Limo Golf Cart Build ~ 713cc V Twin Swap on Yamaha G-29

- Today we roll in the Yamaha g29 Limo Golf Cart. When we got it last summer, it already had a lift and custom paint job with a blown up stock yamaha engine. We remove the old engine, tilted engine plate, wiring, and efi set-up. I fab up the engine mount where it's level then we put in the new DuroMax 713cc V Twin with a performance 670 mikuni adapter and mikuni. We're looking forward to making this a show piece! ever since ive seen the predator engine upgrade been itching to do that but probably going to wait until my son can 'help' me found a quality used rolling motorcycle frame would be perfect for a project. thanks for keeping me on track after i just finished building my first motorcycle at home

Cool build! Sounds like you have some decent ideas for it. Needs lift kit and stereo. You could weld hitch receiver and build custom trailer for it too for cooler or gear. I would like to see more golf cart builds the market for them is crazy right now.

keep that starter gen for sure. they go for 200 to 300 bucks. they work great. the one on my ancient ezgo is enough to run some halogen off road lights and still charge the battery.
That little engine is so simple to get unstuck but I realize why you didn’t free it up. But with fuel injection might’ve been a good little engine once freed up

Good luck with he build.. Been working on Yamaha gas golf carts a long time.. The rear in that thing is junk those years on the g29.. Can't wait to see it roll..
Here is an idea.Put some strong magnets under table to catch loose bolts and nuts.Or put an electromagnet with variable strength if they exist.Don't know about effects when you put ground from welder though.

P.S. If you can build your own brackets you can get those 1-wire alternators on Amazon for around $60-$100 depending on the amp output you need.

Around 10 years ago I built a 4x4 golf cart Polaris sportsman 500 differential and axles and gsxr 600 motor my favorite thing to do with it was hit mud holes it never got stuck not even at Busco beach

Crazy idea, can message Cleetus McFarland and do a collab. He has a racetrack and could definitely put this bad boy to use ripping it around on tours and shit. Especially with the sidebyside track he plans to put on his property.
He has a great community of people who love anything that's fast and looks cool. Could be a nice boost for subs and views for you. Not to mention, an insane collab and would be some pretty great content if you brought some of your other builds to their sidebyside track and ripped them around with their crew.

You should make a UTV out of it
Spray some cleaner on top piston and let it sit for few hrs shoot it out repeat two times hit it with some wd40 hand crank it back and fourth so losen piston and it should fire up
If you ever need some good stainless for an exhaust the has two 90s to use...go buy a shower hand bar at menards...they have many sizes...

Have you ever looked into the Ecotron fuel injection systems for small engines? They don't seem too popular so I'm not sure how much support there is for them.

Planning a similar build with VegasCarts kit, Predator 670, and modeling after the Performance 670 nearly 50 hp builds. I am really interested in figuring out how well a starter-generator will work on these, and who has a kit. I do NOT want the key start. AND I want to know how quiet these can be with a car muffler to have a 'sleeper' cart. I use my cart more like a normal golf cart...rv parks, lake, etc...stereo, cool lights, and room for my cooler are most important. Wondering about a pin-code enabled start so I don't have a physical key at all (I've seen them for electric carts). Also looking into some air shocks making it anywhere from a low rider to lifted with the push of a button. -- Another post said golf cart builds are hot right now, and they certainly are around me. Hard to find any cheap donors lately.
We are thinking about moving up to the Knoxville area from Atlanta, on the way up I told my wife that you live somewhere in Tennessee. We got off the interstate so we could drive thought so of the smaller towns on the way up to Knoxville, ended up driving right past your house ( recognize the area from previous videos) what are the chances!!

This is in no way a negative item but rather an attempt to learn. Obviously I am a novice. Please when you throw out numbers referring to a cart as a 150 aare you talking about engine or type of cart. I love watching your videos and I hope to build a 4 seater with electric start and reverse.
