Destiny has a lot of Tombs. Some of these were backdrops for Crucible maps, others existed as part of Exotic Quests. But even the environmental storytelling and grimoire cards is enough to spin up the creativity cycle of thoughts and theories. What ancient Hive god was buried here? Who’s resting at Aphelion’s rest? Sjur Eidos Tomb and even super spartans of old. Let’s dive right in.

I understand the hope dude, but you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. The nine are entirely bonded to the nine planets (including Pluto) in our solar system. They aren’t even paracausal they’re just dark matter entities. They have no influence on what goes on inside of the traveler and that’s where the entirety of Final Shape happens so I’m sorry but no.

Seems to be a translation issue, because Aphelion's Rest is 'Aphels Ruhestätte' in german, suggesting that it is the (Grave?) of an Awoken, maybe?

Probably just a german translation error because the german translation had errors in the past. (And its kinda shit)
So its probably still aphelions but the german translation fucked up. The english gets made first, so its the original how its supposed to be

My guess is that because Osiris was more obsessive back then, he had grown callous towards Saint-14's death. It also happened a while before the main story of Destiny starts, so he might have just learned to live with it

for the cathedral of dusk, i always assumed they had a shard of the traveler buried there. the symbol on the alter reminds me of the traveler, and "Dusk" is usually referring to light meeting dark, or lighting fading into dark. hell maybe Oryx figured out the deceit of the witness and made this as a sort of grave to who they could have been, accepting the witness wholeheartedly. "killing" who he could have been, growing stronger through the sword logic.
