Nah they have the Garcia push also.
The problem with AEW is that Tony Khan only considers the opinions of die-hard wrestling nerds as valid. If you're booking to get stars from Meltzer and Cage Match ratings, then you're excluding everyone except the message board trolls. The Meltzer/Alvarez argument about dvr-ing overruns was the perfect crystallisation of their problem. Of course he is. IDK why people keep saying stupid ish like " this wwe wrestler is a bigger draw than this AEW wrestler". The talent isn't the problem, management is.
The Bucks and their influence are definitely a problem, too. And Jericho selling out to these bad comedy ideas. But yeah, all issues start at the top with Tony.
i didn’t care about Liv Morgan two months ago and triple h made an interesting angle with her and judgement day and now i’m looking forward to her segments. exactly what happens when a booker knows what they’re doing
Simple answer to the question Yes everybody says he's a nice girl but he's not a boss. Look at the media scrum was CM punk for example a boss cuts him off and says now's not the time for this we here to focus on the pay-per-view. A boss defuses the situation before it gets to that point That's not Tony Khan

The fact is…WWE fans grew up with muscular athletes as their heroes… AEW fans grew up watching the acrobatic movements of their comic book heroes, and the best competitor in the Math club…
Not just muscular guys. You had guys back then that are built like the AEW talent but had alot more charisma...1-2-3 kids/Syxx/X-Pac, Tajiri, Spike Dudley, Rey Mysterio, Jamie Noble, Justin Gabriel from Nexus, etc..hell Shane Helms/The Hurricane..these guys were always over

Tony Khan is a fucking genius man. He started an entire wrestling empire. He didn't have the skill or know how He did it with only a bunch of money and a dream.
Sorry - Brian Cage has never really been over. He’s got a great physic and moves very well for having so much muscle…but he doesn’t sound confident to me on the mic and seems to not really believe in what he says or mannerisms. Until he fixes those issues - I don’t think he can get much higher on the card.
Sadly TK is B. Siegel/Turner. Ted love of wrestling & money with Siegel desire to not be responsible for anything. The biggest difference is Ted never would’ve tried to book for WCW.
TK needs to think of Meltzer and many of the critics online the way you look at Rotten Tomatoes for movies. Just because Rotten Tomatoes gave a movie a great review, doesn’t mean fans are automatically gonna watch it and enjoy it. The opinion of a critic, is just an opinion. The only opinion that should matter, is the opinion of the fans, they are the ones who assist you in paying the bills.
AEW Forbidden Door is tonight and I don't think I've ever seen less of a buzz for a PPV in my life. I mean it's on in less than 10 hours and NO ONE cares.
In terms of Tony Khan and leadership, he couldn't even tell Jungle Boy "hey, we can't put you through a rental car." Now you get a locker room full of resentful egos....And I'd want to see Konnan and Disco work for AEW. If you think you can do a better job....
That guy that supposed to "moderate" or whatever the hell he does has some of the worst ideas. He's an example of what happens when you don't take education seriously.
Boring storylines and poor booking hurts them a lot. But they also seem incapable of building, promoting, or marketing stars. Nobody feels special outside mjf and they’re slowly killing him. There’s nothing or nobody you HAVE to tune in and see what’s going on week to week. You can basically skip 90 percent of their tv and not miss anything important and just watch the pay per views.
I just listened to an interview from a couple years ago with someone that isnt in the company anymore, i believe. However, they mentioned interest in a match with Ospreay. He said he doesnt want it to be a cold match, though. Arent ALL matches in AEW cold matches? They dont build up jack. Except that awful Devil storyline that went on forever.
AEW has their hardcore fans. A lot of the people who are not enjoying the product ( me included), and are speaking out. We wanted and still want them to succeed. Unfortunately Tony will not listen to anyone including people who work for him. I used to feel bad for the TK billionaire, but he doesn't care about putting out an entertaining product. Swerve, Okada, MJF, and Osprey should be in a feud with 4 other wrestlers. Swerve and Starks, Okada and Miro, or Brian Cage, MJF and Wardlow, Osprey and Brian Danielson,, actually that should be building for Danielson's last match. Start a love triangle with Jungle Boy, Anna Jay, and another man or woman. Christian and Edge vs Bucks, FTR, and others to prove who is the best. I think if TK was a self made billionaire he would approach his company differently. I am fantasy mark booker Charles 😅.
Aew has all the talent it needs it has all the money but unless Tony Kahn steps up and actually writes good television and tell all the ratings killers to hit the bricks then nothings gonna change
A million times yes. Running a company is hard. Doing creative on a live weekly wrestling show is hard. People really have convinced themselves that Vince only won by having New York and predatory business practices. You can’t build and sustain the industry standard in any field that by just starting ahead and bullying people. Vince won because he was better than his competition. Tony is losing because he’s not good at this. End of story.
Since AEW began, all Tony Khan can come up with is forming factions and people challenging others to "dream matches". That's all he has. Seriously, If I'm wrong tell me ONE idea he's come up with that isn't a faction or "i want to wrestle you".
I don’t really see AEW having that many problems. I quit watching wrestling about 14 years ago because of how cheesy it got and how bad and cheesy wwe was getting with the PG era after growing up watching WCW/WWF I just couldn’t anymore. After seeing what TNA was doing, WWE seemed boring. Then hogan came 🤢AEW got me back into wrestling in 2019. I still can’t manage to watch raw or smackdown bc every time I watch it, it is extremely cheesy and overproduced and not really directed to someone my age. So I know a lot of the wrestling media and former wrestlers aren’t a fan of how AEW is but the reality is I wouldn’t watch any major wrestling promotions if it weren’t for AEW so I do love it as it is. Idk if it’ll blow up as much as it was when punk joined but I still love the promotion and truly wouldn’t watch wrestling if it weren’t for AEW. (Minor shot but punk is not a good worker whatsoever now and his matches outside of mjf in aew were meh.)
Brian Cage sucks in the ring but if he or Wardlow were in WWE,they would’ve been Vince’s wet dream. If you’re Cage and in the shape he’s in yet guys like Orange Cassidy get pushed,id be INFURIATED.
So holding water bottles and towels are considered “ trainers”. They all sound and feel like I “I’m in the biz guys I swear” . Hahaha so desperate sounding imo.
The problem is and always has been the booking. Tony has the talent on his roster. He had a chance with Wardlow, Mark Briscoe, and Eddie Kingston. He had a shot with The Acclaimed. Guys like Will Hobbs and even Nick Comoroto would be easy to get over. Just hire someone to talk for them and smash them over. It's not rocket science. Daniel Garcia's real life story is enough to get him over as a babyface, especially if you booked him right. Nic Nemeth could get over if they had spent some time on him. I could even buy into a character like Orange Cassidy if Tony had given him a backstory and a reason for existing. The booking is killing AEW. Tony claims to be a superfan, be he doesn't seem to understand booking at all.
the refusal to push guys like Wardlow or Hobbs is just strange. If WWE had Wardlow back when he debuted with AEW, he would be a top guy in the industry right now
Hell yeah Tony Khan is AEW's biggest problem. Yes, he's their biggest asset because he's the banker, but his horrible booking and burial of all of his wrestlers is hurting the promotion badly.
Competing egos with propensity......F it! Just call it backstage politics. And speaking of stars lost in the shuffle, Darby should have been pushed a long time ago. He's been paired with Sting too long.
Short answer, yes. Long answer, hell yes. He's playing MyGM mode for real. He really needs a handler to vet his tweets. Dude is spouting the same nonsense I'd expect from a 20 year old mark; not the owner / operator of a multi million dollar wrestling promotion.

The Bucks should be the chicken shit heels along with Jungle Boy. Okada should be fighting their battles, and they should be attacking with numbers, and cheating. Picking fights and hiding behind Okada. I would enjoy that Bucks group. Nah they have the Garcia push also.
Those three need to get to WWE asap.
1.Tony Khan
2.Toxic virginal type fans
3. 🐢 🐂 Announcers
4. Evps
5. 30 min matches/50-50 booking
Ha.
I personally would put evp’s at one, but I agree with your list.
@@achimosis over Tony Khan though? Well, there's really no wrong answer. Here have a 🍪.
Ha.
Enthusiasts will go to those lengths to ensure they will catch the end of the show, casuals and new watchers will go "oh, that sucks" and move on to something else. Congratulations, you've lost a viewer purely by making it too hard to access your product.
Top 5 worse things of AEW!! Name them 1)AEW fans 2)Tony Khan's booking 3)Far too many 5,8 170 lbs, high flying, no promo having, no charisma upper mid-carders!! 4) MJF is not as good as we are told he is. 5) Miro was never made one of the franchise players!!
Ms Hot and Flexible ruined Miro
Of course he is. IDK why people keep saying stupid ish like " this wwe wrestler is a bigger draw than this AEW wrestler". The talent isn't the problem, management is.
A lot of those "wrestlers" shouldn't even be on TV to begin with
The Bucks and their influence are definitely a problem, too.
Wrong description of Timecop and it’s actually one of van dammes better movies. The movie you’re referring to is sudden death. Just saying.
Who even are those guys in the thumbnail next to Tony Khan??
Nyla rose is a 41 year old man
Simple answer to the question Yes everybody says he's a nice girl but he's not a boss. Look at the media scrum was CM punk for example a boss cuts him off and says now's not the time for this we here to focus on the pay-per-view. A boss defuses the situation before it gets to that point That's not Tony Khan
There was a clip I saw where Brian Cage was on the ramp watching Orange Cassidy & somebody else fight off and you could literally see the anger in his face of not being pushed over tiny guys lol
Just watched the rush vs mjf just to see what AEW had to offer and oh man cornette was right! Wtf was that garbage 😂
Dude in the Who Killed WCW documentary Konan was all F U to the executives for killing WCW, then he says his first thing in AEW is to fire everyone I'm running a business lol
Crazy his favorite movie is Time Cop.
Low key love that movie lol.
That proves that the wrestlers are just Toys to him to play with
Tony Khan have a deal with WBD. Get a producer from Warner Bros who can help build AEW and get a booker.
The fact is…WWE fans grew up with muscular athletes as their heroes…
AEW fans grew up watching the acrobatic movements of their comic book heroes, and the best competitor in the Math club…
I'd take a mathlete over 1/2 the aew roster at this point. Better seller, looks the part, and can file taxes on time.
Not just muscular guys. You had guys back then that are built like the AEW talent but had alot more charisma...1-2-3 kids/Syxx/X-Pac, Tajiri, Spike Dudley, Rey Mysterio, Jamie Noble, Justin Gabriel from Nexus, etc..hell Shane Helms/The Hurricane..these guys were always over
Ain't nothing muscular about Zayn, Owens, and uso. Hahaha
@@Michael-tj5bk Usos are average shape not sloppy but not fit. You don't see many physically toned Samoans they eat good
Usos out of shape.... they played college football, you know those out of shape lards. I guess lineman are just slow plodders. Sorry they aren't cut like the hardley boys, evp faction over there, or njpw wrestlers that are 50 and can't stretch their necks. You should watch Aew, not blindly defend it because meltzer gives out 7 star matches.
I hate Disco i fking cant stand the dork. But he's 100 percent correct on his assessment and how its played out 5 years later. GOD what universe am i in?!?
Tony Khan needs to fire everyone who's making 7 figures in AEW. Literally zero of them are with it
They’re under contract. He can’t just fire them and save millions all of a sudden. He still has to pay them throughout their contract right?
@@analiysanchez9949 he can release them. The money isn't a problem to him but he has to know that they're not worth keeping on tv
Tony is just the same as the SpotBucks. “we’re doing nothing wrong. They are wrong”
22 minutes of “Yes”.
Brian Cage looks like one of Jinder mahalls back pimples came to life.
''get the kazoo out '' cracked me
Your top champ isn't your top seller?!
Daniel Garcia is looking a bit Ozempic-ish in that thumbnail, no?
Feeney, that was actually a decent idea about Brian Cage and Nick Comoroto. BUT, they’ve been jobbed out to obscurity, so it probably wouldn’t work.
I went to an AEW show for the first time and I didn't wanna believe the attendance rumours now it was collision but still the way they pack the place is facts and sadly it was A LOT of empty seats and it was Norfolk VA it was still a good show but very sad to see the online stuff is true I'm going to see them again in August to an actual DYNAMITE maybe it'll be a bigger crowd it's in the same building
I think it's funny the editor of this video put Santana in the picture when the dude isn't in AEW anymore 🤣
He used to be there now he’s in TNA
Tony Khan is a fucking genius man.
He started an entire wrestling empire.
He didn't have the skill or know how
He did it with only a bunch of money and a dream.
Sorry - Brian Cage has never really been over. He’s got a great physic and moves very well for having so much muscle…but he doesn’t sound confident to me on the mic and seems to not really believe in what he says or mannerisms. Until he fixes those issues - I don’t think he can get much higher on the card.
Im going to throw Dave Meltzer into the mix
Sadly TK is B. Siegel/Turner. Ted love of wrestling & money with Siegel desire to not be responsible for anything. The biggest difference is Ted never would’ve tried to book for WCW.
Well said Guys Explains it perfectly 😏👉🏾🧠📈💯
TK needs to think of Meltzer and many of the critics online the way you look at Rotten Tomatoes for movies. Just because Rotten Tomatoes gave a movie a great review, doesn’t mean fans are automatically gonna watch it and enjoy it. The opinion of a critic, is just an opinion. The only opinion that should matter, is the opinion of the fans, they are the ones who assist you in paying the bills.
You need 22 min to say "Absolutely, Yes"?
AEW Forbidden Door is tonight and I don't think I've ever seen less of a buzz for a PPV in my life. I mean it's on in less than 10 hours and NO ONE cares.
That tells you AEW has no stars if ROH is 3rd on merch movers.
It all starts at the top.
He's an example of what happens when you don't take education seriously.
lol at time cop being anyones favorite movie. its ok at best.
I completely forget about Brian cage thanks aew
Boring storylines and poor booking hurts them a lot. But they also seem incapable of building, promoting, or marketing stars. Nobody feels special outside mjf and they’re slowly killing him. There’s nothing or nobody you HAVE to tune in and see what’s going on week to week. You can basically skip 90 percent of their tv and not miss anything important and just watch the pay per views.
Aew makes merch?
long answer short....YES.
Konnan for Biden 2024!!😂
You're not fooling ANYONE.😉
Tony is the biggest problem, Tony's dad is their #1 asset
Wrestling Intelligence and Political Ignorance
Young bucks deserve plenty of blame
Aew has all the talent it needs it has all the money but unless Tony Kahn steps up and actually writes good television and tell all the ratings killers to hit the bricks then nothings gonna change
Yes.
Who the f*** is buying liv Morgan merch???
Fans
He became the guy who he tried to save people from lol
Since AEW began, all Tony Khan can come up with is forming factions and people challenging others to "dream matches".
That's all he has. Seriously, If I'm wrong tell me ONE idea he's come up with that isn't a faction or "i want to wrestle you".
Storm vs. Shirakawa titty war? 😂😂
What the hell are you talking about?
You forgot about all them Battle Royales and tournaments?
I can't wait for the Battle Royale Tournament.
Ha.
@@duckmercy11Storm ain't got no puppies, though.
Ha.
The story with the mask and Adam Cole I guess lololol but that means absolutely nothing now
Thurston Howell III? I guess Konnan listens to Cornette.
Excellent video
TK looks like he just gives big contracts to guys so he can hug and blow them backstage.
OMG take that E- drones
Cage should be champion
If WWE had Wardlow back when he debuted with AEW, he would be a top guy in the industry right now
BC Gold is a top merch seller? Jay White paired with guys spending so much time on the mat, they should get a pillow.
Aew was only good for 2 years after that company went straight into the toilet
No doubt he is
