I must point out that we sadly lost the actor who played Young Bulk in the Alien Rangers storyline: Cody Slaton. He was 36 years old. That's a pretty young age. Rito's voice actor, Bob Papenbrook (who also voiced Deviot in Lost Galaxy), is also dead (has been for 13 years). The man also voiced some other monsters throughout the series, but was mostly uncredited. R.I.P. Cody Slaton and Bob Papenbrook.

Wow. I really underestimated how GOOD season 3 of MMPR actually is. It had several running story arcs, the stakes were constantly raised, there was ALWAYS the constant fear of the rangers actually being crippled, if not outright be DESTROYED. It's sad how people didn't really like this season much. Because there are a lot of good things to like here.
If you ignore the part with Alien Rangers it was pretty much solid season. But in my opinion they tried to cover too much stuff in such a short time. They were changing the zords like gloves...
20:50 If I had to lend a theory to Lord Zedd being in love with Rita and why he got rid of her when he arrived it would just be that he was simply upset that someone he did have affection for wasn't living up to their status as Empress of Evil and saw her as weak and not worthy of said affection so he castes her aside and tried with someone else who he thought could replace her, possibly choosing Kimberly since she was a ranger, it could lead to a more powerful ally and land a devastating blow to the side of good, etc. but after Rita returned and he fell under the affects of the Potion, Zedd couldn't fight the affects but was aware of his surroundings and after seeing the feats he and Rita accomplished together it reignited that evil spark of affection he had for Rita Thus when Goldar tried to undo the love potion it didn't work since even without it Zedd had already truly fallen in love with Rita by that point since he sees the potential they can do as a team. This whole subplot kind of digs up the age old question of how effective the villains would be if they didn't bicker or backstab each other and actually worked together and answers. Which also sort of lightly foreshadows the Alliance of Evil we'd see in PR: In Space
I think the Aquetion rangers can't breathe air, so when on dry land, they use alien technology or some kind of technique to keep water in their respiratory systems, allowing them to breathe on land. This can also explain why they constantly need to go back to water, not only to rehydrate, but to also change their breathing water.
I think Bulk and Skull's dream of being heroes and admiration for the Power Rangers are their most telling features, and even though they've had those traits since being bullies, as they grow and come to understand what those worthy of their admiration are actually like and what it means to be a hero they change. That said, even when they were bullies, they weren't EVIL. (If anyone watches anime you could actually see them as Bakugo but instead of geniuses they're idiots)

Have you ever noticed? When Titanus is used to form Shogun Ultrazord, there is actually a piece of Dragonzord in his front side (Dragonzord bright belly!)
Yeah, it's clear that Titanus is not from the same Sentai season, and they basically just reused clips of Titanus from the Zyuranger footage and used the Bandai Titanus toy (along with Dragonzord's chestpiece) for the Ninja/Shogun Ultrazord formations. That's also why the White Shogunzord inexplicably turns pink when the Shogun Ultrazord assembles. Bandai already had their MMPR toys in production before Season 3, and they made the curious choice of turning the White Shogunzord into the Pink Shogunzord. I heard that it was either an attempt to keep the toys themed to the MMPR color scheme so all of the Rangers were represented in some capacity or to avoid spoilers. Hell, was Saban so cheap that they couldn't even bother to get the Sentai toys shipped over from Japan and use those to film with?
Eh, I disagree. If the Grid saved the memories of the Rangers, and Tanya DID become a Ranger, it is possible, however unlikely, that she remembered her past and got to live in America. Also, if certain reality-warping fiction has taught me anything, the subject will gain the ‘new’ memories at some point, often in dreams.
@@thegreyjedi2372 Aisha should have returned back to normal angel grove. I didnt like the time travel story line sending someone else like tanya to the future.. I would have liked to seen Aisha leave saying goodbye to her friends properly even if it was young Aisha. The Tanya backstory I would have preferred to have been different.
I think of it more as in the new timeline, Aisha moved away and Tanya moved to Angel Grove to take her place, but both retained their memories of the Alien Rangers saga. Who knows? If we're lucky, Hasbro will explain it. They've been pretty good about resolving loose plot threads so far.
Yeah but if you recall that earlier in the season Billy created an remote control device for the Ninja Zords while the Falcon Zord was still with Rita and Zedd. and later used it on the Falcon Zord in Hogday Afternoon. As for Ninja Steel it's possible that despite the coin becoming dust in the Alien Rangers mini series that somehow Tommy got an replacement coin for the Master Morpher and it in turned had access to the Falcon Zord. Then again said morpher could just had the power from the remains of the coin but still have enough power left over to reactivate the Falcon Zord.
Everytime I watch master vile and the metallic armor I keep thinking it’s the finale like I know the Alien rangers are introduced and the zeo crystal is used to set up the next season but I swear everytime I watch this episode I keep thinking it’s the finale because they go all out in this episode and master vile feels like the final boss I don’t know if this was a planned finale but if it was I would’ve been fine with it but it didn’t and to contradict myself I’m happy it wasn’t because then I wouldn’t have found out about lightspeed rescue at age 4

@Logical Overdrive You start your comment by saying no, as in you're saying it's not surreal as if surreal was a bad thing and then proceed to say it's wonderful, as if wonderful is somehow better than surreal
The Boom comics revealed Rita had a human mother named Fienna. Whether this means Rito was once human but became undead, or was spit out of an egg, I'm not sure...
Heres a crazy idea for the turbo rangers you know how Justin when he morphs he changes size and his age doesn’t affect his ability to morph so what if thats a feature that zordon added to the first genuinely created power rangers by zordon and potentially billie because of this hole time reversal plot that basically disabled the mighty morphing power rangers so when creating the turbo rangers he had this potential flaw in mind
I’ve noticed a flaw with one of the Globbers forms that wasn’t mentioned, the head appears to have the Alien ranger helmets on it, obviously a hold over from Kakuranger, interesting given the Alien Ranger rangers haven’t been introduced yet
Your documentary videos in my opinion are more entertaining and intersting than the show itself. I got out of Power Rangers nearly 20 years ago, but I have do still have fond memories of seasons 2 and 3. I was too young for season 1, so I don't really have many memories of it. I have absolutely no memory of anything beyond In Space because I never watched anything beyond that, other than your videos.
One thing I had to say about the so-called love potion that Rita gave to Zedd is that the potion to make him fall in love with her more so it might have actually show his true feelings for her at least that's what I think the potion actually did but this is just me speculating on it
It makes sense that it was age manipulation due to the spell cause when Kat went on her Zeo quest she ran into her teenage and elderly self when obtaining the pink Zeo crystal. And which also keeps the narrative of this season kinda makes sense besides the plot holes plaguing this season.
Them being turned to kids could be the closest thing to Power Rangers having The Snap from Avengers: Infinity War and them going back in time to collect the crystals is Endgame.
Now that i see this video i like how in the anniversary episode of super ninja steel we got the answer to whether the ninja zords were destroyed in season 3 of mmpr
Here's a question. If Billy is back to his regular age, why didn't he just grab his power coin, morph, and fight Goldar and Rito? I bet his powers would work at that point, but nah. We need an excuse why Billy didn't think of that idea.
I feel like that still wouldn't have worked and chances are, he still would've gotten his ass kicked, lose the coin in the process and then his coin would be destroyed in the process so there you go. They would've wasted time and money doing something that was gonna happen if he wasn't able to get his coin back in time.
I guess the ninjazords aren't tied to the ninja coins, since they use the falconzord after the coin has been destroyed. Or time travel bs is why they can still use it when the coin is literally dust.
I almost thought tje ShogunZords would be linked to the Aquitian Rangers' powers the same way the NinjaZords were linked to the Morphin team and that's why they could summon them in their chronologically dormant state. But then you've gotta wonder why a fleet of powerful zords that the Alien Rangers could've probably used at any time over the last several thousand years would be stranded on a completely different planet. The only answer that fits came from Ishizu Ishtar from YGOTAS: "Because ...shut up!"
The Alien Rangers should have just been a previous Ninja Rangerrs with ties to Ninjor as well as get referenced to in subsequent Ninja/Samurai themed series like Ninja Storm, Ninja Steel and Samurai (but hey hindsight is 20/20) right?
I have my own theory that ties Ninjor to the seasons Ninja Storm, Samurai/Super and Ninja Steel/Super. The theory is that Ninjor created the Wind and Thunder Ninja Academys (from Ninja Storm), even the Ninja Nexus Prism (from Ninja Steel/Super) and also met and fought with the Ancient Samurai Rangers and even possibly the Shogun Rangers (from Samurai/Super)
They could have been explained that the alien rangers were the ones who had the shogun zords and either lost them or got upgrades. Plus, would have been nice if the alien ranger suits went with the original power rangers.
Idk but I guess it involves him showing clips of their content without permission or something like that. Fair use to them is different compared to our definition.
Let me get this straight Actor was fired for being gay, and his character was sent off because he was too busy having a heterosexual relationship? Doesn't that smell a bit like a spiteful bite?
I always wondered, what happened to people who were younger than the time rewind? Like if someone was four years old when time rewound five years, did they just stop existing? Hell what about people who had died in the meantime, did they come back to life?
9:03 You think we'd have to put up with a whole season of that, if Hasbro had gone with the Kyuranger adaptation plans? Or do you think Hasbro would've handwaved or retconned it away?
Why would they have those effects? And handwaved or retconned how exactly? In either case we might not see it since Cosmic Fury isn't using the Kyuranger suits.
I would like to know a few things from a behind-the-scenes perspective: 1. Why did the writers write the alien ranger series? Did the main actors want a vacation? 2. Why was David Yost in the alien ranger series and not the other actors? 3. Why did Karan Ashley leave the show?
Most likely they were preparing for doing the zeo stuff for the first 2 and for the third she felt that she couldn’t handle the rapid pace of production for power rangers remeber this is a show that had new episodes airing daily rather than weekly
Ever notice that we don't consider the White Alien Ranger as the first ever female leader of a team? Also the Yellow Alien ranger was the first male yellow ranger. I think we should be thinking about these things xD even if it's a mini series.
When you think about it, Bulk and Skull end up getting the most character development across the Mighty Morphin seasons despite the show not even being about them.
You would think that Ninjor would have been in the Alien Rangers saga since they are from the same Sentai, Kakuranger buuut nope. Also the globber Monster morphed it's head into the Alien Rangers helmets
5:19 so obviously the trihead design here uses the Kakuranger helmets but I like the context here that its sort of an amalgamation of the rangers ninjor and the globber even if the resemblance to the Alien Rangers makes it ironic.
How would time traveling to the past protect the crystal? If its the same timeline the crystal will still show up in the new present anyway. The future on the other hand would effectively erase it.
Looking at how the Aqua rangers are treated as a result of this, I rather have them come from a ninja planet than...whatever that is in the final release.
Wasn’t the kid that plays young Rocky a MACO at the end of season 3 of Enterprise? Think he got stabbed and fell down the middle of the Xindi weapon...
I'm surprised they didn't play "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" during Master Vile's surreal party, and seeing how they used the Season 1 Power Coins...geez, Saban must have been really rushing on this episode.

And they also took her away from her family.
@@jackjackson3769 About that, does anyone knew why the actress left? I did resarch but couldn't find anything.
I was kinda irritated that Aisha didn't get the proper send off that was expected cause Aisha was one of my favorite yellow rangers but symantec.
@ 20:06 as of Ninja Steel’s “Dimensions in Danger” apparently the Ninja Zords may be accessible (i.e. Tommy with the Falconzord)
Maybe. It is somehow possible that the Falcon Zord survived or was rebuilt. Though technically, it did reappear in the Hydro Hog fight.
Zedd x Rita Forever - May their terrifying love power their magicks for many timelines to come!
4:21 No. This is wonderful. This is the kind of insane shit that makes me love this show. Like when lothor was having a party and zurgane started getting down
Surreal doesn't mean bad you know
@@Ashurman666 I didn't say that he said it was bad
@Logical Overdrive You start your comment by saying no, as in you're saying it's not surreal as if surreal was a bad thing and then proceed to say it's wonderful, as if wonderful is somehow better than surreal
@@Ashurman666 I'm not being negative! I'm just saying i like this weird shit!
that shimmy by rita's brother and vile saying DANCE HUMANS DAAANCE cracked me tf uppp
Wait, if Master Vile creates entities by throwing up eggs that hatch into powerful monsters, does that mean that's how Rita and/or Rito were born?
The Boom comics revealed Rita had a human mother named Fienna. Whether this means Rito was once human but became undead, or was spit out of an egg, I'm not sure...
@@johnnygyro2295 that explains when the Z-wave struck her, she turned fully human
Master Vile doing a Demon King Piccolo impression
"That's it! I'm starting work on Alpha 6" I laughed hard at that
Also the bit at 13:06 - 13:26
Heres a crazy idea for the turbo rangers you know how Justin when he morphs he changes size and his age doesn’t affect his ability to morph so what if thats a feature that zordon added to the first genuinely created power rangers by zordon and potentially billie because of this hole time reversal plot that basically disabled the mighty morphing power rangers so when creating the turbo rangers he had this potential flaw in mind
I love this
I’ve noticed a flaw with one of the Globbers forms that wasn’t mentioned, the head appears to have the Alien ranger helmets on it, obviously a hold over from Kakuranger, interesting given the Alien Ranger rangers haven’t been introduced yet
I’m sorry you have to keep uploading HOPR. Keep at it!
One thing I had to say about the so-called love potion that Rita gave to Zedd is that the potion to make him fall in love with her more so it might have actually show his true feelings for her at least that's what I think the potion actually did but this is just me speculating on it
I think during most of season 2 it was the work of the potion but by the time the season ended and going into season 3 Zedd truly loved Rita.
It makes sense that it was age manipulation due to the spell cause when Kat went on her Zeo quest she ran into her teenage and elderly self when obtaining the pink Zeo crystal. And which also keeps the narrative of this season kinda makes sense besides the plot holes plaguing this season.
I watched the Alien Ranger saga yesterday, and I have to admit, I kind of liked it. It was neat seeing Billy have to step up, and act as a leader.
Which kinda foreshadowed Cosmic Fury with Billy being the mentor to those rangers and at the very least the unofficial co leader with Amelia.
Dance humans daaaance looool that surreal moment was gold!
Party like there's no tomorrow... because there's not!
Them being turned to kids could be the closest thing to Power Rangers having The Snap from Avengers: Infinity War and them going back in time to collect the crystals is Endgame.
TRUE
6:17 This is one of my favorite Bulk and Skull moment
Blah blah blah heart of the cards. Me: I get that reference lol.
You redoing this video but adding to it is awesome
I guess the ninjazords aren't tied to the ninja coins, since they use the falconzord after the coin has been destroyed. Or time travel bs is why they can still use it when the coin is literally dust.
Man, these kids were complete jerks to fool Bulk and Skull into thinking that they were drowning.
That's just something you don't do.
5:19 The Alien rangers helmets oh the sentai footage
Maybe Ninjor created the Prism.
They could have been explained that the alien rangers were the ones who had the shogun zords and either lost them or got upgrades. Plus, would have been nice if the alien ranger suits went with the original power rangers.
"THAT DOES NOT EVEN BEGIN TO MAKE SENSE IN THE SLIGHTEST" lmao
RIP Tommy Oliver, Jason David Frank
Why do they keep taking these videos down? They bring a lot of interest into the series and people love them.
Idk but I guess it involves him showing clips of their content without permission or something like that. Fair use to them is different compared to our definition.
No human being actually is reviewing this or cares. It is entirely automatic.
basically one word money.
I don't know why but I adore Vile's little half shades
Let me get this straight
Actor was fired for being gay, and his character was sent off because he was too busy having a heterosexual relationship? Doesn't that smell a bit like a spiteful bite?
Yost left of his own volition because he was being harrased. But that is a good point you make about the spite
the 90's were wild tho! *insert sad face*
it was the 90s back then being gay wasn't as "accepted" as it is today. blame the Christians for that
Not half as spiteful as making Sulu gay just because George Takei was.
Why are you bringing it up here instead of Zeo?
I always wondered, what happened to people who were younger than the time rewind? Like if someone was four years old when time rewound five years, did they just stop existing? Hell what about people who had died in the meantime, did they come back to life?
21:42 Is NO ONE going to mention how freakin JACKED the kid in the green & white bathing suit is?!? I mean JESUS!!
How many times have you needed to reupload a History of Power Rangers video because of some bullshit copyright issue?
Omnicidal Clown Far too complex for you to understand & There’s a simple explanation for this.
Too many times.
R+1
Yes. It's because UA-cam's copyright policies are beyond C'thullu's comprehension. _eyeroll_
Omnicidal Clown Saban's gone so why is this still happening?
Considering the Alien Rangers being water breathers, and the gurgaly voices, i hereby dub them....SEA DEVIL RANGERS
In other words Master Ville’s Spell didn’t move the world threw time, he moved time threw the world.
What was disrespectful was they sent her to Africa now that I’m older it’s insulting smh 🤦🏾♂️
Alpha 5: I'm afraid so Zordon, hehe
Dammit Moxxie I just bought those heels!
I loved the side video The Good, the Bad, and the Stupid, which was how Bulk and Skull see things at this point.
Okay, this quote "Pure Evil," where is he from? I tried google fu but to no avail.

@@AT4W Thank you.
I would like to know a few things from a behind-the-scenes perspective:
With the BS copyright claims I guess we'll be lucky to see in space and forward on this channel I reckon
Young Aisha is Spirit from the TV show “One on One”
So master vile has basically turned into king piccolo, okay
Wait, Master Vile vomits up eggs to create evil minions... Is he a Namekian?!
NO........He's obviously a yoshi
0:56 Huh, did not know that Master Vile was a namekian, neat
Ever notice that we don't consider the White Alien Ranger as the first ever female leader of a team? Also the Yellow Alien ranger was the first male yellow ranger. I think we should be thinking about these things xD even if it's a mini series.
As much as I love Jen, Delphine is the first female leader. Not Jen. I love Dustin but Korkus is the first male yellow Rangers
@@gokairedwillcipher Agreed.
9:22 why does Delphine call her team the alien rangers? By her perspective, the earth team are the aliens
I guess the Alien Rangers were a team who defended several planets as opposed to Aquitar.
Dunno, but they tended to alternate between calling themselves Alien Rangers and Aquitian Rangers.
Zedd using the Zeo Crystal to power Serpentera wouldve been a good arc
Little kid Rocky has the sweetest mullet. Ever
I miss the SFX debris style music video set to Go Go Power Rangers. Curse you ContentID!
8:10 That’s it I’m starting work on Alpha 6
When you think about it, Bulk and Skull end up getting the most character development across the Mighty Morphin seasons despite the show not even being about them.
You would think that Ninjor would have been in the Alien Rangers saga since they are from the same Sentai, Kakuranger buuut nope. Also the globber Monster morphed it's head into the Alien Rangers helmets
Power rangers made a time paradox
5:19 so obviously the trihead design here uses the Kakuranger helmets but I like the context here that its sort of an amalgamation of the rangers ninjor and the globber even if the resemblance to the Alien Rangers makes it ironic.
How would time traveling to the past protect the crystal? If its the same timeline the crystal will still show up in the new present anyway.
The future on the other hand would effectively erase it.
2:01 Such disrespect for Mayor Carrington! She's the best mayor ever, right after NYC's Mayor DiBlasio! 🤣🤣🤣💩
Looking at how the Aqua rangers are treated as a result of this, I rather have them come from a ninja planet than...whatever that is in the final release.
Lt stone with bull and skull had a similar vibe to mash Henry Blake with trapper and Hawkeye.
So French Stewart/Harry S. Solomon from 3rd Rock from the Sun is basically Skull?
Wasn’t the kid that plays young Rocky a MACO at the end of season 3 of Enterprise? Think he got stabbed and fell down the middle of the Xindi weapon...
Wait... why did the Aquatar Rangers come help the Earth Rangers? What was in it for them?
...To help them out a bit and keep a world from falling? The Rangers did the same thing with Dex when Alpha was concerned about Edinoi.
@@AT4W I'm joking of course. ;^)
