Came away from this interview with a real negative view of TK. His constant redirecting and outright hostility towards basic questions posed was extremely unprofessional. Most of these question were teed up for Tony to clear up criticism & common complaints, he instead took offense.
He's been doing that for years. I don't know why he even does press if he doesn't wanna answer questions. Everything about this dude, from his horrible booking, to his obvious habits, makes me shake my head.

Where's the growth. You compare the ratings from this time last year and 2022 etc to no the ratings are massively down. Instead of worrying about the opposition, remove the non-draws stop force feeding them down everyone's throat and focus on what made AEW semi defent. Build around Swerve MJF and Osperay.

Still not sure how Richie Rich grew up the biggest ECW and WCW fan but somehow is making every mistake they both made that helped put them out of business (overpaying stars, badly written angles, letting unappreciated big names leave..only to watch them become mega stars elsewhere) only he's doing it in 1/3 the amount of time.
So Dave takes about a minute and a half to ask him about his shitty ratings prefacing it with how actually they’re really good.
Bryan asks him an interesting question which he then completely non answers.

I used to love AEW but especially this year the weekly shows have been bad. I wanna see characters, good stories, fun segments than predictable wrestling matches every show.
Tony still worries WWE because he always brings them up. WWE is on a whole new level with HHH in charge of creative. The Bloodline Civil War segments will beat out AEW.

Dave takes a day to ask a loaded question for Tony to then take forever to answer since he always fillers.
This "interview" was a total set up from the start, notice how it doesn't run smoothly and the 'questions' asked are ones that literally no one would ask, especially when so much has happened at AEW in the last couple of years and these guys ask about the demo and 'frustration with fans fantasy booking'.

I got really annoyed listening to this because at the end Bryan asked about overcoming predictability and Tony started off fine then he started rambling off about the connection of Mina and the fans and sending people to Stardom and shit.... He answered nothing of what Bryan actually asked... Tony he asked you about unpredictable outcomes FFS.... He had the right storyline to use for his answer.. Having Mariah May being the center of all of this and having her flip flop sides and having it make sense produces unpredictable television that makes fans want to tune in more.. Like one moment Mariahs doing entrances with both ladies.. Then she's getting hit by a champagne bottle by Mina but it happened because Toni ducked.. So it boils down to who Mariah sees as the guilty party down the line.. You add twists and turns so the fans question the predictability of your outcomes... That's the answer Tony!
