Grants CVO was making 140hp at 5200rpm & 138ft/lbs at 3500rpm.
It was making 103ft/lbs at 2250rpm, 110ft/lbs at 2500rpm & 129ft/lbs at 3000rpm. So while it was making more HP with the S&S 550 Cam, it's now making a bucket load more torque much lower in the rpm range where this Tourer needs it. Believe me, it rides very VERY well now. I can't wait to get Grants reaction after his first ride.
Check my community page 24hrs from the time this was uploaded for the Dyno sheets of the other builds mentioned in the video.

Just built my 2019 street glide with trask turbo kit S&S 465 cam, 55mm intake, lifters, lifter cuffs, retainers, pushrods, trask clutch set up, S&S comp and ramp, trask 41 tooth chain drive conversion dyno jet computer, quick shifter
160hp 158tq
So much fun.. might come see you for more mate..
@@UPABRO-n6s is it still a 114ci ?
@@MasterTechMiller 107 unfortinately.. trask advise me not to go bigger then a 117 with the tornado kit so i was looking into warflow heads 117 crank and barrels, lower comp pistons and running more then the 8psi boost?
Sorry was hoping to figure out a short stroke crank to allow it to get to a 117 or i could go a 124 a.p.e and upgrade the turbo kit.. open to any ideas.. hoping to get it to 200+hp
@UPABRO-n6s use the S&S 4⅜" Flywheel with 4.250" Pistons. That will give you 124ci.
I am aware that the exhaust turbine is too small for these kits when you're wanting to make big power but it's a kit that has to accommodate a lot of different customers.
Will get intouch when km looking at getting the next stage done if you can fit it in mate
Happy new year and welcome back!
Thanks mate
Nice video Tommy, you are always straight taking about whats good or bad + an excellent tech. Keep up the great work mate . Cheers
Cheers mate!
Here's to a Great Year cobber🍻
Love your work tommy my stage plus with CR483 you built for me in my 114 low rider is mint getting consistent 11.5 seconds @ willowbank 👌
That's awesome to hear mate! Glad it's running strong.
I was wondering where you’d disappeared to! Glad to have you back.
Would be interesting if HD gave you a bit of a bump on their socials. Perhaps there’s a collaboration in there this year.
I could only hope they would.
Can I trouble you with a (hopefully) quick question? I’ve had a full on 131 kit put on my Fatboy complete with SE camplate, oil pump S&S lifter cuffs etc etc, now going to change the cam (and pipe) for a woods knight prow.er and D&D Fatcat -my question is do I need to change lifters and cam bearing when doing it? The kit has been in about 700MILES (defo less than 1000m) - about 1100-1200km - don’t want to skimp but don’t want to waste money either - whaddya recon? Value your opinion 👍
@odetterollinson-davies4543 hey mate, thanks for the comment. Your lifters will be fine to use on the new cam. No worries at all.
@ superb! And thank you for the quick reply 👍 keep up the great content
@odetterollinson-davies4543 thanks for watching
Awesome content mate and hello from Georgia in the U.S. Love the videos and you convinced me on the cyclerama brand, I install the 480MT in my 22 limited and absolutely love it!
Hi Tommy, love your work and videos. Is it possible to replace the piston jets with the cylinders off or do you have to completely disassemble and split the cases?
Great question Jim. It can be done with the cylinders off, you just have to be VERY careful & take your time. If you drop one of the little screws or the gaskets down behind the Flywheel you van almost bet your house you'll be splitting the cases to get it out.
Screaming Eagle has a 6 speed upgrade from the Harley parts catalogue
Sure does! $6500aud plus fitting
what do you think about the CR515 cam in the new gen2 m8 117 you think will perform well?
Absolutely 💯
8:52 Easy. Click up twice from first. Kids these days wanting all the gears...
😂🤣😂
2 a month come on jk love what you do your channel should be taking off thank you for the videos
@@formdog9861 cheers mate
How’d the low rider s go with the 122 kit ? I’m thinking about doing the same I have the s&s 475 already 117hp 126 torque it’s great wouldn’t mind that little bit more just wondering if it’s worth the money? . Cheers mate
@@benmarmo374 it went 140hp & 150ft/lbs with the APE Heads & CR515 Camshaft
@ awesome thanks mate wish I found you a year ago love your work 🤘🏼
what cam would you choose for the gen 2 117 cr483 or cr515 and why ?
They are 2 different cams with 2 different goals. While the CR483 is a great balance of Power & Torque, the CR515 is more focused on mid to top end HP.
I guess it would depend on what the customer wanted as to what I would recommend.
For me personally, I'd probably go for the CR515 as is has the potential to accommodate big bore builds if that was something I was considering in the future
@@MasterTechMiller wow thank you this by friend how nice you took your time to give me your opinion .
Hey Tommy ‘ what was the Dyno on the sport glide with the 480 ‘ I’m looking at doing the 480 mt on my sport glide’ cheers mate ‘ good to see ya back ‘ great vlogs 😊👍
@danielletoselli214 I'll post the Dyno Graph on the community section on the channel tomorrow so you guys cam check them all out
Master Tech Miller, had my local HD dealer install the 2020 oil pump, cam chain tensioner, the SE lifters and adjustable push rods and the SE Power Cam 462. I paid for a Power Vision license and the shop was going to tune it, it’s been 4 try’s and the engine is noisy and check engine codes P0132 and P0152 each time I picked it up after riding less than a mile. Could it be something wrong with the parts install that is causing the engine noise, mostly in the top end? Thanks
Oh, it’s a 2018 CVO Street Glide
It’s hard to say, but I’d get in touch with the shop and explain that the engine noise is concerning. You’ve already paid for tuning and it seems like they’re still struggling with getting it right. The codes you are getting are related to the 02 sensors which obviously indicates a poor tune.
I would recommend a full Dyno Tune by a decent tuner if you have one close.
I would probably start by inspecting the pushrod adjustment to ensure there is no noise coming from the lifters. Failing that, it's very hard to say what the noise could be without hearing it myself.
