I spent the spring and summer of 2016 photographing and filming these wonderful little owls. Please take the time to watch the whole thing to see why I love them.
I'm back to watch this again in 2021. They seemed really curious about your car there. I noticed this time around that they do have REALLY LONG legs. I've only seen them from a distance or in captivity so you never get to see how long their legs really are until they're strutting like you captured at 7:34
Great video. I've seen them in Florida, but didn't see any when I was in Colorado (I assume this is Colorado, that looks like Mt. Evans in the background around 6:40).
I'm back to watch this again! Your burrowing owl photography is some of the best I've seen! I've been referencing your work in my work to savetheburrowingowl.org
@@doveguy123 I've seen your website! I didn't know you have a book. I just ordered it on Amazon! You capture absolutely stunning photographs of the burrowing owl. I just put some of your beautiful footage of these owls in a music video I made to educate the Girl Scouts about the burrowing owls. I hope you'll check it out! I added your UA-cam handle to the footage and link back to your video in the description. ^_^ ua-cam.com/video/SyIrFtjznAk/v-deo.html It's you and photoguy73 who've shared the best burrowing owl footage on UA-cam to date!
