- Hey! I'm Josh and today I am applying a new matte screen protector to use for my artwork! Putting on a new screen protector can be one of the most frustrating things in the world. Today, I am going to show you how to do it perfectly though...every time!

Maya Akther I had it for a while I can say that it actually does! It’s not exactly the same, it feels like if you were using a special kind of pencil on a piece of paper 📝
I have this now and it feels very good my gf likes it. Two people blind tested it said it felt like paper. Feels nice, but has some color too it when light is on it, so I feel like I’m not getting the clearest picture.
Like being in a sandstorm but not really noticeable

One tip I felt i found on my own though was to keep one large airbubble so that you can split it, then move it to certain corners of the screen protector to remove more sneaky dust.
Big bubble is easier to move than small bubbles. Small bubbles tend to get compressed until they get so small you can't move them anymore once you push.
So, use the big bubble to collect the small bubbles, then eject them off the edge all at one go!

I hate that rainbow refraction that comes from it. I love it on my phone, but not for colour sensitive work on a tablet.

You should've just used the stickers to remove all dust and hairs before applying the screen protector. You wouldn't have worried about removing them after.
They still sneak in anyway bc of the air being pushed around.

okay so my screen protector JUST arrived today and i followed your video to a T!!! cause im too dumb to figure things out without seeing how its done first 😂 but man you made installing the protector so easy!!!! i got the icarez matte as well and it feels so make much better drawing on it compared to drawing on the ipads bare glass surface!! (not to mention a lot cheaper than paperlike) though i must admit itll get a bit getting used to the slight red and green gradient 🤔 but seriously thanks!!!! you saved me a butt load of frustration 😂😂😂
I never use the alcohol wipe.it only makes things worse. I just clean it well. it can ruin the coating and ruin waterpoofing a little i've heard

How long do you find that the “Matteness” lasts? Does it rub off easier than the more expensive “name brand” paper like protectors?
I have used this particular brand for nearly a year when I got my first Ipad. I find it lasts 6 months minimum with heavy use.

i have this exact same screen protector. for anyone who messed up the first try. wait a day with the screen laid on a flat surface. it somehow got rid of all the bubbles for me.

So how do you "control" the stray hairs that fall messily on her forehead? I keep trying to get my strays to look like strays, but they come out looking more like threads that were shaped into weird lines purposely.
Hmmm The only thing I make sure to do is to do them in one quick stroke. That way they look as natural as possible.
