If you're having issues with noise + displacement in Octane 2020, try switching this setting off in Settings | C4D Shaders | "Use OSL for C4D noise /gradient."

At a certain distance, the leaf looks convincing, but when I bring the camera very close to the leaf, it doesn't look right. Is there a way to fix this? Also, it's quite surprising that the Albedo wasn't implemented using an image texture. Usually, when you download a texture, the image texture is included.

hi, i have two problems that i don't understand, the only noise i have in the octane node editor it has a black filter before the name or on yours there is not this filter, second problem is the node displacement you wrote input there and I wrote texture there, I followed everything properly and started again 3 times, all works until 9:16 or the effect does not react at all. could you tell me what i did wrong please, thanks
Hmmm.. Performing the same exact steps, but my terrain looks not that crisp and refined like yours)))).. Looks smudgy and have not much variety in relief shape.. Weird(..
TBH THIS IS BETTER THEN ANY OTHER TUTORIAL WHICH JUST TELLS TO CONNECT NODES

my displacement doesnt displace the texture. is there anything I'm doing wrong?

They ruined this technique a while ago I think Octane versions before 2020 still work
