I'm having trouble creating the correct data file on Excel for ANOVA. I am working on a variation of audio recordings against Standard British English of three vowel sounds. The data obtained from the audio recordings are in pairs, F1 and F2. So, each vowel and speaker recorded produced varying F1 and F2 for each word where those three vowel sounds are produced. I also have data on the gender, age group, and educational background of the speakers. How do I create the data file?
Hi, it is interesting. You can organize the data in an Excel spreadsheet, with columns representing the variables (e.g., Vowel Sound, Speaker ID, F1, F2, Gender, Age Group, and Educational Background). Each row should contain a unique observation with corresponding data. The data file can then be used for ANOVA analysis using statistical software.
Hello Prof. Can i do one way Anova with individual Likert items (Measured on 5 point scale), which are part of a formative construct in my study? I am confused whether i can go with ANOVA, as Likert items are ordinal in nature. Request you to please clarify and provide an appropriate reference.. Regards, Karan
