- Two burrowing owls live in my front yard. They just had a baby (owlet) late in the season. Here is a first look.
This was shot on a hacked Panasonic Lumix GH2 (Nostalgic Mode -2 -2 -2 -1) using an adapted MFT Canon FD 100mm Lens. In post, I increased the saturation with the Overall Saturation 1.2 Lumetri Looks Preset in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. I was going for a bright/nature look.

Apparently owls don't get the adjective of being "wise" for no reason. Just a side note, 5 hears ago I was in south florida and got out of my car in a sandy parking lot and was attacked by an owl on my ankle...turns out the owl (and family?) was living underground and I got too close. It hurt like hell !!! Don't mess with owls!!
How wonderful I couldn't help but notice they live in a pipe of some sort. Did you make that habitat so they would move in? If so, how did you do it?
