Thank you Nikos for another excellent video. I love phasers and univibe on electric guitar. I use just the tiniest bit of chorus on an acoustic guitar when I want to emulate the sounds of Taj Mahal or David Lindley. And, I use an MXR Phase 100 to emulate Keith Richard's "Some Girls" and "Tattoo You" sounds. I like to describe the sound of flangers as swishy, phasers as swirly and univibe as syrupy. Chorus is, well, chorusy. lol.
I laughed when the guitars vibrato/trem bar was used when demonstrating what chorus sounds like. I could see that being very confusing/misleading to the untrained ear and more beginner players.
This is pretty cool. Starting out on guitar in the late 70’s I became infatuated with pedal effects. Mostly because I sucked and found cover underneath them. A distortion pedal was always a first pedal and as I got better, I got every pedal mentioned here. Always trying to figure out what pedals the rock stars were using, and playing with the controls until I could decently copy the sounds I was hearing. After a while I got tired of effects and wanted to play clean and dry, which is much harder. Then I could sneak in very subtle effects without it sounding artificial. Nowadays, extreme effects aren’t popular but the distortion pedal is still a necessity for that crunch. I suppose lots of us started out on pedals and went back and forth as our playing got more sophisticated, always hoping for that perfect tone with hopefully little help except what was already in the amp. Great video!

Exactly what I thought and I switched off after 2:41.

Great video!
That's really nice
Thanks so much
great, useful video. thank you :)
Glad it was helpful!
You missed - Univibe and Leslie effects.
Stereo panning added to the chorus / phase effect. That’s basically it.
EVERY boy likes a bit of flange! ;oP
This seems like a very odd video coming from Premier Guitar.
Awful video suggestions during the explanations. Takes off your attention completely of the main points.
Ya this board sounds good with fender amplification 🎸🎛🔈🦋
My peddle board sounds like this too. 🎸🎛🔈
