Based on this video, I bought these wheels from Wheelwiz and couldn't be any happier. I even specified the 8.5" wheel width just as Chris did in order to reduce the chances of curb rash. So far I have seen no significant decrease in range but I did see one benefit that is not mentioned in this video. My car had the Gemini wheels with covers and switching to this wheel actually reduced road noise quite a bit. This video is accurate in my opinion and I recommend this set of wheels.
Pro Tip... If you want to upgrade your rims from the Gemini wheels you might get more than $500 for all 4 if you sell them individually. Think about how many Tesla's are rolling around with Gemini wheel and remember that Teslas don't come with a spare wheel/tire! (plus, even Gemini owners curb rash their wheels)

I'm so glad I found this video. These wheels look almost identical to the ones TSportline sells, except these cost half as much. I actually prefer these, not just because of the price, but because they're slightly more narrow so there's less chance of curb rash with these wheels. I think I'm going to pull the trigger. Hey Chris, glad I found this video!! I have been worrying about placing orders 8.5inch wheels because Tesla original is 9.5inch. So does that mean I can change to 8.5inch wheel but using back the original tyre from Tesla?
275 is about what i got with inductions, and it tickles my neurons to see that number go down so i sold the inductions for Geminis and got blackout Oem style covers. Floating around 250 now but have some dish style covers on the way.
My screw broke when I decided to remove my mud flaps from the back. Yes that little circle looking nut broke off and I could not remove the bolt. I had to use a Dremel tool to cut it off. I replaced it with a new bolt similar in size and used a wind nut to secure it. You have to remove the wheel well cover enough to get in to thread the wing nut onto the bolt. Hope this helps. I've had my R241 installed on my car since end of March and love them... I went with 20x10 setup, end up buying the TPMS sensor and 4 oem tires takeoffs from Inductions with only 500 miles on them... Then sold my geminis with tires/tpms. I'm averaging about 276 whm with a mixture of driving in NorCal.

I bought the gun metal gray from wheelwiz and I love them. I use Gemini for summer and the replikas for winter. I swap them myself in my garage. Very pleased and I didn’t have any import fees. I believe they cost me around ~$550. Great video!
That's what I'm doing I got the model y performance and as soon as those tires on the 21's are done I'm going to 19's 255 up front and 275 in the rear.
Wheel covers can be painted at a shop and they can paint your edges too so it looks clean but most people just use the rims underneath and powder coat then
Are the center caps on the R241s removable/replaceable? If so, do you need to pop them out from the inside or is there a way to get them off from the front?

Great video, you covered every base for someone to buy and get these rims installed flawlessly. I have a question. Did you need an alignment afterwards, right after or months laters? I ask because now I feel my steer wheel is a little of center. The rims were balanced but I didn’t get an alignment. I also ask because I’ve heard some Tesla are not aligned properly from the factory. I’ll probably get it done to conserve the tires so I Just wanted you opinion
I definitely got one after I got the car and it’s a good idea to do it after new tires. Firestone has a lifetime alignment which I got and it’s been helpful

did you get same 8.5 with 40 offset? I'm thinking of getting stock size. However, it requires hubcentric ring. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Amazing. Zero regrets! 8.5 helps prevent the rash. Induction has slightly rougher ride and less room for error

Doesn’t hurt the range. Quality is still amazing. Looks beautiful, overall super happy daddy looks a little different

Super easy swap Jusr replaced the rims and that’s it. Tpms tires all factory

None I like it better. Less curb rash as the rims don’t stick out as far allowing the tires to protect the wheels

I have a question. Did you need an alignment afterwards, right after or months laters? I ask because now I feel my steer wheel is a little of center. The rims were balanced but I didn’t get an alignment. I also ask because I’ve heard some Tesla are not aligned properly from the factory. I’ll probably get it done to conserve the tires so I Just wanted you opinion
I definitely got one after I got the car and it’s a good idea to do it after new tires. Firestone has a lifetime alignment which I got and it’s been helpful

Yea! Original lug nuts and tpms work fine!!

Nothing! Don’t need to worry about curbing the wheels as much. Good range on 19 inches love everythint about it
