I’m thankful the algorithm brought me here, I’m a huge mini fan, sadly lost my last project In the divorce, but I still read all the magazines, and hopefully one day I’ll have my 7th mini!

This is going to be great. I know you say it won't be a fast build ("over the next year or so"), but the more you can do to maintain regular momentum with the video uploads of technical content the better. Thank you for embarking on this and sharing for all of us to see!

I was hoping for a Van but then I am biased.......I look forward to anything you guys do.
We did look at vans too. Maybe a future project :)
Cracking project..... I've got a mk2 that was a 998 auto, now 1330 s block etc, remote s ratio box with 3.2fd, on 10 inch rose petals with alloy 4 pots, fully adjustable dry suspension..... rc40, standard interior apart from mk2.5 mx5 leather seats, on a custom bracket so the floors don't bend, the weight is spread between the tunnel and seatbelt mounts .....
Shame yt don't let you post pictures......

Top stuff, love me minis but couldnt live with one nowaday, them damn ball joints lol.
They're ok - at least you can rebuild them at home unlike the modern stuff that goes in the bin!

Just saw this project 63 and realize that it is about a 61 Morris.
I have a 61 Morris Traveller that came from estate.
Not sure what I plan on doing with the rebuilt but leaning toward upgrade to "A" to 998 and disc brakes.
Would like to exchange any information that you have,
I believe this Morris is very early model as gas filler is on drivers side ( LHD) as imported to Vancouver BC.
Previous owner had a Austin Countryman estate and a sedan, and are now used as yard art!!!!!
All are same Gray colour.
Can send some pics if you are interested
The red countryman is a '69 that i did but it was a shell and 7 boxes of parts, that I started with 3 years ago!

Project Binky is almost done, now Steve starts with a rebuild.
