IMPORTANT!* correction to the dimensions the front is 5-8-5, the small sides for the front are 3-3(left side right side) the corners of the build are 3-3-3 to make the curve and the back is 18.
Apologize to anyone struggling to have it match up😅 and thanks to the guys for pointing it out
Eu adorei, vou copiar com certeza!
@@TheJesicley Wish i read this b4 hand Jajajajaja, nvm i made mine a lil different, anyone want to help me with my aussie dedidcated server? search midgard legends, password mlvalheim, just paid for a server, im fairly new only completed 2 bosses so far, only play with my daughter, her friend and my m8 sometimes, but would rather a populated server, Oh Great Build and Vid @Versaugh !!!
Omg tried this for a day before i saw this post :D And yes it did not match up no matter how i tried lol
I know this is a year later lol, but you were correct the first time with 18 for the back. I'm just now following this build and it is 18, not 24.
Curti tentei fazer igual, só acho q ele devia ter mostrado maus de como fazer
this tutorial was an absolute nightmare to build. Idk why more people aren't talking abt this.
Absolutely I agree. What is written and what appears are completely different :@
Great longhouse - but if you want to call it a "how to" you should probably not skip half the steps
@9c8s4ltd5xlg== get a real youtube name🤣😂🤣😂
@9c8s4ltd5xlg== that's my legal name 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 nice try ass-hat
That's what I'm saying
How can one not figure out the simplest things?
Yup. Plus the sides aren’t 5
I love the "lampstands" outside with the blue torch and the new darkwood divider pieces. Simple yet stunning effect. Gonna build these at my new H&H base for sure, maybe try green torches.
You seem to have skipped some steps in the video. One frame has no roof, then the next frame there's a roof with another line of support beams in it.
I'm gonna have to second this. Tried following as best I could and things just aren't lining up as well as the video. Without an actual literal step by step video trying to mimic these builds gets a little frustrating.
@@d-rad5822 damn near impossible, especially roof without flying ability.
@@randyproby215 I did it all by pausing the video, and making tons of scaffolding. This build, without the step by step, is not for new builders!
after a long day of building houses, i sit in my chair and watch how to build houses in valheim, call me crazy but i love my job xD
Wow wanna switch jobs? im stuck in a office...RL
@@Versaugh sure! :D what kind of office work you do?
@@Roeban89 the one i sit and take calls....
@@Versaugh I understand why you want to switch! ;-) Thanks for making these awesome video's! It really makes my day sometimes! Keep it up!
Absolutely stunning!!! 👏
Love the different heights of the first floor, this makes it so interesting to the eye! The little balconies are a very nice touch as well as the dividers used as lampshades outside. Wonderful build!
Thanks so much! 😊
Great build! Enjoying the challenge to my skills. My stones at the top didn’t quite match and that was important for the roof beams to land properly. Might want to mention that In future. One other thing might be that people wanting to build complex (to me) digs consider watching the whole vid before attempting if they are a newb like me. Thanks for making this.
The attention to detail is insane.Majestic job, sir!
My favorite build I’ve found so far. Attempting it now. So cool.
Just finished this! was my first build in Valheim. Had to go with a different roof style because I had a few alignment issues. Awesome vid
This soundtrack is amazing-impressive build too.
Absolutely gorgeous, can't wait to advance to dark wood tier in the fresh world me and my mates made a few days ago
Have fun!
Bravo, absolute stellar work Versaugh!
Hey Thanks!😀
Анна спасибо вам огромное

I'm not sure how I'm just now seeing your videos...this longhouse is absolutely incredible and there are some really intriguing builds in your history. New sub here, it looks like a have a lot of catching up to do.
Thanks for the support😁
Very beautiful. I especially like the lights outside!
Helped a lot with what I wanna do with my next base. Great building skills
I usually don't comment, but i am about to build this house for the 3rd time now. For me its just the most appealing and functional Endgame Solo Viking home. Workshop left, Kitchen right, Bedroom and Tub upstairs. I modify it for my needs but the always on this style and base. Thanks for this!
Looks great! I love those rounded wood columns I'm going to have to mess around with those in my keep
Just when i think im drcent at building...i go and watch something like this.
This is truly amazing.
Just wow...
thanks😄
Another astonishing build, V! Decorations on point too!!!
Thank you!! 😊

Awsome build with really nice details. I especially like the round wooden pillars. Defenitly an idea i will steal at some point. :P
You never cease to impress my friend! Love this build, you are a master!
Amazing build! Thanks so much for sharing. I can't wait to take some of these cool ideas and start leveling up my builds!
Glad to help!
Wow that’s an amazing build - nice work!
Thanks a bunch!
So V, I watched it the first time for the build. Amazing build man. Butthe second, third and so on i just watched it for background music during schoolwork. Pretty good music
glad you enjoyed the build and choice of music even tho its the one video i wish i executed better 😅
My beard just grew a beard of it's own from watching this.
Mighty hall you made here.
Here's to many more🍻
lol well just you wait your beard gonna grow more beards when you see my grand master plan😂
Just be careful, i see yer game was stuttering at times when placing the beams for the columns on the side of the fireplace 😅
Don't want yer house to be burning down now.
@@HandyHanderson lol game fighting against my creativity

😂 this is too funny!!
This is awesome, I saw the pic of it on Twitter the other day and was wondering how you did those windows :)
Love all the details and the pillars built from poles, really great build 👍😁
Thanks so much! 😊
@@Versaugh if only you could learn how not to skip steps and show everything in a how to video

amazing build
Amazing!! 🤩🤩
House bit as walls of my base if not even bigger and also.. well... outstanding
Очень впечатлительная и красивая постройка. Использование табуретки очень оригинально! :)
Спасибо
all the tars! pretty house
Unbelievable man, nice job.
Thanks a lot!
Great Buildings! saw your Tweet about your most recent video, looking at all of them now.
Glad you like them!
Impresionante diseño. Cuánta imaginación.
As Aretha would say...(great movie btw) R E S P E C T !
This would be easier if you didn’t skip parts thinking everyone will know how to do it
hey sorry if some area wasn't clear,i was trying to keep the vital parts to not have a very long video, but appreciate your feedback and will try to make future videos a bit clearer and easier
Great Build🥰👍👍👍
Great build. Did this in regular server, and wanted to limit amount of iron used, so did iron scaffold only on the cornered edges, and replaced it elsewhere and also upper stones with 2m vertical poles. Had to put one horizontal iron beam in the middle to support the roof with couple of vertical 4m core wood poles but I won't consider it spoiling openness of the heart room.
sweet!
Beautiful Build
Thank you!
It would have been great if you showcased how you lay down the foundation of the Building so mistakes can be avoided.
So beautiful very hard work but is amazing
Thank you so much 😀
its a great build super creative and all
still, a bit frustrating the time skips where suddenly half of a key feature of the build is built off screen and you have to guess how it was done, definetely not for a beginner
had to improvise most parts because i had no idea, for example, how the balconies were built or how the outside part of the furnace walls work....
What a beautiful design, sullied by your ignorance and bafflingly selective editing! It's almost as if you embarked on a mission to create the most disjointed and unhelpful tutorial possible. Your ability to gloss over crucial building aspects rivals that of a magician diverting attention from their sleight of hand. I must commend your prowess in making me feel like I've stumbled into an alternate universe where basic explanations are banished and viewers are left to decipher your enigmatic gestures.
Oh, and let's not forget your remarkable talent for speedrunning through vital steps while leaving us, the bewildered audience, in the dust of our own confusion. The way you effortlessly glided past the foundation placement and jumped straight to the roofing, it's almost like witnessing a groundbreaking magic trick - if the magician's intention was to leave their audience completely flabbergasted and utterly lost.
And the pièce de résistance? It's as if you're determined to transform what should have been an informative tutorial into a cryptic puzzle that only the most intrepid of gamers can hope to solve.
Bravo, dear creator, for crafting a masterpiece of misdirection and muddled instruction. Your video will undoubtedly stand the test of time, not as a beacon of enlightenment but as a monument to the art of confounding and confuzzling.
This really looks like Jorgvaskr from skyrim, however its awesome. I believe Jorgvaskr was a mead house but it was also a longhouse too
Really nice!
Thanks!
I love how you build with Hugin flying around. How annoying does that get?
Great build again mate.
very much annoying😂wacked him a couple of times till i gave up, started to appreciate his company now 🤣
@@Versaugh if you don't know, you can type "tutorialtoggle" on the command console(F5) that will disable Hugin.
@@theodorus_55 thanks for the tip, someone else told but still appreciate it 😀
how do u manage to build so high roof? My roof just falls apart when i get to the last beams
magnificient!
what did you do for the railing inside first floor on the stair close too the oven i srsly cant figure out what you did after using the stools
How come at 0:36 The front show two rows of 8 but when I count your build there is only 5 and with the places at the side that show 5 there is only 3?
very impressive and great build.
you have i new susciber.
My own builds look like shit, with your vids i try to get better ;)
wish you added what blocked you added to the start of it all cause did you use primarily two blocks or one block as well cause my is crooked for me
Be great to see all the other stuff not just the body
Gorgeous! By the way, 'Z' toggles fly in creative mode if you didn't want to have to jump or build ladders :)
yea lol, i wanted to jump some times.
Красивое строение, решил сделать его чуть больше на 2 блока в ширине, вроде всё нормально, разве очень жалко что не полное декорирование хотя бы частично было снято
cannot get the top row of Iron beams to snap correctly in the corners. just cant seem to get the posts on the ground placed correctly. Is there a button to ignore snap points or something?
I would like to see it even more detailed, like how the chimney was done, the balcony up top etc... Im new to building so its kinda hard to do it ^^
Weathering a builders nightmare
what size blocks for the inital layout are you using?
I love the build but there's points where vital details weren't shown and I tried to replicate but its off and I can't find the fix. Someone please help me with my roof
ill give you 1/10 Stones for this build. I mean, i would give you 10/10 stones, but my stonechest is empty >.< GREAT WORK!
I like the new pieces but I just feel the dark pieces are too dark. They don't look like the match / fit with the other pieces.
Epic build as always!
I totally get you, when it was teased it looked brown, i would love to have brown option too.
When I hold shift nothing happens. I know it's supposed to help snap building pieces into place but it does nothing for me.
Anyone know why? I've only been playing Valheim for 40 hours but I can't figure out why it won't do anything for me.
At 00:43 there is an overview of how many stones you have on the foundation wall, but I only count 3 stone wall (2x1) on the right and left side and not 5, and also the same at the front, there you have written up 8 - 8 - 8 , but I can only see that you have used 5 - 8 - 5. Is it me who counts wrong or have you set up the wrong number? :) Apart from that, the building is just stunning and I will try to build it in my world if I get the foundation right :)
i made the same observation. Couldn´t get it to fit. The backer wall is 18, and the 3 shorter front walls are 8, that gives 24. After watching in very slow speed i countet the front wall 5+8+5. That make sense.
😅 you are so right, wow i thought i had it corrected, the front is 5-8-5 ths sides are 3-3-3 to make the half circle and the back is 18
i stared at that screen for 20 mins before reading the comments haha thanks for clearing it up!
I loved the part when he skipped how to do this one small thing and then i was left wondering how he did that and then my build ended up not being the same
lmao fr
Cool build man! I just built this with just regular wood but I am having an issue keeping the upstairs warm with low comfort. Any ideas to make it more homey would be appreciated
you can use a hanging brazier
Tidy base designs mate
This one was awesome, and I'm very happy to have build it in my world aswell. Got two question tho :P First, is it like the fire is to far away from the bed or have I somehow misplaced the fire? Second is how are you able to spawn in jackoturnip and place on that small table? I try but I are not allowed to move it or anything. You use a special mod for that?
awesomeness! for the upstairs i used the brazier for warmth if you are on the left or right corners of the build. for the jackoturnip i pressed F5--->type devcommands followed by debugmode---->exit it---->press letter B on keyboard to activate build without cost, when you use the hammer you should see the jackoturnip to be made under furniture, hope that helps!
I feel like the measurements at the beginning are off. How can the entrance foundation be longer than the window foundation and both of them be 8? And 8 what exactly? It seems like 8 2x1 stone walls, but if that's the case this doesn't line up the same
Do those beams on the ground with iron fence still get water damage over time?
yea, but with the iron fence when they change you get nice aged combination.. hmmm i should show that next time.
This is kinda the style I want to try and build on the commentary server :)
This is one of the best looking build out there, very creative. Unfortunately, it's so hard to copy without more details. Some of the designs are too complicated to copy from still shots.
Thank you! 😊, if you want you can jump in my discord and download the world and look at it too, i could only capture the basic structure so person can have a basic blueprint to maybe make their own sorry.
@@Versaugh well that makes more sense, I'll hop into your discord. Thanks, mate!
@@Versaugh Extremely interested in building this.. However with all the missed steps... I can't even get 3 minutes in and having no idea what you did to make it look like that. Might I suggest as I have seen some people do. Record demolishing section by section. Then play it in reverse to show the "Building" process.
daammmn you ..what a great build..mine always looks like abarn,,that siad it is fubctional..but looks like abran..sooob..lol
and my typing really sucked there
hey np appreciate your thoughts 😁 well just practice and pick out some of my methods i am sure you will get better😉
For some odd reason, I've build the stone foundation as you've shown but when I go to line up the 26 degree beams at the front, they don't align at the top.
There is a pin message with the corrected dimensions. that may be the issue.
@@Versaugh I saw your corrected dimensions, that's start I based the foundation off of.
Has anyone figured out the ridge/top? I swear I'm dead on, but it's coming up short.
i have made this build public and free for difficulty of recreating, here is a link u can download the map and review it. sorry for the issue as this was my old video format www.patreon.com/posts/my-version-56460487
does anyone know why when i try to make the stone on the beams the stone just breaks and wont do the same thing thats happening in the video??
Same thing happened to me, make sure you use iron beams and the stone needs to be on the beam itself and not on the stone otherwise it'll just break.
the side of the foundation, its 3 pieces, not 5 right? and the enterance foundation is 5 on either side and 8 on the extended part, not all 8?
beautiful longhouse, but could you measure in blocks, not meters, I spent an hour on the stones at the beginning
How did you get fire warmth to the bed areas? The heart’s warmth radius doesn’t extend out to them
Hanging brazier
Do you in case the blue torches with crystal walls and then the dark fine wood design pieces or just the wood? Love those
just the wood, no crystals used :)
@@Versaugh sick man thanks for the video and reply I’m stealing some ideas from you. Haha I can pull some stuff off but I’m new to building in Valheim mostly a challenge run kinda guy but want to get some cool builds thanks again
@@Barewell you're welcome, have fun!
It was really painful trying to copy your build. but I got there in the end. Would be great if you could have put more detail into it.
i understands, and that is why i have change my video format for new videos i release, talking through the process.
I ignored the dimensions in the vid and counted the blocks. Saw the comment way too late. But the Iron posts have me stumped. How on earth cane I match them up in the returns? I am determined to finish this so we'll see. I agree with giving more detailed instructions would be helpful.
Just woawwww
me and my friend are so close to end and were doing this endgame base
all I got here is ... WOW!
Reminds me of jorrvaskr from skyrim in someway
rain will affect this building right?
Great house but you skip too many steps
If there is a next video of how you construct the 2nd floor it would be great :)
sorry but there wont be but i have made this build available to be downloaded from my discord, link in the description. :)
Very creative and well designed build, however there are a bunch of unexplained parts, and or edits that dont properly explain how a part was done. Equivalent to draw a circle, now the owl.
Thanks, sorry that you having issue with some section it is not a full tutorial but made to be a bit of a show case of the build process but i have pinned a comment for the corrected dimension if that is where you were having the issue, I have made my world available to be downloaded so that you can check it out aswell in the description 🙂
What kind of stone walls are you using? The largest or the medium one?
Medium
@@Versaugh Thanks!
