I agree 100% that this engine/transmission combo works way better in a MINI than in a BMW.. I’d take this over the new M135i every day

Great city car to bring or pick up my Kids to school! I just bought one the exact model with 306 HP in rebel green with red chili roof and mirrors. This car is very impressive I just love it when my wife let’s me drive it.
BTW I normally drive my lovely car Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS!!! ❤️✌️
Drivin 15tkm with a JCW convertibel (231 hp) and love it. Can imagine that this car is even more fun.
Hard seat I can relate, I find the JCW seats a little bit hard as well. But not that I cant drive 1tkm straight in it.

Wow - 160mph in a Mini Clubman. Alec Issigonis would be very surprised. Once upon a time, Mini's were 850cc and very basic indeed - but extremely popular in London's "swinging sixties".

I ordered and have a 2019 Countryman S...All 4 “6 Speed Manual” I’ve been informed no more stick...I love it and know it’s my last Mini...No Manual for 2020.
i think only the 2door hardtop is offered with manual now (in US)

Beautiful, mate - great, comprehensive review - genuinely REALLY useful, as I am looking at getting one. I also didn't realise they have the engine/exhaust sound 'pumped in' to the cockpit - as you rightly said, it can be annoying/distracting...... Thanks, again! :0)

Hi I am choosing between one of these and an i30N. Drive the i30N today and really liked it sounded great and felt fantastic and a blast to drive in manual. How would you compare this with the i30N in terms of driving, handling and fun and which would you have?
The 19" wheels don't come with adaptive suspension, only the 18"
I have the 19" with active suspension. Dont know what you mean.
But I have to add that I didnt config my car online. I did it at the cardealer in germany and he said that this is no problem.
@@mynotell You can't chose both in the configurator. And the adaptive suspension isn't standard as Max said.

Unknown IP I have an f56 jcw from 2015, not skipped a beat for 45,000 miles and everyday since buying I still look forward to hopping in it...I’m aware the timing chains like to go around this mileage though 😬😬😬

I have one of these, Model 2020 ( almost 3 years old and just 21k miles ) Frankly I didn't think my Clubman JCW could reach such speed. The fastest my car has ever been able to go is 75 miles per hour on the freeway. The ticket for speeding here in the United States is very high and the inconvenience caused by a highway patrol stopping you for violating the limit is overwhelming. Very good review. Thank you dude.

Yes. the same as in the m135i xDrive and x2 m35i
Correct the B48 engine but tbh it suits this car much better than those 2 35i models from BMW, I don't know why they did the FWD just to keep the cost down, I wish they would for once make a 5 cylinder for their 35i models, I know Audi's 5 pot sounds super great but BMW can do it again like they did with the V10

False, it’s the B48E. Different crank, redesigned pistons, lower compression (9.5), larger turbo.

You were driving on mid and keep on saying sport 😆😆😆, those light on dash turn green on green mode,,, purplish on mid and red on sport mode,,, 😆😆😆,,, you just miss the fun of sport totally,,, 😆,,,, next time do it properly,,,,, I didn’t get JCW but I have cooper s,,, 2.0T,,,, clubman,,, and yes it’s beast and em in and always love with mini,,,,, mini forever ♾
they only do that when you hit the toggle, then they go back to the ambient lighting. if you look at the speedo, you will see two little words, one with sport, the other saying traction. check 6:06 and he hits the toggle, the lights go red and then go back to blue again for the rest of the drive

Wait a minute. Youre in Holland, there isnt an autobahn in Holland as far as I know, they have speed limit of 130 there on every motorway..... So basically in all your videos ever, youve been driving 2-2,5 times the legal limit.
He goes across the border to Germany and drives the cars there. And speed limit in NL is 100km/h now.
