First off I would like to say you've earned yourself a new sub. I went into this video thinking that my paindrome would be the cream of the crop handcannon for me.... but you've convinced me that TLFB is where is at. Thanks for the work you put into comparing two of my favorite guns, great video!!!
Oh dang thank you very much for the kind words & subscription, I appreciate it a lot! It was really fun to make this one. Aiming to do more in the future :)
Tbf i dont think that they really compete with each other that much bcs they are in different slots and the final choice should be made based on special of your choice
Not a nightfall player at all and i really struggle because of that I have godroll judgement, good fatebringer (not a raider either) and godroll dire promise, but my favourite sniper is my op shot+snapshot eye of sol
I would personally gladly use both fb and palindrome Currently i pretty much only use duality and adored (which i dont like at all, just a much worse version of my beloved), but a decent palindrome wouldve let me run riis and eye
This is the most well thought-out and put-together weapon review/comparison I’ve ever watched! Thanks for all the research and hard work you put into it. Each rationale for each perk is a video in itself. Awesome job sir
At the end of the day, use what you enjoy! But I know I’ll be using a fatebringer once I get the god roll. Spent 400 spoils last night and didn’t get it yet. Also I misspelled “with” in the end screen title card :P
Following up on my previous comment, while thinking outside the box and notably understanding the vast difference in stability Performance on Console, here we go. Your comment on Opening Shot is understandable and I respect your understanding on BLOOM by the 3rd Shot while showing the IMAGES, however, Opening Shot negates this for the 1st Shot and technically a Weapon with Opening Shot the 2nd Shot follow up Shot is the like the 1st Shot shown on the IMAGE and you won’t see the bloom that is depicted in the 3rd IMAGE until nearly the 4th or 5th Shot. Something to think about.
@Christopher Jacobs okay that’s actually very interesting, hadn’t thought about it that way! I would say that probably makes it tied with Eye Of The Storm. Avoiding the bloom for a bit longer is really nice
I've spent around 3000 spoils so far and have only gotten 4/5 rolls so far. I will only accept a 5/5 on such an easily farmable gun but I'm starting to go insane.
Castle sent me ;) this production value is nuts though and your recommendations and reasons for them are extremely well laid out. Excellent video, going to rethink opening shot being the godroll on my timelost fatebringer!
Tried both god rolls out in high tier pvp. They’re very alike, at the end of the day it’s down to preference. Although, most people will like Pali more because of the better hit registration.
Going through the comments, I always notice that well thought out, rationale-heavy videos seem to bring out respectful debate and discussion amongst the commenters. Almost like it removes the toxic folks or convinces them to behave otherwise, lol
Hahaha this is so true, there’s still some knuckleheads out there, but far fewer in long videos which is great! Allows the rest of us to enjoy the discussion
I got recommended here by Castle and I must say: he didn’t lay about the quality of the content. Very nice indeed! Although I disagree on some of the points (e.g. that tac mag makes it not a god roll or the extended barrel discussion) because I value things differently here on console, yet it was an excellent point of reference! Edit: rewatched it for the handeling part. Very interesting indeed. Maybe I have to go back on the extended barrel thing. Got to get me a new TLFB after all. Yet, I am gonna miss the 100 recoil direction.
Thanks for stopping by! And yeah that is totally fair, I should’ve mentioned I am on PC so that definitely affects my opinion, and higher stability/better recoil direction might be the best play for console/controller. I only switched to MnK ~year ago so I can definitely relate to my controller brothers out there
Great video. Liked and subscribed. But - there is one thing you overlooked. A lot of people have been saying that Fatebringer feels off. It’s harder to hit headshots with it. There was speculation that it had a strange recoil pattern or that EP did something weird to hit boxes , but that clearly isn’t the case. In fact, the reason why Fatebringer feels bad for some people is the gun model itself. It has a prominent laser sight on the left side. Whenever you fire, the laser sight rises and blocks your line of sight to the target. It makes it much harder to track targets and land follow up shots. Not a deal breaker, but certainly a disadvantage. It’s really noticeable for me. O love Fatebringer, but it feels worse than Austringer or Pali for this reason.
Good point, I should’ve spent a bit more time on that because it is certainly an issue for a lot of people in the community. And thank you so much for the sub!
I noticed this as well when I first started using this gun but after using a little and getting some better rolls, it is a non issue. But definitely a learning curve.
swap speed caps out at 24 frames or is it 26? either way most weapons can get very close to this with double dexterity and like one handling perk like quick draw quick charge threat detector etc, but with base 50 handling double quick access double dexterity any two weapons can get 32 frames thats stow and ready the difference between 24 and 32 in time is 0.266, so 0.8 and 1.033 1/5 of a second still very impactful considering a 150 was only .07 faster than a 140 and that mattered a-lot two weapons at 100 handling is 26 frames after a certain point adding more handling when you have modifiers becomes a waste really still helps with ads but even that gets boosted with targeting mods. with just double dex the ideal handling id say would be 80 if one weapon had less than 80 put double dex on that gun but if they both 80 put one on each. however with double quick access you can go 70 on both and get 26 27 frames and if you have a handling perk just put the handling the perk gives you somewhere else quick charge gives a weapon 25 or 30 handling put the extra points in range stability. modifiers are better the less handling-you have the more effective they are.
I got a Timelost last week with hammer forged, accurized, killing wind and eye of the storm with stability mw. I was a bit disappointed at first but glad I saw this video and it feels really good in the crucible.
Honestly straight to the point, making note of recoil and Stabilty cones as well as perk viability. I hope we see more of this soon, and you deserve a subscribe too.
I just wanted to point out that Adept Palindromes DO NOT drop with OFA selectable, only bottomless grief. If they did I would have stopped farming a long time ago....
Yeah, my mistake, when I saw that on d2gunsmith I just took it for granted but I didn’t realize. Sorry about that! Hope you get the roll you’re looking for soon.
This video was expert level in terms of editing, voice quality (you could definitely do voice acting if you want to) and information. Everything was laid out so perfectly. Subscription well earned
You did not skip over a single perk/perk combo. You did an AMAZING job being objective with stat combos instead of saying “just go range perks” like lots of other videos. Can’t wait to see what you post in the future!
Informative video. But i disagree on one thing. Given the dominance of long range special weapons in elimination modes, high-cal should get buffed. And not get explosive payload nerfed, which is more of a visual "flinch" anyway.
This is top tier content. Great stuff dude. Also, adept palindrome doesn’t guarantee one for all on the drop. That’s just the curated roll. The only think guaranteed is bottomless grief for all nightfall weapons, just like celerity for trials weapons. Just thought I’d mention it for people expecting their palindromes to drop with two guaranteed perks like time lost weapons even though I know no one cares about one for all in pvp
Thank you so much! And yes good point, I didn’t realize that due to d2gunsmith but fortunately OFA doesn’t affect its pvp rating. Bottomless grief rules! Thanks for watching :)
Hello Gjerda! Please do a video about exotic hand cannons! That would be amazing! After watching this review it makes every other one I’ve seen look so dry and shallow. Would love to see a deep dive into more weapons. Thanks!
Hi! Well thanks so much and that is a good idea, I think I will do more head to head comparisons like this, it was pretty fun and a lot of people liked it :)
you don't understand how helpful this video was for me when playing trials on cauldron in solo que. I brought my killing wind high impact reserve pali and chaperone and I slew out a ton of rounds. Using what you said about handling and using the right tool for the job kept popping up in my head as I played and it helped a TON. Thank you!
Excellent points all the way through. I agree that there should be competitive modes much more focused on raw gunplay but there needs to be an emphasis on ability targeted modes in order to "reduce" the skill gap in most modes. That being said, the idea of having a playlist emphasizing duel based, skill based gunplay is intriguing....
i was so excited for this vid and wasn’t disappointed. great content! i was kinda disappointed with my roll till i saw this video. fluted, accurized, explosive, eye of the storm. handling masterwork however☹️
2500 Subs? Wtf just happened? :D I remember when I told you that I can't wait to see you at tenthousands of subs and now it seems like your channel is (finally) getting the attention it deserves :D I'm so glad to see this! :D Congratulations and all the best to you Gjerda, keep up the great work!
Great video and insightful My only gripe is the lists of “special pairings” You make out like Fatebringer has the better options, maybe before the shotgun nerf I’d agree But nothing right now compares to Chaperone or Bastion except maybe Lord Of Wolves Eye Of Sol is comparable to all them snipers, as is succession. Riiswalker is arguably the best shotgun in the game that isn’t a slug I don’t know man I think you’ve got it backwards or it’s neck and neck here, it’s not a clear win for Fatebringer
@@Gjerda It probably boils down to personal preference on this one definitely, I’ve just been utterly clapped by someone using lord of wolves in comp so now I’m doubting myself haha! Another thing I should have mentioned, how do you feel timelost Fatebringer compares to other kinetic 140s like Ace Of Spades, Thorn etc? Because if you aren’t taking an exotic special like Felwinters, retold take, uzume etc.. You still taking the time lost Fatebringer or are you using an exotic?
I think it is easily as good as the exotic 140s because of its beefy stats, explosive payload and the ability to socket adept icarus. And good question, personally I really like slug shotguns these days and I think duality is extremely good right now, so I I’m pairing my fatebringer with duality
@@Gjerda Thanks man, I really appreciate you taking time to reply to me! I’ve subbed liked and shared your video to my clan! That’s a great point about adept icarus, I hadn’t thought of that. I think a lot of people (me included) see a gold exotic and automatically assume it’s better than all it’s legendary counterparts. Which isn’t always the case is it. That’s fair man, I do love Duality myself, I only started playing in season of the chosen after a long break and I’ve only just bought Duality and I’m currently working through the catalyst. I mainly use my palindrome (Smallbore - ricochet - QuickDraw- rangefinder) and it’s pretty much due to my obsession with Chaperone, but I am looking forward to getting a nice timelost Fatebringer to give that a run out, mine was not had frenzy and osmosis as the extra perks, I need to spend some spoils haha
Sure thing! And thank you so much, wow, very kind. Yeah adept icarus is huge, and best wishes with duality! I find it has very generous in air accuracy, more so than chappy, but after a kill chappy becomes god tier, of course
Listened to just the Fatebringer section and realized you are literally one of the most knowledgeable people of Destiny 2. So many truths I’ve seen scattered throughout random Reddit threads. Subbed and thank you!
hahaha fair enough and thank you so much! appreciate it :) tldr of the video is both of them are super good, and while I think fatebringer is better they are both extremely good choices
This is some Coolguy level analysis and enjoyablility for sure, and that's the highest award I can bestow on a detailed weapon review vid. Thanks so much, this will encourage me to get my own!
It’s interesting. I never considered either roll you mentioned to be even close to competitive, but after listening to this insane breakdown, I’m convinced that everything I thought I knew was wrong. Great video!
I have been playing destiny for over 3000 hours and I thought I knew everything there was to know, but then I watch this video and it teaches me 3 whole new things I didn't even think about?? definitely earned a sub
I only subscribed yesterday, this is the third video of yours I've seen. Your method of explaining and comparing is clear and concise. You sir, have just become my favorite technical D2 UA-camr
So happy after 25+ rolls for a fatebringer(timelost) my final 25 spoils got me the exact 5/5 godroll from this video. Thank god, now i can move on to a better hezens vengence.
This was one of, if not, THE BEST and most well put-together god roll video I’ve seen on UA-cam. The editing was insanely well done and all the graphics/charts were very well made and helped tremendously. I look forward to future videos and definitely subscribing.
Love the style and editing of this video. This is the sort of content I was looking for regarding Destiny 2, and I can't believe I'm just now discovering this channel. I loved this vid, and hope many more like this (Hopefully for PvE as well) come out in the future. Excellent in-depth work.
Wow thank you so much that is really wonderful to hear! I will keep it up. Not quite sure what to do next, but it’ll definitely be in my style like this one.
What a great comparison vid, very long but everything is here. Thanks for taking all that time to make this video. I hope you make more amazing content like this in the future :)
Dang that was long, but 1.5 speed for the win. However the way you presented the content was top shelf my friend, you deserve way more subs. Fantastic content great way to spend my lunch
Subbed for this video alone. Awesome layout and really informative. Would love more comparisons like this (eye of sol vs adored for example, multimach vs Shayura)
Adept Palindrome: Hammerforged Rifling / Ricochet Rounds / Quickdraw / Rangefinder / Reload MW (RIP) Timelost Fatebringer: Polygonal Rifling / Accurized Rounds / Rewind Rounds (obviously running EP) / Eye of the Storm / Handling MW Neither are perfect godrolls but probably the best RNGesus is going to do for me for awhile. I think they are both only missing a meter or so in optimal range so could be worse. Great comparison video by the way.
Excellent video dude 👍👍 I would like to add that with the way ammo economy is in PVP right now I guarantee nobody is having a gunfight with primaries at 30 plus metres
Couldn't agree more with the first statement someone else said. Earned a new sub from me as well. Love how well-rounded this review was. tbh, it was pretty much a complete, high-quality review of each of these guns separately and then comparing them after the fact. Super informative and lots of good information that new players might not know about. Fantastic vid, looking forward to more content
I can agree with the ease of farming for fatebringer, i literally got myself 30 palindromes and only 1 godroll and it was for PVE which i had no intent of using
What a small world! I matched you the other day in rumble and now here I am finding this video. New sub from me, fantastic vid and mark my words your content is gonna blow up
This has been on the watch list for a while now and I’m so disappointed in myself for making it wait so long. This is SUPER hepful informaton and, no doubt, took an incredible amount of work. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and experience with us
my roll has 69 stability and not 68, I will never financially recover from this I got mine with corkscrew (surprisingly good), accurized, explosive, firefly range mw. it's surprisingly really really good. wish I got eye of the storm but firefly does help a bit, you'd get enemies holding hands every once in a while, it splashes enemies nearby and faster reload helps a gun with 10 bullets only
God, what a video. +1 Sub for the sheer depth and expertise to discuss literally everything that can be considered when comparing these two guns. Thank you for such a fantastic video.
Great video. I’ve been waiting for people to address how great fluted barrel is. 70 handling paired with a ready and stow animation decrease (dexterity perks) feels almost like QuickDraw. Although you don’t need fluted if you’re running dragons shadow or ophidians. You’ve earned a sub.
I still prefer corkscrew that gives little of everything hammer forged isn't worth it since it only gives 0.7 meter one corkscrew even with rangefinder smallbore is very good as well
This video is unbelievably comprehensive and helpful! Thank you so much! With the launch of Festival of the Lost 2021 I would love to see a comparison of Jurassic Green and Darkest Before, both being energy 540 pulses.
dude. i jsut wanna appreciate the ammount of work you¨put into this video, its filled with great knowledge and im very happy to have found your channel. Amazing video very comprehensive.
I'm a new viewer and this video was stellar. You really come from the 3v3 consistency mindset which I prefer, and make your opinions known on why stuff like stability and handling matter more than just getting fullbore. Really appreciate teh content, and you have definitely earned my sub. P.S. doesn't hurt that this just validates the fact that I was right in thinking my TLFB was a god roll. Literally perk for perk your recommendations. It has been amazing paired with adept uzume.
Wow thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Yep, just saying “get high range” is so unhelpful and unrealistic imo. Congrats on the god roll :) enjoy that! Wish I had it!
Personally I love pairing energy weapons like CQC and Uzume, but the thin frame and solid sounds that the pali make, makes the gun feel so much more clean. Overall great video about two great guns.
@@Gjerda excellent vid bro, I’m gonna sub too, I got the Pali but no god roll still, but yeah uzume it’s a great combo for this hand cannon or the sudden death too
Not many people seem to realize outlaw is also pretty good on palindrome. I'd even go as far to say it's better than killing wind because of how slow the palindrome reload speed is and how small of a magazine it has.
You must also remember that hand cannon reloaders exist on arm pieces which can offer a valuable perk slot open such as killing wind like you mentioned.
I mean honestly it just comes down to which fits into your build Energy based special weapon? Fatebringer Kinetic special? Palindrome seems kinda easy to me
I think you're drastically underselling the range on Pali. Speaking from personal experience, one thing Palindrome lets me do is lock down more lanes. There are plenty of maps with lanes where people with scout rifles or pulse rifles will out-TTK you quite easily because on most 140s, damage falloff starts before you reach the end of those lanes, but a well-rolled Rangefinder Palindrome can compete with them on their own terms. Combined with the flinch from High-Caliber Rounds, which, while less than Explosive Payload, still makes it extremely effective in those situations, they can throw off lower-TTK guns like high-impact pulses and just out-TTK a fair number of other ranged weapons. Based on my own reading, Explosive Payload adds less than a meter of three-crit range to most 140s (And has minimal effect on the gun's aim assist-related stats), so Fatebringer still won't quite compete as effectively in this department, especially against Palindromes which manage a good balance of stability and range, with damage falloff potentially _starting_ at 35 meters in some cases (Over 36 if you completely abandon stability and handling and roll Full Bore, but I don't recommend this when Smallbore loses only about a meter of range and adds enough stability to put the gun at 68), meaning it can still three-crit at a couple of more meters. (This allowed it to compete effectively against most 120s before they were nerfed.) So while Fatebringer has a lot of things going for it, an RF Palindrome gives you tactical options no other 140 can offer you, and the right roll still gives you 34 meters of range before falloff even with Fluted Barrel. Adept Icarus Grip can extend this to nearly 35.
Well that is a very well written/well said point! and I definitely agree with you, that very high Pali range really allows it punch outside of its weight class. While that is a big benefit I suppose I find myself feeling like trying to push 140s into those longer territories just doesn’t work out as well as it would if I just played to the 140 inherent optimal range of meters in the low 30s, and explosive payload flinch + the farm-ability & eye of the storm take it a step above pali. But like at the end of the day these two are sooo neck in neck the personal preference is indeed a factor as well. tl;dr I respect your point & well said
1000% agree on handling. It’s the number 1 stat I chase on all my weapons in both pvp and pve. Followed closely by stability. Ps4 player Handling also affects your ability to get shots off in the air. Easy proof of this is grab a high handling Rocket Launcher and a low handling one then compare taking shots with them after jumping
So I got High Impact, QD, Ricochet, small bore and Range MW on my Adept Pali. Fatebringer I have two versions: EOTS, and the other with Kill clip. Both has stability MW however the one with kill clip has accurized rounds. However I prefer EOTS fatebringer even though, it doesn't have Range MW or Accurized rounds. It just feels more consistent and I almost always come out on top in my duels. Hoping to get the god roll one day. 🙏 Great Video man, I cant belive I watched the whole thing and didn't realise 30 mins had gone by... easy!

i was so excited for this vid and wasn’t disappointed. great content! i was kinda disappointed with my roll till i saw this video. fluted, accurized, explosive, eye of the storm. handling masterwork however☹️
Thank you so much! And oh wow I would kill for that role! Guess I gotta go kill templar 500 more times and then atheon too :P
2500 Subs? Wtf just happened? :D I remember when I told you that I can't wait to see you at tenthousands of subs and now it seems like your channel is (finally) getting the attention it deserves :D I'm so glad to see this! :D Congratulations and all the best to you Gjerda, keep up the great work!
Hahaha thank you, I know dude it’s nuts this is going pretty fast! It’s awesome to see all the new people and the OG fans too. Thanks Hankey 🙏
Great video and insightful
My only gripe is the lists of “special pairings”
You make out like Fatebringer has the better options, maybe before the shotgun nerf I’d agree
But nothing right now compares to Chaperone or Bastion except maybe Lord Of Wolves
Eye Of Sol is comparable to all them snipers, as is succession.
Riiswalker is arguably the best shotgun in the game that isn’t a slug
I don’t know man I think you’ve got it backwards or it’s neck and neck here, it’s not a clear win for Fatebringer
Thank you! Fair enough, I hear ya, that area is tight
Dang thank you so much! Appreciate it
fighting lion for life thou
look... I didn't absorb any of that information but I watched the whole vid for the music, your voice and the clips in the background. Subbed
hahaha fair enough and thank you so much! appreciate it :) tldr of the video is both of them are super good, and while I think fatebringer is better they are both extremely good choices
Now I’m more happy about my Eye of the Storm roll 😃
Nice :)
I found my way here and honestly I was sceptical, but now I'm a Subscriber.
well right on gamer glad to hear it
Not only was this video super clean but you pronounced Uzume correctly. S++ for that
Hahaha thanks
The only time I got a Palindrome (normal version) I got one with hammer-forged, flared magwell, quickdraw, rangefinder and handling mw. Felt good
Oh wow very nice!
So much work was put into this! Fantastic job! You're going strait to the top!
Thank you so much! :D
Hey man, not sure why I’m just now finding your channel, but I really enjoy your chill vibes. Keep up the good stuff
Thank you :) I will
I love this type of content. This and the blink video are my 2 favorite d2 videos in the last months
Thanks :)
This is some Coolguy level analysis and enjoyablility for sure, and that's the highest award I can bestow on a detailed weapon review vid. Thanks so much, this will encourage me to get my own!
Thanks :)
So refreshing to see someone suggest other perks than range. Very useful tips and a fantastic vid. well done
Thank you so much! Yeah imo range is the most overrated stat on any gun
It’s interesting. I never considered either roll you mentioned to be even close to competitive, but after listening to this insane breakdown, I’m convinced that everything I thought I knew was wrong. Great video!
Well thanks so much, appreciate it! Hope the knowledge serves you well
I have been playing destiny for over 3000 hours and I thought I knew everything there was to know, but then I watch this video and it teaches me 3 whole new things I didn't even think about?? definitely earned a sub
Yo thank you very much, that’s awesome!
I only subscribed yesterday, this is the third video of yours I've seen. Your method of explaining and comparing is clear and concise. You sir, have just become my favorite technical D2 UA-camr
Wow thank you so much, that’s awesome! I appreciate it a ton 🙏
The production value and research of this video is the real S+ tier thing here! Great video! Definitely just subbed!!!
Thank you so much!
So happy after 25+ rolls for a fatebringer(timelost) my final 25 spoils got me the exact 5/5 godroll from this video. Thank god, now i can move on to a better hezens vengence.
Yoooo nice that’s awesome
Holy smokes this video was amazing. Found it by complete chance too. I love the way you look at the game in an interesting perspective.
Yo thank you so much, awesome to hear!
This was one of, if not, THE BEST and most well put-together god roll video I’ve seen on UA-cam. The editing was insanely well done and all the graphics/charts were very well made and helped tremendously. I look forward to future videos and definitely subscribing.
Dang thank you so much! That is so great to hear, and I will keep it up 🙏
The first Pali role i got is exactly the high impact reserve -bottomless grief -fluted barrel - riccochet rounds...by the way superb video
Ayyy that’s awesome! Enjoy that! And thanks very much :)
Fantastic video, Looking forward to your other content!
Thank you so much! I will do another video soon but I think not til the new season drops :)
Thank you so much! I will endeavor to do so. Seems like people really liked this one which is lovely to see
for the basic fatebringer small bore is the best barrel option cause it gives -2 range but brings ur stability up to 68. with + 6
Honestly I didn’t realise how long this vid was but I was impressed very well thought out, I even subbed
Thanks!
29:08 That cheer though!! 🤩 🎉
Fantastic & detailed guide!
Haha thanks!
26:34 the patience on this man... insane
Dang that was long, but 1.5 speed for the win. However the way you presented the content was top shelf my friend, you deserve way more subs. Fantastic content great way to spend my lunch
Thank you very much!
Subbed for this video alone. Awesome layout and really informative. Would love more comparisons like this (eye of sol vs adored for example, multimach vs Shayura)
Thank you so much! That’s a good idea, maybe I will post a poll for the next one. They take a while to make but I’ll get started soon
“Having the right tool at the right time.”
I’m enlightened 👏.
awesome!
Adept Palindrome: Hammerforged Rifling / Ricochet Rounds / Quickdraw / Rangefinder / Reload MW (RIP)
Timelost Fatebringer: Polygonal Rifling / Accurized Rounds / Rewind Rounds (obviously running EP) / Eye of the Storm / Handling MW
Neither are perfect godrolls but probably the best RNGesus is going to do for me for awhile. I think they are both only missing a meter or so in optimal range so could be worse. Great comparison video by the way.
Oh those are very nice! Good stuff. I’m sure they will feel awesome.
And thank you :)
I watched this entire video and then saw your sub count. I'm in shock dude. Super underrated
Hahaha dude meeee toooo some days lol
But hey it’s super fun to make the videos, so that’s why I’m here. Thanks for watching! Have a good day :)
Excellent video dude 👍👍
I would like to add that with the way ammo economy is in PVP right now I guarantee nobody is having a gunfight with primaries at 30 plus metres
Absolutely haha
And thank you!
Wow thank you so much, I really appreciate it! I will certainly endeavor to make future content in this style as well.
You’ve answered the question that keeps me up at night
Well there ya go that’ll be $4.99
Just kidding thanks for watching
I can agree with the ease of farming for fatebringer, i literally got myself 30 palindromes and only 1 godroll and it was for PVE which i had no intent of using
Absolutely, took me so long to farm palindromes. So much easier to get fates
very in depth look at 2 of the best hand cannons currently
140 have always been a favorite of mine
good video
Thanks buddy!
What a top video! Loved the chill out vibe too! These are my two favourite weapons in D2 right now!
thank you! me too :)
What a small world! I matched you the other day in rumble and now here I am finding this video. New sub from me, fantastic vid and mark my words your content is gonna blow up
Oh hello! That’s awesome, small world. Thank you so much :)
This is what I dream of my Destiny videos to be like when I go to sleep.
Really enjoyed the vid thanks! I’m sure you spent ages on this so well done
I did haha, thank you!
When Gjerd starts talking about handling it sounds like he’s doing a cult chant
Super high quality video buddy, this is the type of PVP content I seek to quench my thirst as a GodRoll Hunter lol
Thank you very much! I will keep it coming
This has been on the watch list for a while now and I’m so disappointed in myself for making it wait so long. This is SUPER hepful informaton and, no doubt, took an incredible amount of work. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and experience with us
Thanks for watching! :D sure thing, glad you liked it
my roll has 69 stability and not 68, I will never financially recover from this
I got mine with corkscrew (surprisingly good), accurized, explosive, firefly range mw. it's surprisingly really really good. wish I got eye of the storm but firefly does help a bit, you'd get enemies holding hands every once in a while, it splashes enemies nearby and faster reload helps a gun with 10 bullets only
Nice! And yeah dang, you should try to find a way to lose one point of stability :/ rip
4 months later - I have the exact Fatebringer god roll you recommend and it is CRISPY.
YESSSSS
Over a year later and I do too. The stats are different but still very good.
God, what a video. +1 Sub for the sheer depth and expertise to discuss literally everything that can be considered when comparing these two guns. Thank you for such a fantastic video.
Thank you for the kind words :) have a great day!
Just found this channel and I'm always happy to sub to a stat focused channel!!
Thanks, and welcome to the channel!
My best roll Pali was actually hammer forged, flared magwell, quickdraw, and high impact reserves with a range masterwork. Can’t lie, I love it. 😁
Oooo very nice
Great video. I’ve been waiting for people to address how great fluted barrel is. 70 handling paired with a ready and stow animation decrease (dexterity perks) feels almost like QuickDraw. Although you don’t need fluted if you’re running dragons shadow or ophidians. You’ve earned a sub.
Thanks! Yeah I think handling is pretty underrated
I still prefer corkscrew that gives little of everything
hammer forged isn't worth it since it only gives 0.7 meter one corkscrew even with rangefinder
smallbore is very good as well
This video is unbelievably comprehensive and helpful! Thank you so much! With the launch of Festival of the Lost 2021 I would love to see a comparison of Jurassic Green and Darkest Before, both being energy 540 pulses.
Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching. That’s a great idea and I will consider doing it if I have time!
dude. i jsut wanna appreciate the ammount of work you¨put into this video, its filled with great knowledge and im very happy to have found your channel. Amazing video very comprehensive.
Thank you so much! Appreciate it! :)
quality is INSANE! subbed and notifications on 🥴
Yooo THANK YOU 😤
Excellent work I’m sure you spent hours making this video!! Attention to detail on point
Thank you so much! I did haha, but it was worth it, and fun to do for sure.
After watching your vid, i spent 240 spoils and got the exact same best of the best God roll Timelost Fatebringer! I’m so happy
YO NIIIIICE THATS AWESOME. I am so jealous. Have fun!!
What website is he using to see how the guns stats would look with different perks?
D2gunsmith.com :)
just got my timelost fatebringer with opening shot 😳
I was watching and just checked ur subs and HOLY you're underrated as hell! Thought you were a lot bigger because the quality of the video was insane
Hahaha thank you so much! Yeah hopefully we can grow a bit here lol
Here I am sitting with two incredibly solid rolls on these weapons, but no adept icarus. Life is pain...
Excellent vid btw!
Aw dang haha, hopefully one day! I think it only drops from the flawless chest :P
Personally I love pairing energy weapons like CQC and Uzume, but the thin frame and solid sounds that the pali make, makes the gun feel so much more clean. Overall great video about two great guns.
It definitely wins the sleekness competition. And thank you!
I got hammer, accurized, range mw and eye of the storm on my time lost, it just feels so good 😊
ooooo thats the dream, i wish i had that!
@@Gjerda excellent vid bro, I’m gonna sub too, I got the Pali but no god roll still, but yeah uzume it’s a great combo for this hand cannon or the sudden death too
Thanks! Yep very true, it fits with the best specials in the game imo
For sure, both good points from each of you!
Nice review bro, keep up that quality and good things will come. Good stuff!
Thank you! I will try!
I mean honestly it just comes down to which fits into your build
Energy based special weapon? Fatebringer
Kinetic special? Palindrome
seems kinda easy to me
if you pick builds based on the special as the priority, sure thing, but sometimes people approach from the primary first perspective
But like at the end of the day these two are sooo neck in neck the personal preference is indeed a factor as well.
tl;dr I respect your point & well said
11:23 I call that the “Oh shit I thought I was on hunter”
Exactly hahaha, you know it well
@@Gjerda all too well
This is an absolute banger of a video amazing production value!
Yo thank you so much!
Holy shit dude. I leave civilisation for like a week and your videos hit 40K views? Congrats!
Dude for real hahaha idk what happened, but I guess this is where we are now. Thanks!
@@Gjerda The algorithm smiled on you or something.
1000% agree on handling. It’s the number 1 stat I chase on all my weapons in both pvp and pve. Followed closely by stability. Ps4 player
Handling also affects your ability to get shots off in the air. Easy proof of this is grab a high handling Rocket Launcher and a low handling one then compare taking shots with them after jumping
Yes!! You get it
So I got High Impact, QD, Ricochet, small bore and Range MW on my Adept Pali.
🙏 Great Video man, I cant belive I watched the whole thing and didn't realise 30 mins had gone by... easy!
Thanks haha! Yeah dude I totally agree, EOTS is next level, I want it on every gun
@@Gjerda it's so good on Hawkmoon too! It's nuts! Love that perk!
