Looking forward to take delivery of my new Tesla Model Y. Sun protection I am big on as well. Hoping that the home charger has a long enough cord to reach the car when its parked outside without having to use an extension. I’ve got the larger rubber mud flaps from Rally Armor and it was great in the slush and grit at the end of the winter/early spring
My #1 accessory is a swivel mount for the screen. Once you have it, you will never go back.
ive always debated on it maybe ill check it out
@@EverydayChris I have had it installed for 2 years. My screen has not faced dead center since. Your co-pilot will love it too.
This was my ideal, first modification, but after some research and UA-cam videos, I decided against installing a swivel mount due to the fact everybody is saying that it mounds a bit lower than the original stock setting or just ends up not angled correctly

Is there also something that can organize or hang your purse/jacket behind the front seats for easy access? I’ve seen them made for cars with removable headrest but not Tesla front seats.

I added the Spiegen screen protector and accessory caddy. Love both. I have Google Pixel phones that aren't compatible with my M3 charge pads. Which cell phone accessory would you recommend that my arm rest charger cord can reach when i need it. I too like to use Waze.

The best hiding spot in in the fronk by the standard battery. Small items in a zip lock bag. Plenty of space.
Excellent Video. I am going to buy a model 3. I jus saw the write up for the 2024 Highlander. The improvements are impressive however the price $54k (for the lowest model) is kind of expensive. Do you recommend waiting for the model 3 2024? Thank you again for the video

I figure (just a guess on my part) that even with the improvements that the base model 2024 Highlander will get about 320 miles of range. I am Internet shopping and I am seeing low milage model 3's (long range AWD) for $34k all day long.

I have the fanttik x8 apex tire inflator. its a must have I've even helped a MYP at a supercharger when the air pump at the supercharger didnt work. I also take glass cleaner and car detail spray and micofiber towers for cleaning on long road trips. I see a lot of people cleaning their front bumpers with the window squeegee 😳
Hey Chris, for a Model Y what is the best home charger to install into the garage? Just have a 220 Volt installed and use the plug that comes with the vehicle or something more elaborate? Thanks in advance.
It's actually 250 volts. 110v went to 120v then to 125v in most of north america. If you do not have a 250v outlet and want an outlet I would have them install wire guage thick enough for 60 amps. The wall connector will charge 48 miles of range per hour but needs to be hard wired to 60amps to do that. The mobile connector plug is a 50 anp 250v and it will charge just under 30 miles per hour. I had a 250v plug for a welder and just use that with the mobile charger but if I did not already have the welder outlet I would have just got the wall connector and hardwired it to a 60 amp breaker.
*KEY FOB !* I use my Tesla tire pump to maintain pressures in my Y and Harley. Works great.

Wondering if you recommend the Spigen suction cup version over the Jowua, there is a significant cost difference, not sure what makes the Jowua 30$ more but has the exact same function/features. Any reason you would justify the additional expense?
Similar. Jowua has more stuff, longer cable, mine also had a usb c adapter.

The first time I was ever in a tesla, I went to a dealership to test drive one. One of the first things I noticed was the “secret” compartment in the arm rest lol maybe not so secret haha

Nope. Two can fit for sure in the back seat! Sometimes it may help to put the seats down for even more space !

Yes! I like Jowua's because it comes with a SUPER long USBC cable. However, SPigen's is good all you need is a long adapter from amazon

Great video and a new Y owner(3rd day). Getting PPF film and ceramic coat as I type this comment. Coming from driving other car brands, I am used to Android Auto or CarPlay, Google Maps, Waze. What are your thoughts about that perspective? Unless I missed your post, I didn't see any mention from you on that topic. Thought I heard rumors these might come in 2024 models.

Yeah none fit since the rear lip is too high. The 3d kind of fits but doesn’t look clean
first acessory I was looking up was the carbon fibre black mate covers to hide those hideous wooden panels. don't know if the glue will hold though

@@EverydayChris I got some of the rim case parts for my wife’s M3P and before installing them I noticed the instructions say they have to be removed. Do you just get fresh 3M tape for them?

What do you recommend for seat covers? I am shocked by the heat of seats and how they make me sweat. I sweat significantly less than most people and my prior cars, Lexus and BMW, had vegan leather and I had no issues. People who say this isn't a problem are kidding themselves. I find it embarrassing to have to pre-cool the interior and my mpge drops dramatically with heavy ac and pre-cooling. Pulling a t-shirt over the seat bottom solves the problem but really? Thanks.

I don't drive 80 on the freeway. I'm glad I went with refreshed M3 LR. The performance is nice though. I might get the boost , we will see

Hey guys, do you have any information on the Model Y? I went online to order a model Y Performance and I am unable to do that! The Model Y online interface has removed the "Custom Order" button and replaced it with "Shop Available". So Tesla right now is forcing people to buy the existing stock of Model Y, you cannot configure and order one. And within a 200 mile radius of my home there are no Model Y performance models available. What the heck is going on? Do you think this is because Tesla wants to clear out the existing stock of Model Y because the Juniper Refresh Model Y is actually ready early!?!?! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Seats are tough enough. Simba comes to the front seat all the time and he hasn't ripped the seats. BUt just in case we put it in the back

I have the tesmanian 1 piece roof sunshade and I love it. my tint shop refused to tint my roof saying that by doing so they have had issues with the roof leaking. I tinted my wife M3 roof but she has a 2 piece glass as the model y has 1 piece so it has kept my car cool

Instead of a radar detector, just change your top speed limit in the app and you won't have to worry about this phantom reason to have a radar detector. Oh, and wear a shirt for crying out loud. Try and look professional at least.
