Related to the antibody study, we were able to do something similar with wastewater surveillance. We quantified the amount of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in wastewater, coupled that with shedding rates, and estimated the number of people who were infected over time. That helped identify a more accurate denominator for calculating mortality rates, overall level of immunity, etc. And all we needed was for people to keep flushing their toilets.
Did wastewater surveillance increase after the rollout? Also do you happen to know when the first USA case was detected? I’ve always felt like COVID was in California way before they were willing to admit.
Every nurse in service during the Indian flu epidemic during 1918 could tell you that masks were completely ineffective, not to mention actual mechanical science comparing the sizes of the viruses vs. the sizes of the breathing pores. Does it take a PhD. writing a study to make a common sense policy?

Copernicus thought about things, Tycho Brahe collected data, Kepler and Newton analysed it.
Separation of powers is a good idea, up to a point, but, effectively, it isn't enough. England had supremacy of Parliament for centuries, and it was good, but it was rotted by Tony Blair, with a Supreme Court, a bad step backwards. Eventually, we need virtuous persons.
whose goal? and why would anybody set an unachievable goal for himself? and where is the cost assessment? and is lying an acceptable method for achieving your goals

This is a really enlightening talk. I like the phrase "the greasy pole of the scientific establishment". The NIH and CDC really need cleaning up.
