I've got the Glide 38.
Whilst I love the speed & stopping power, I hate the texture. It has a bumpy surface which provides a lot of feedback, you can really feel it when moving the mouse. It's hard to describe and something I never considered when using mousepads previously, probably because I'd only used cloths mousepads, never hybrids or hard pads.
Most people don't seem bothered by it so I certainly wouldn't consider it a deal breaker but nonetheless if you get a chance to use the mousepad before buying definitely take the time to try it first.

You should review the AMP500 too. I just got it and already had the GLIDE... The AMP is actually crazier than the glide. The surface actually feels like a hard pad.
