Wow! I love y’all music videos and this has to be the greatest performance on a late night show ever. I am a lighting designer and I am typically very critical (I wish I could turn it off) but I have never been disappointed with the video editing or lighting in anything that I have seen from y’all. This is fantastic. I actually had an “oh shit!” moment when the camera shifted overhead and the key lighting was the gobos on the floor. What an incredible way to do the harsh cuts/color changes that I love from the music videos in a live setting. Wow. Great work to everyone involved!
Sjakkahakaka what are you doing here just saw the short film you were in and it was soooo cool and then here you are liking a band I like too. Whatttt???

For the first time in my life I started crying at the sound of a song. Starting 2:40, my heart started beating harder and when he stood on stage and sung those high notes, I burst out into tears of joy. This song has brought me through so much depression. Seeing the voice behind my remedy was like seeing my light shine brighter than ever. Thank you. Thank you a million times, Half•alive. Thank you jimmy kimmel for letting them show others their beauty.
That huge confidence boost he got from the audience after he hit the high note made this performance so much more amazing. I'm so happy this band is getting the recognition it deserves.
This isn't just them signing a song live but a live performance where they incorporate their style and flair into the stage. Hope to see more of this these days.
Idk guys, everyone is talking about how he sounds nervous throughout most of the performance, slowly gaining confidence, but the way I see it it's mostly just because the vocals are more delicate at the beginning, gaining more power as the song progresses. Then adding that it's live and he's performing on top of that, it's no wonder his voice sounds a little shaky - performing with choreo is super hard. But I think he did really well, very clean nice vocals.
This performance is better than half of the SNL performances featured since this aired! And what I love and find so powerful about this entire production (which radiates passion in every facet), is the message. In my darkest of hours, if and however this finds it's way to my screen or stereo, it always manages to reinvigorate my sense of hope and inspire me to endure on, by not only reminding me of, but reconnecting me with the light of life that still burns within and around us all!
-got the notification for this and for a hot second I thought they'd released a new song- fantastic performance, though! choreography and lighting was as stunning as usual, and I especially loved the moment at 3:10. it's absolutely amazing to think of where these guys will go, they have a bright future ahead of them :)
