ANOVA or analysis of variance is caried out when you have two and more group means. One way ANOVA is appropriate when you have one IV with more than two categories. The categories can be five and more. In this case you will have five group means. However before you delve in to ANOA be sure all assumptions are met and you select parametric type of ANOVA.
