Facts. Lived in a hoarded home, had one hope at fifteen. My first apartment. My mother was going to sign me into freedom. I signed the papers. But because she knew i wanted to go she didn't sign. I was denied the chance to escape. I cried for years until i met my husband at sixteen. He was thirty four. At that time i was afraid but i needed a home. He had it. Everyone told him he cant have me because im too young. I say none of those friends are still here today. I am still here with him, twelve years later, nineteen years apart. People think because he is a country gold tooth smack talking fried chicken eatin mac. I was always ready to fly the coop. Both me and my sister turned nineteen under his roof. Now in my thirties i can enjoy the rubbernecking because i am no Skeezer 😂

I'm torn because I think it depends on what kind of parents you have. I think if your parents respect your maturity, there's nothing wrong with staying with them, but if they are helicopter parents you gotta bounce because you'll never be able to fully mature.

sorry but I disagree. I live with my parents, we split all the bills and chores, cooking too. I help a lot my parents now that they are older. We are like roommates. I would go as far to say it's better to live with them then with wife, I know they won't betray me, I can 100% trust them. And also, I have a great paying job.

Depends on your situation, you can't generalize like OP or apply the same situation to all.
IMO During these times of real estate market bubble propping fuckery is mostly financially responsible to not go rent just to 'leave the nest', and invest the remainder money into yourself and savings to not have to deal with rent seeking parasites later.
