    I have a Kifaru field quiver and it’s the best I’ve ever owned and I shoot at least 2-3 3d shoots a month.Yes by all means it’s worth the money. I used Kifaru field quiver for TAC in Oklahoma plus a KUIU 500 pack with water bladder and extra snacks.

    I was like yourself and disliked wrist/finger slings until a few months ago. 3 days into owning my V3X, my release let go at half draw and my bow hand was not holding onto the bow well enough....luckily the bow is ok, but I've had a wrist sling ever since. It used to bother me and now it gives me a warm n fuzzy feeling of insurance. I use the AAE wrist sling and its great, lets me shoot with a neutral front hand. The engage limb legs being on my bow when i dropped it was also a savior for the bow

    Just starting shooting 3-4 months ago and I don’t use any wrist or finger sling. I hate something touching my hand. Haven’t even come close to dropping my bow. I’m shooting the Mathews Phase4. Absolutely love that bow

    Just take some D loop material and make a loose-fitting wrist sling. Finger sling I have to put on my middle finger and rotate it out and away from the bow otherwise I can’t stand it.

    Can you make a video for dummies on how to make a site tape from scratch? I went up to 600 grains this year and can't find a site tape to match up I'm assuming it's slowed my feet per second way down even on a 70 lb bow.

      Thats a pretty heavy arrow. I bet the HHA Sight tapes have something that will fit that weight arrow

    What sight marks on the app did you pick for the HHA sight. I have the tetra version?

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  2 роки тому

      My 50 yard (floating pin) is my Zero. Walk back shooting is how I settled on 75 as my ‘100 yard pin’. The app auto generates the yardages in between based on some other factors

    • @jordandaniels1861
      @jordandaniels1861 2 роки тому +1

      @@jeffcordero_ in the sight section when setting the app up did you pick though cause I don’t see HHA listed unless I’m reading it wrong. I have a single pin version sight, so I’m set at 20 then slide from there

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  2 роки тому

      @@jordandaniels1861 ohh I understand what your asking now. No I used the generic “8 click” sight. This really only matters if your using the app for a sight that had clicks on the sight bar like a surelock target sight. Since the HHA is a free floating sight wheel none of that really applies, except for the left and rights. The calibration of Setup marks and the yardages you assign to them will scale correctly.
      In some target applications you can not have visible sight tapes on your sight bars, so guys will use an app like this or have a cover that goes over the sight tapes.

    Can you explain what the "marks" are? You said you were shooting 70yds but dialing to 29.1. Is that a sight tape that you have on there? So you're turning to 29 yards to shoot 70 yards? I'm not understanding this part. I just downloaded Archers Mark and want to learn how to use it.

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  Рік тому +1

      For archers advantage I find it easiest to shot your 20 in and then shoot let’s say 70 and measure the distance between them. Go into the program, set up your bow and under the sight tab you can enter your sight in numbers. Put 0 for your 20 and whatever your measurement (2 inches let’s say) is for the other number (70 in this case, you fill that part in).

    do not buy the kifaru quiver, I had one liked it the intent was the use it for hunting however I didn't want to strap quiver to the outside so I could use broadheads. there is another option out there that's better built better storage and I can't for the life of me remember the name. I want to say it was like a wolf pack or something like that.

    • @caninphx
      @caninphx 2 роки тому +1

      called the alpha pack. nothing against the kifaru, I just think you're paying way too much for what you're getting plus I find it dumps arrows everywhere

    • @caninphx
      @caninphx 2 роки тому +1

      @@jeffcordero_ check them both out if you can. I also see a use for the alpha pack on a hunt as well. drop your pack to be a bit stealthier and go. just be a leg bag or haver sack(think that's what it's called) carrying your essentials, license, snacks, water , kill kit. more mobile, less bulk. then use it at the range/etc.
      another option is a day bag I switched to using a kifaru shape charge as my range bag. Put in a water bladder sleeve on the internal molle straps, added a ajb pocket quiver(can be found in Etsy) to hold a few extra arrows. easily carries lunch/snacks, extra clothing/etc and toys)accessories for the dog as she goes everywhere I go. Love that day bag, just waiting on my hip belt to come in it, iot shipped without it and now they are moving so it's a bit delayed it seems.
      One draw back I have with the bag is I wish it breathed a bit better on the back like an osprey or something, id like t I'd give it a 9/10, great day bag for up to 30lbs, anything more I'd like a better frame system in that day pack.
