UPDATE AS OF 2/22/22 With the release of UE5 Preview, the UE5 tab that we click on at 1:22 is no longer there. Instead, as seen at 3:04, go to the Library tab, click the plus button to the right of where it says "Engine Versions", then click on the version number of the new engine installation, select the version of Unreal Engine that you want to install, and finally click the Install buttons. Here is an image, imgur.com/gallery/D8Y1jxU, and gif, imgur.com/gallery/7BaXtz1, that better show where and how to install Unreal Engine 5 from the Epic Games Launcher.
Hey everyone, it's been a while since our last video but we're hoping to be more active from here on out. This video was more just to let ya'll know that I'm (arms) feeling much better and that future tutorials moving forward will use mostly UE5 Early Access until the production version is released. Thank you for reading and can't wait to create more videos, live streams, and other content for you guys/gals!
Hey, in the launcher, go the Library tab after going to the Unreal Engine section, click on the plus button by where it says Engine Versions, then in the new popup, click on the version number (4.27.2, 4.26.2, 5.0.0 or whatever it says) and select the version of Unreal Engine that you want to install. After that, just click the install button. Let me know if you need any clarification.
Hello, what to do if "set current" is not working? I am not sure for what it is. My problem: I have version 5.0.1 and there is no way to update it to 5.02 or 5.03
Hey, you'll have to go to the Library tab in the Unreal Engine section of the launcher and click the plus button to add a new unreal engine installation. Hope that helps.
UE5 takes forever to install because of the massive 150GB+ download, it can take over a day to get it running causing you to leave your PC on overnight, that's how long it takes to install this monster of a software download. At least for me, I'm not sure about anyone else having this problem when first installing it.

@Lengko Nature Even when you add a new Unreal Engine installation through the Library tab in the Epic Games Launcher?

Thanks for your work
Thanks for the video, I was stuck because I didn't think I needed to download the Epic launcher.
Discovery:
Library -> Engine Versions. Click on +. It will say 4.27.2. This number has a drop-down where you chose 5.0.0 Preview 1. Then install.
You're a hero
@@GoodTimes2323 :) Thank you (with love, my dear).
The + button is greyed out, can't download any version of UE
You may need to quit out of and restart the Epic Games Launcher or restart your computer.
i just realized i went straight into library lol didnt know it was on the unreal engine section
One solution for those not finding it. Go to Unreal Engine, Library Tab, 4.26 and click on the top right arrow close to 4.26 and select version 5.
What if we don't want to install the Epic Games Launcher? Is there a way to install it without EGS?
You can also install it through Github, which we also have a video on, ua-cam.com/video/_7TQynJ_TrQ/v-deo.html
I can't install UE5 because the epic games launcher tab I couldn't see UE5 so how can I fix this? Good video, thanks.

@@Flopperam Hey thank you but the plus button there are two versions only 4.27 and 4.26 I can't add plus for new version
Could you send a screenshot? Hopefully your comment won't get deleted automatically by UA-cam for having a URL link.
@@Flopperam Thank you I can send via email for fast and correct way, can you write your email ?
At that point, I would suggest joining the Discord server in the description.
