" Wrestling fans " want to see AEW succeed. It's good for the business and performers. Having said that, Tony...stop killing your product. Get some writers/bookers to help you with creative. You run an NFL franchise, and have other companies as well. Stop straining yourself and hire someone to book ROH ( like Triple HHH has HBK book NXT ). Most matches are bangers on your show/ppvs...But bangers without proper story/build/character development..it's not going to help bring in the casual audience that helps you get your TV deals and word of mouth exposure. Neither will lacking in the production department. The production quality, audio, entrances, even some themes are lacking tbh. AEW has the pieces and talent. The boss just needs to make the right decisions.
Very well said. I'm a big fan of AEW but I hope he can hire some great writers to improve and create some storylines. I want to see this company prosper. I hope the return of MJF will help.
This is outdated as hell. He hired Jenn Pepperman around okadas debut. She was a longtime producer for wwe and won Emmy’s writing for soap operas. They hired the right person.

You can just tell that this man is a huge fan of wrestling and treats AEW in a very special way compared to his other projects. He can spend 95% of the interview talking about wrestling while the other 5% are split between Fulham and the Jaguars. His work as a booker may not be ideal to some, but it's hard to deny that his heart is at the right place.

Tony Kahn defines the word Elite. He is always giving back to others in need and donating to charities. He has so many good qualities that some people don't want to notice. Certain people not liking him on a personal level because they don't like the way he books his show is childish.
That is a small part his booking. The most of the reason for people not liking him is cuz he goes on social media and disrespects legends like taker who is the goat of t he wwe., and cena whos has the record for most wishes granted for make a wish. Is aew going to honor our troops in israel. Cuz wwe did for quite awhile went to iraq and Afghanistan risking there lives just to perform for them despite it was a war zone. Wwe has done a lot more charity than khan

WWE always gets a free pass for everything they do wrong, like Triple H calling AEW a "secondary" company on an A&E Documentary, or just last NXT show, Cody telling former AEW guys they are in a "better place" now. Wake up to reality. WWE is not as good as you are making them out to be. I don't recall Tony saying anything about Cena or Undertaker. That sounds made up. Nice try, just not convincing.

It has nothing to do with Tony being a good person or not. He is and that's well known. What's also well known is the man knows very little about the wrestling business and Booking as a whole. His lack of Booking and his company having so many young wrestlers that straight up ignore advice from people who have made a lot of money in the wrestling business while also having Hall of Fame level careers in the process.

@@theraiderofdeath I do watch the show from time to time. I watch clips as well. Tony does not understand long term Booking.
Everything is hotshotted and or his wrestlers find out what's happening day of/hours before a show. Finishes are sloppy and continually reused and or end in some sort of cluster due to run ins instead of a proper finish. Storylines are changed or scrapped very often with little to no explanation as to why. Feuds and matches can come out of nowhere simply with the reasoning of Tony wanted to see 2 people wrestle, yet there's no logical backing or story telling as to why.
Maybe you think Tony knows what he's doing and his story telling, Booking, and reasoning all make sense. You'd be in the minority, but that's your own opinion. I stated mine and it's a much more common mindset among people who have watched and or been in wrestling for many years. Tony's style is very Indie and that's fine. The man has an audience and fulfills the interest of said audience. Unfortunately for him, that audience is a niche one and Tony needs to expand and evolve his Booking if he wants AEW to truly turn big profits, gain a larger audience and viewership ratings.

Tony has shown time and time again that the man doesn't know enough in terms of both football and soccer. He should not have a job with Fulham nor the Jaguars, but does strictly because his father owns both teams. Same with AEW. The man has no idea how to Book and should have people that actually know about Pro Wrestling to Book.
The company is constantly losing money, losing sponsors, losing time slots, and losing viewers. The reasons? One of the biggest being Khan not knowing how to Long Term Book and too many of the younger wrestlers being completely tone deaf to advice from Wrestlers and people that actually know the business and have made money hand over fist in the business.
