Wow….. ppl don’t understand just HOW dangerous this is. Even if he had a life jacket on, that propeller creates a suction, and will send you underwater and spin you around to the point where you don’t which way is the surface basically. Sooooo many ppl drown this way, and I know that it’s not “required” to wear a life jacket, and I mean I’m not gonna lie, as a person who lives in Michigan, and knowing quite a few ppl over the years with boats to take out on the Great Lakes, I’ve been on a good share of boats and as a kid? I wore a life jacket at all times, but as an adult, it’s like we get it in our heads that we are “too cool to wear one” or that “we don’t need one since we are adults, and we aren’t gonna fall off, and even if we did, we can swim!” ESPECIALLY if you’re gonna be drinking and you’re doing something like this (sitting in a spot that’s very risky and requires you to HOLD ON, and pay attention to what’s coming), not very many ppl are strong enough… or should I say LUCKY enough to survive this….. I used to have a buddy that bought a boat but never had one before and didn’t go out on many before, so he didn’t know much about them. So he thought it would be fun / funny to do a swan dive off just right off the side of it while hitting speeds of about 40mph…. He came soooooo close to death that day it wasn’t even funny and I remember looking at him like “DON’T YOU EVER DO SOMETHING THAT STUPID EVER AGAIN BRO!!! WE ALMOST HAD TO PLAN A FUNERAL FOR YOU AND I AINT HAVING IT!”. It just blows my mind how many ppl will just buy boats or jet skis, and know absolutely NOTHING about them, or how to properly operate depending on situations such as traffic or how to cut a certain pattern depending on weather conditions. They just buy a boat and have this stigma of “YEA, YEA, I GOT IT! IT’S A BOAT! IT AINT HARD!!” Then we end up with MANY fatalities per year related to boating accidents and alcohol usually plays a pretty big role too. I know ppl die like this EVERY, SINGLE, SUMMER, on lake st Clair especially, being that’s a big “party lake”. Which also brings up the issue of buying any water crafts that are used, because you get fuckin morons that do shit like “turn on the motherfucker without having it in the water or hooked up to a hose” or “revving it up or hitting the gas relatively hard or at even a decent amount when approaching sandbars, shallower areas, and especially docks, and ends up sucking up a bunch of sand and seaweed and fucks up the engine” or “people that don’t realize they have to actually WINTERIZE IT, and they just leave it in a garage up north and it’s all worn and constantly has problems starting or will just fuckin die out in the middle of the lake…. Be RLLLLY careful when buying used PWC’s or boats….. they can be absolute money pits and not worth it. My uncle had a Cigarrette one back when I was like 6 years old I would say? It was a RLLLY fun boat, I remember he had this “chariot” instead of a tube which I thought was rlly cool and just “different” and honestly if you got kids and you’re worried about them falling off of a tube, a chariot is much better, because of the way it’s designed, you can either have like 1 person in it or up to 3 I wanna say, and because you kneel and kinda drag your feet in the water, there’s almost no way for you to flip that thing or fall off of it even if you manage to get it outside of the wake. But anyways, that boat was CONSTANTLY at the boat mechanic up the street getting worked on? Because something ELSE would happen to it and couldn’t even start the fucker. It was relatively new too. Cigarette one’s are rlllllllly expensive usually (at least for a speed boat with a small cabin but mostly built for performance), and idk how he bought it but I think it was used, but it was like brand new, but whoever first had it, they had obviously fucked it all up to the point where it was in the shop 80% of the time and could only get it out on the water 20% of the time. I remember he got a brand new jet boat though too after that boat, and that one was in the shop a bit too, but not nearly as much as the other one. Idk about you….. but I wouldn’t wanna pay in the neighborhood of $150k-$250k for a boat, that is constantly in the shop and get to take it out all of about 5-6 times per year IF YOU ARE LUCKY, and the other times, you’re just dumping even more money into it to get it repaired constantly, not to mention gas…. Those tanks are HUGE and it takes a lot of gas to move those things the way they can move and the power it puts out, and let’s just say that if you’re not making at least $100k a year, and that’s if you don’t have kids 😂😂😂, be careful and wise before getting a boat. Now I’m not saying that all boats are like that, or that there aren’t cheaper options. Ofc there are. Hell, my Dad found an amazing deal on this 20 foot bayliner deck boat that had a 2.4 L mercruiser in it (basically a 4 cylinder car engine to compare the 2), had plenty of seating, and was a rlly nice boat to take out on the water, started right up always, used it to go tubing and just to cruise around in general, and he bought it brand new and they were clearancing them, because they were “last year’s model” so he bought it for like $22k out the door with Everything…. Which was one hell of a deal, and when he sold it because we just didn’t have as much time any more and we couldn’t get it out on the water even nearly as much anymore, he actually made a profit lol. He sold it for like $26k, which the guy who bought it was happy with it, and he did get a good deal on it. You just gotta be RLLLLLY careful when it comes to boats and PWC’s and how much you invest, because you could potentially end up buying someone else’s problem in other words. BUT WEAR YOUR LIFEJACKET AT LEAST IF YOU’RE GONNA DO DUMB SHIT!! DAMN IT 😂😂😂

DAMN IT 😂😂😂
Wow. Thanks for the life story
Great anecdotes. Seems like you really love boats. I hope you get a nice well made boat for yourself some day.
Ain't no one reading all that.
next time hold it, he thinks he's jacky chan 😂😂😂
That's how people get seriously injured or even killed. He could have easily hit the prop! Not good.
Brilliant spot to sit AND not hold onto ANYTHING AT ALL! That’s yo friend.

This young man was saved ..... How can they get out with the rough sea like this and without the vest ...... very innocent😢
Idk if innocent is the word when it's a fully grown man. "Stupid" is more appropriate.
@@Dr.Rosenbaumpathetically stupid. He shouldn't be allowed to procreate. The stupidity is inherited.
