@@stubones . Its all just a bit of fun but you don't really learn much from this. To do something meaningful, the drivers should change cars and the cars should change position on the track and they should do about 20 runs each.
The times are done via v box so reaction times are irrelevant and the race is just for entertainment..the clock starts the moment the car moves on the vbox just like a real drag race so the mercedes is the slowest

Lesson learnt: Drag races are useless to judge cars if the drivers do not start at the same time. 🙄
I like this channel but I have a huge problem with the fact that with each and every video someone else jump starts and its never really judgeable. Like fuck it he's first because he started eariler but what does it say about the car? Hell every one of them is an automatic as well. I wrote before - make them race 15 times and take the one which was fair. But it seems like they come to the track, race 1 or 2 times and goes home. Thats not very professional.
Its impossible for everyone to start at the same time. Even pro drag racers have different reaction times. This is all for fun.

And we dont have the Guarantee that all drivers will go full throttle from start to finish. Sometimes the Cars accelerate almost immediatly and suddenly one of them shoots forward as if he got 100 HP more.
i think this is more for fun if u want fair races just go somewhere else
Quarter mile times are what actually matters. This is why drag testing sometimes doesn't even acknowledge who crossed the line first.

Christian Gutschik he claimed it was to take the launch delay out. Technically cheating. They should use gps to time the cars, for eg a dragy or v box. Driver reaction makes it misleading.

As a mini owner, I feel we are under represented in review and comparison videos. Having said that, most Mini owners don't really care how their car stacks up against others, as they usually just buy the car because its what they specifically want, regardless of reviews, performance, or other factors

Precisely! They should make her hold her hands in the up ("set") position for longer unspecified time so that the drivers don't know exactly when she'll lower them. That way this early start simply won't be possible.
NOW they know she'll lower them a second after she's raised them every time. Very predictable. That's why this is regularly happening.
Matt jumped the start 1st time, Yianni jumped the last one. Only fair one was the 2nd drag race
@@JammoJay They didin't jump any of the start, when her hands starts to go down you are allow to start. And yeah for the fact the lights will be better in this case to avoid jumping the start, and they always should do BO3. But in those drag races there is one another thing besides drag race those cars, and it's actually battle between Matt and Yanni and it won't always represent 100% truly power of those cars, but it would never represent even if they stop that battle, becouse you will never eleminate human factor, and reaction won't be on point always.

I'm not saying he jumped but he skewed the results because he worked out that it took half a sec for the clutch to engage which the other two didn't account for so his car moved when the girl said go and the other two were just sinking the foot at that point. Which was good racing by Yianni but not a fair test of the cars and the guy in the Merc wasn't as aggressive as the other two. It would be better if they switched cars and did the drag race 3 times.

Zelath No it’s just your car is shit. That C180 is garbage and there’s a reason they don’t advertise it or even offer it anywhere else because I have yet to see those in the US. A standard C class is better than that and it’s far to slow. 8.3 seconds to reach 60mph/100kmh.
