Tori…. I rented a storage unit …a large storage unit…. have been using that to build my van out of they allow me to use my generator there so I can use the generator to charge up my batteries 100% every day…(small generator $1000, but then I have full power for building, heat lights, etc…$3 a day in gas) I chain it to my ladder rack when I use it and place one of my cameras near it also…. The power provided in my storage unit is an extra charge. This is a cheaper option….. It also gives me a place to be during the day. It’s safe. It has a large 6 foot fence around it and an access code to get in….. unit is large enough. I can pull my van all the way inside also…… so if you’re looking for a workspace storage unit is good option…. Give me a place to store my extra material also upcoming portions of the project and scrap pieces left over from previous project….. You can save a lot of money using scrap pieces….👍😎 hope that helps

Hi Tory, great video as always! Fremont Street, never heard of it and not sure why. Maybe all the people I know who've been to Vegas just gamble, not sure? Seems like the place to be! Loved the TSwift ref 🤗
Fremont Street is aka Casino Center the Original Casino district. The old Famous ones like 4 Queens, the Waving Cowboy, Golden Nugget ect are there. Then they built "the Strip" out by the Airport and now that is main area? Fremont Street is now covered walk area, they play light shows on ceiling at night, there are Zip lines ect.
Hey im sure you know this but during the hot ass summers in the valley, Mt. Charleston has free dispersed camping that gets pretty amazing sleeping weather at night. I used it more than a few times during my 18 months in my van in Vegas, before one of the aforementioned vegas drivers turned left into me and totalled my ride! Hope you're having a good time out there!
What about getting one of those portable air conditioners for your rig? I’ve watched a few videos of ones that have their own batteries and are not $2000. I live in the NW, but have a dog. We adventure or park near water during our few scorching hot days. If you think renting a space could help your mood, that’s what I’d do. It would honestly help mine. Because I love projects and working on projects helps my mental health. You have nothing holding you back. Go somewhere cooler and work on your rig for a solid month. There are so many van life communities on this side of the country. Ask the folks on your channels if they know of places. There are a million types of music festivals and opportunities to camp out this time of the year. You will meet a million friends at just one. And not all are raves. Folk music. Dance festivals. Art and Renaissance fairs. I love indulging my hobbies. I’ll be at a knitting festival in June😊 I get the whole pressure from comparison. It’s a true human emotion. I see how grateful you are for what you have and that shows.
You really need to look at signature solar the first split AC unit that works off just solar panels. They even have different sizes I would recommend a 12 K if you do the insulation right I bought a 20 4K because mine is all metal and a little bigger wanna make sure I have enough in Florida These heat and cold I’m going to run a back up floor unit Vasto I hope this helps you I think you’re going to be looking at $1200 for the AC and then whatever to put it in. I paid 18 for the 2400. I’m going to run five solar panels, three of them are going to be for the Ac. Hope this helps you. I think you’re amazing.
I see you dancing to the beat of your own drum. Many get jealous of that rebel attitude because *in my opinion = imo* they are not gritty and brave enough to try it. Housing is redictulous when I have traveled i have went in the past with very little backup $ working where I can however temporary and moving on to the next place. I admire than you see the things you want to see and not give into the "you're in vegas so you must be gambling and partying" In a sense this is correct "you're gambling and pulling from your own resourcefulness (imo) I have always said that the homeless have a more idea of what life is like vs the ones in the perfect houses, jobs etc... and having a van and living in a car or van is that you house has wheels and a engine and you can choose your view daily. Keep up the great things your doing :)
Thank you for gambling at the casino so I don't have to. Tho, when I do get promo spending from a hotel to play at a casino ( Niagara Falls off season) I think the table game roulette is the most 'fun'. Most of the time I bet black and red at the same time (maybe cover a buck or two on the zeros) to guarantee cash out most of the promotion and leave with cash, but once in awhile I get excited and take the chances of doubling up $5 bucks that really gets that thrill going. Watching the ball spinning around to then win is always fun, but losing $5 bucks isn't that bad for the increased heart rate only captured on a single bet. I no longer actually bet real money, only fun promo money from the bus or hotel. (Casino Bus, because it's cheaper than driving and parking and the Niagara parkland is so nice to visit . Plus I don't want to drive on my fun day(s) out.)
Hi Tory The weird thing about van life is that for the most part there is little or no van snobbery unlike in houses which are price zoned by area and everything in that area matches the pricing, restaurants, bars, shops, hair salons etc. people in $500000 RVs will talk to the people in the 30 year old VW four pitches down. Everybody is just interested in your van not judgemental.
Great video! New Subscriber here - first video of yours I have watched. I was in Vegas about 6 weeks ago (partially for fun, mostly for business) and it was great. I try to get to Vegas now once a year. I hardly drink and don't really gamble (I'll lose $20 and then give up). Las Vegas does have a lot to offer on the entertainment side. I have never been to Fremont street > maybe next time I go I'll head that way. Instead of dropping a couple hundred dollars at a casino, I'd rather donate to the street performers... they offer more entertainment than a slot machine or table can. Thanks for showing us around!
I live near Vegas like an hour north. Got tools and pretty handy. If you need help lmk I can either help or give you guidance on what to do. Most of this stuff is actually less complicated than what people make it out to be. Just have to be careful on a few things so it’s safe
☆TORY☆ fun video ! I really like how complex you are.... so smart, beautiful inside and out, actually a real nerd. And actually really cool. Your an onion girl. Lots of layers 😂 be safe !❤
Having vacationed in Vegas several dozen times and knowing the little bit I know about you, I can see how some aspects of Vegas are perfect for you and others not so much. For now leaving is probably the right choice but I know you'll be back.
In 2010 or so I drove to Vegas to look at houses. I ended up needing to get my brakes on my car done, so while I was waiting I walked over to an old arcade/pinball museum. It was pretty neat. I wonder if it's related to this one or it is the same people but moved it to a bigger building.
You living life not homeless. Like your vanlife videos. I am still looking for my van found a CAN AM spyder instead. Gee what am I thinking. Lol enjoying my 3 wheels adventures in ky so far.
As a "samurai" (I do have a katana, am forever learning Japanese, have 3 anime husbands, and in 2007 after I left a toxic relationship with a guy who was a Kill Bill Bill doppelganger, I really identified with The Bride - Beatrix Kiddo as I painted the walls of my new studio and slowly but steadily rebuilt my life and myself, and especially the scene where she digs herself out of the coffin LOL. That was literally me) so as I was saying, as a "samurai" who was once in love with a "ninja" - the guy did practice ninjutsu, sleep on the floor, and he wanted to go to Japan to study and become a martial arts instructor, I'd HAVE to try that karaoke. What's the funniest is that I just ended an 11 year marriage and am just starting to date again (it's so fun!!) and the Ninja (yes, the same guy I dated 17 years ago) is one of my prospects LOL. ❤He's from my hometown and we used to write letters to each other and I went digging in the basement and I found his old letters and they are so much sweeter than I remembered! So I took the odd chance of writing to him again LOL. À suivre ...
I’m from Ohio but have been in Las Vegas since I was 18…many moons ago. Lol I love it here! You’re right that there is soooo much more than the casinos! Please be careful with no AC in this heat! I’m not sure who the AC person was that you used, but we just got ours done, and the guy that did it is so legit. I’m retired LVMPD and many folks use him. It’s Star Auto & Limo repair. You should be able to get it fixed for under $2000. We got a new compressor and condenser in and it was $1700, I believe. It’s not a lot less but $300 is $300. lol
Noise-cancelling headphones? I lived in Floridaand only got A/C when I purchased a new 1981 VW Rabbit L. You could try a portable A/C unit from Home Depot or Lowes. You will need an exhaust outside for the hot air (think car window) and a place for water to drip out. I could sleep on hot Florida nights if I had a fan blowing on me all night long. We had an attic fan in our 1920s home in Winter Haven that sucked air from all points of the house.
howdy rebel lady!! bummer bout the ac, but resourceful ppl are resourceful! you actually gave me an idea to take the heat from ya van hydronic floor and reverse it to chill instead of warm... also I've been looking at second hand refrigerated trucks cause they come pre-installed with insulation.. n on a hot summer night... we would be super chill (I could probably duct some air n pass it on to other vans that are feeling the heat) ok enough crazy thoughts! I love your patreon group, so many talented people, here's my next thought, every year a tree loses it leaves, its ok, those leaves create the fertile soil and ecosystem from which all the trees grow bigger and stronger. It's not for you to know where the wind blows the leaves, the tree has done its part, stand strong, stand tall. (ps my scooter gets here in 2 weeks ish, will post its unboxing somewhere if ya wanna see it). I heard its also green t-shirt month for mental health.
On the hot days get you a nice sized styrofoam cooler that will fit a 5 pound block of dry ice and about 20 bottles of 16.9 oz standard size drinking water bottles. Dry ice this size should last you about 24 hours and usually cost between $1-3 per pound. So if its expensive you might get away with a 3 pound block, but around 5 pounds are recommended. NEXT, get you 16-20 bottles of dasani drinking water, the standard 16.9 oz drinking water bottle kind that they sell everywhere. Pour out about 1/4 of the water from each bottle (for water expansion freezing issues)... As just mentioned get you THICK PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES (like Desani bottles which are VERY thick)... NEXT, get a roll of duct tape and create a "belt of water bottles" and tape the 4-5 water bottles together (like daisy-chained together) to make a loose straight "4 - 5 pack" of them and MAKE SURE you have a 1 inch gap between each water bottle for AIRFLOW from the vornado fan to blow through... Then you want to do this for 4 - 5 more times (to create 4 - 5 backup "4-pack belts" of bottles) so you have a backups that you keep frozen all the time in the styrofoam cooler... NEXT get you the strongest output vornado fan you can find (like a 7 - 10 inch Vornado fan, like this model: Vornado EXO51 Heavy Duty Air Circulator Shop Fan that they sell at home depot - about $60 bucks) and plug it into your Jackery (or whatever brand of PPS you use)... NEXT get 3 milk crates, and they also sell them at Home Depot and prob Lowes, maybe even Walmart... NEXT get some twine OR get some small to med size metal clamp hooks, so you can hook these 4 frozen bottles from the upside down milk crate and jimmyrig those 4-5 frozen bottles up inside one of your milk crates...to create like a cold radiator inside of one crate... Note: the extra 2 milk crates are so you can build yourself a modular air condition setup. Place one upside-down milk crate on the floor of your van, then stack the crate (with the 4 frozen water bottles) directly on top of that...THEN the third milkcrate you will duct tape the vornado fan to it and place it in back of your first two crates so the fan will be the same height as the crate with the frozen water bottles one.... It's always good to have an extra crate or 3 or 4... If you get actually 4 milk crates they become an indispensable makeshift seat or makeshift workbench that you can always have around.... The next part is to put the vornado fan as close as you can in front of your frozen bottle crate so that air goes through the milk crate with your frozen bottles. This should cool your van down maybe 20+ degrees on very hot day. It may not seem like much, but its a HUGE difference going from 120 degrees in your van to maybe hitting 90 - 95 (and obviously cooler inside the van later in the day and at night) inside your van... The bottles WILL sweat heavily so do get yourself a cheap aluminum foil baking pan just a bit bigger than the size of the standard milk crate size and boom, you got yourself a frozen bottle sweat catcher and hopefully cooler van! Every mid to large size town in America should have a place to buy dry ice blocks. You can go to penguindryice (dot) com and they have a store locater and sell dry ice in over 5,000 retail and grocery locations in the US... And from light searching myself it looks like walmart might sell dry ice packs too... If you can get that good quality Vornado fan cheap enough you should be able to get this whole setup for around $100. While dry ice is not really dangerous it IS extremely cold at -110 degrees Fahrenheit on the surface...so I recommend reading online a high quality guide on the general SAFTEY handling of dry ice. Also I would get a pair of good quality puffy insulated winter gloves if your even attempting to handle naked dry ice at all... Since we're approaching summertime you'll prob have a hard time finding winter gloves, so try to get VERY THICK COWHIDE farmers gloves, like at home depot or lowes, and get the THICKEST AND MOST HEAVY DUTY pair of rawhide gloves you can find.... Even WITH thick gloves on you would only want to handle a block of naked dry ice for only literally SECONDS (LIKE UNDER 10 SECONDS AT A TIME). Like if you have to quickly adjust the block in the cooler, etc... But thats what the towel is for too!!! Always put your dry ice in a medium sized towel enough to cover the block completely over in a COUPLE layers of towel thickness AND use the gloves on top of THAT)... Prob wouldn't hurt to google how to properly store dry ice in a styrofoam cooler too... Also wrap the dry ice block in a small towel to keep the dry ice separated from whatever your trying to freeze and keep frozen... Also, I checked and looks like walmart sells milkcrates around $7.50. A styrofaom cooler should be pretty cheap at under $10 too... If you ever find yourself getting too hot get yourself inside an air-conditioned place pronto. As we all know these summers lately have been very brutal nationwide and heatstroke creeps up on ALL of us, even the young and healthy!!! Also, this came to mind, use cardboard and some more duct tape to create funnel "sides" to this contraption, so to cut down on "airflow leakage" and to get the most airflow from the fan to directly hit the frozen bottles.... And once you get your permanent AC unit who can't use a nice powerful vornado fan and few stackable milk crates? You may also want to get some type of programmable timer to where your vornado fan will only come on for like 10 min out of each hour (during the night) to save your PPS electricity... I would check Amazon for that type of switch/timer. I did some searching and found this... Check this one out at amazon: [2 Pack] NEARPOW Digital Timer For Lamp With Dual Outlets, Programmable Timer In Door, Outlet Timer For Lights, 10 On/Off Programs, 24-Hour And 7-Day Programmable Electric Plug Timer,3 Prong, 15A/1800W as it gives you *up to 10 individual schedules to turn on/off electronics automatically.* So this can theoretically turn the fan on and off I believe 10 times during the night to save your electricity and just enough to keep cold air moving around the van too... ALWAYS remember to check the wattage of the fan though, and from Vornado's own website it lists the Vornado EXO51(mentioned above) to run at 53 Watts, 60 Hertz, and 120 volts, so I'd say its safe to use with the programmable timer from amazon... Also, if you want to get really fancy, you can use those small blue ice packs instead of all the water bottles, just make sure when you're creating your "4 pack of bottles / ice packs" to leave space between each one for air circulation...and you'll still have to duct tape the small blue ice packs together like the water bottle example.... Sorry this turned into a book lol... Cheers and be safe!!!
I work at a gaming cafe a mini casino and I've seen so many people loose everything with this addiction it's horrible. Vegas was made for fun every once in a while but these cafes people come in daily 😢such a waste I see them throw away money and I'm dying to just hit the road and do vanlife❤ One tip I can give is do not go gambling to make money it won't happen
Your van situation is Perfect for using Reflectix the correct way! U have bare metal walls, put up sheets of Reflectix w atleast 1/2" gap Do Not apply directly to the metal! This is made to reflect radiant heat from Sun not conductive heat. I have a dark Gray van, it made an unlovable oven into warn but tolerably wanm camper. I have a Maxxair fan to install this spring. U shud consider a swivel for passenger seat? Game Changer! Opens up so much room and gives u comfy chair in Living room? My van is 136" wb so i need all the space i can get?
You don't gamble? A single young lady living in a vehicle for 8 years. 😂 You gamble every day. Am I going to get kicked out of my space? Do I have enough money to get to my next destination? Will my AC fail? Oh wait!! Do I have enough for food today? Vegas is going to get HOT. It might be time to go to Idaho or Montana. Glad you're still doing your riding group. Looks fun. Keep on keeping on!

I’ll be at a knitting festival in June😊
I get the whole pressure from comparison. It’s a true human emotion. I see how grateful you are for what you have and that shows.
Yay! South point. That’s my local casino I go to steak and shake and the movie theater.
great video...and the big grasshopper with fire was great to see
Thank you! & yes the grasshopper is one of my favorite things here in Vegas! So unique & cool!
Thanks!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much! This is going to help. a lot with the Air conditioning install! I appreciate the help & support! ☺️
@@ToryDelury You are very welcome. Hopefully you can get that air conditioner soon. Again thanks for the great content 😊
Hello Nice to Meet You and I Love Las Vegas Love Your Video ☺☺😊
That Pokemon is arbok, ekans evolved form! 🐍💚
hahaha It totally saw purple and snakey body & totally ignored any other features lol 😂😂 Welp this is embarrassing… 😳 😂
So may great outdoor places to check out here... Floyld Lamb State Park, Red Rock, Nelson's Landing, Good Springs, Mt. Charleston just to name a few.
Always watchable ❤
Hi Tory
The weird thing about van life is that for the most part there is little or no van snobbery unlike in houses which are price zoned by area and everything in that area matches the pricing, restaurants, bars, shops, hair salons etc. people in $500000 RVs will talk to the people in the 30 year old VW four pitches down.
I loved ❤️the video Tory so glad to be subscribed. I’m 99 percent sure that was Arbok which is the evolved form of ekans.
The pinball hall of fame is fun!
I never thought you have nothing. Just thinking that it might be a good idea to just start with Vanlife and not waiting till its ready or perfect.
Really admire your fun lifestyle. Stay strong stay sweet .
I just found my free eatery! I'm a bit over 400! A John Pinette fan too, sad he left us.
❤😊nice to see you
Glad you love our city… just please don’t let the secret out!! Let people think there is nothing else but the strip.
Hahaha Sorry 😳🫢😂
My former coworker opened an arcade cereal bar. It's awesome.
enjoy your videos. keep it up
I would love to be the friend that went to a place like that with you... it looks like soooooo much funnnnn 😂❤
My hometown!
You living life not homeless. Like your vanlife videos. I am still looking for my van found a CAN AM spyder instead. Gee what am I thinking. Lol enjoying my 3 wheels adventures in ky so far.
I think I dogged on you for the no build before but I just got a 2000 e350 and get it now, saving up to go west with a walmartcot and couch cushions.
You should get a job working at a Casio there, I hear they can be lots of fun even just for a little while. Great show by the way.
she's too good for that. 😂😂
Love this.
It’s not a lot less but $300 is $300. lol
Ok. I see you left. Smart move! lol it’s great here from October to the end of April.
Cc Tory, c'est pas le jackpot, mais c'est toujours un début ! Bonne continuation et faite attention coups de soleil 🌞
T O R Y , Next trip, go to the Neon Museum ! It was the best part of my trip there. Deff make a reservation at night. It is soooooo worth it.
When Tory said Ekans...🤦♂️ haha jk. Love your vids!
AGGHHH… i am dying of embarrassment ☠️😭
Great pinball showcase. Next time I got I Vegas I’m dropping by as I seen an asteroids machine.
I've lived in Vegas a long time and you've shown me things I've never seen before. I'm a bit of an introvert, guess I need to get out more.
howdy rebel lady!! bummer bout the ac, but resourceful ppl are resourceful! you actually gave me an idea to take the heat from ya van hydronic floor and reverse it to chill instead of warm... also I've been looking at second hand refrigerated trucks cause they come pre-installed with insulation.. n on a hot summer night... we would be super chill (I could probably duct some air n pass it on to other vans that are feeling the heat) ok enough crazy thoughts!
Great video ❤❤😊rose 🌹
Have you ever looked into the the EcoFlow wave 2. Might be a good stopgap while you work on your van built out. It’s 40% off right now.
Beautiful sharing🌼
Fit BULL BARS on the front of the van.
My dad went to Vegas this week. Wish i would’ve went with him! Maybe we could’ve met up and adventured together. I’ve never been there before
Omg come to Texas so we can have food dates !!!
Shawty, don’t feel bad. I’m rebel van life too . Lmao 😂
Wait what....you are not 149lbs! theres no way...that scale is broken.😂 btw youre beautiful ty for the video❤
I tried to edit my post on the A/C. i PUT ONE IN MY TRUCK CAB and it would freeze me out. They come in 12 volt also. 12V Split Air Conditioner 12000BTU AC Kit Fit for Cab Semi Truck Bus Caravan RV. $ 559.00
I tried to look cream because I see it on your channel. I think it’s something I’m going to have from now on funny enough I don’t eat enough calories anymore. I’ve lost so much weight I eat one simple meal a day but I do enjoy the whip cream with some berries of some kind of any kindhave the best day ever
