- Good Evening ladies and gents. Here is part 2 to Romulan Surprise. I give you, Romulan Demise. I have an epilogue scene so watch the whole thing. Lets just say, I have more plans for this vessel in the future. Stay tuned. And as always...enjoy!

@@critter30002001 Same here too. The Ares-class is a truly awesome Starfleet warship/starship designs (along with the Defiant-class and Sovereign-class).
This has everything you could wish for and more, I love that 360 torpedo shot from above, I don't know how long you worked on this but it must have been a lot of hours, you did a great job on this.
Can you send me a time stap for that 360 torpedo shot please

The Detroyat-class looks patterned after or maybe a refit of the decommissioned earlier Ares-class? Pretty cool! A few things to note. This is the later 23rd century. I think most ships had pulse-phaser canons replace the older blue Andorian phasers by this time? The fire fight should reflect this upgrade instead of the solid orange phaser beam. Also the Romulan Z1 Nova-class was a threat at this time as well. I've never seen a Romulan attack vessel with a saucer section? Well, there's always a first. Great video! It must've took a long time to make. Thank you. 👍😃
The Detroyat is a FASA design, I think. Not a refit of the Ares at all though. They're two distinct classes. That is a beautiful take on what a refit Detroyat would look like though.

Gotta love, the homing torpedoes. Great action and the background Chanting from the Starfleet Choirboys. It added to the level of not only excitement but pure joy of being entertained.

Love the use of both types of phasers. I miss seeing/hearing the deafening TWOK pulse phasers in canon.

Very nice. At first I thought maybe it was a TMP updated Ares class, until I saw the ship's registry. She sure looks different from the TOS style Destroyat, and is a LOT more heavily armed.

@@captain1334 Actually no. The Detroyat Class is a TOS vessel of its own. THIS vessel, is my version of a TMP refit of the Detroyat. I could probably make an Aries TMP refit tho.
I liked the star grabbing tractor beam. And made the star or ship go boom 💥. 💥 it's cool love the ships too whatever; there classes were or refits.

Great video. In the beginning I was getting annoyed cuz we know how to federation never seems to like to turn forward and bring all weapons to bear but you sure did it. I like the use of the phaser turret pulse and just the regular straight line phaser I thought that was excellent

I fear my enthusiasm for your work may have come across the wrong way or wasn't received the way it was intended.
Your vision is extraordinary and your love of Star Trek lore is apparent as you get the feel of the starships. The Klingons move aggressively, The Romulans creep stealthily even when moving fast and your Federation ships you nail from stem to stern. Would you consider making an ambient music loop and take us on a journey using sound effects from the series and movies? Envisioning a starship orbiting a planet and hearing a transporter sound and minutes later a transporter signal, beam activation and off to the next, planetary investigation, deep space encounter, space dock, ship rescue in an asteroid field and home again. I am always trying to search for ambient music and I believe with your vision you could do it as well as take us on a journey, your journey. If you need donations tell me how things are produced and costs, it would be worth the investments.
Again thank you for your beautiful work it is always a pleasure to see and hear.

How in the hell does a Romulan ship rematerialize ? The Starfleet ship reminds me of Captain Charlie Reynolds from DS9 Dominian War.

I do have a question: Why did you choose the Romulan craft to look like a Starfleet craft?
Thank you! I chose this look because in the beginning, it started off as an Orion vessel. I saw something about ole pirates mimicing friendly vessels on the sea, so I had an idea to have the Orions have a starfleet looking vessel (a bit like the one from Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates) but with holo emitters like the Romulan vessel from Enterprise.
But once I got there, I just ended up changing it from Orion to Romulan. Thats why in part 1, Romulan Surprise, she mimics an Okinawa Class frigate.
She will mimic other Federation vessels in the future…

As well, I recall an episode of Original Star Trek, where Kirk crossed the Neutral Zone, that the Romulans were using Klingon design ships. Your design of the Romulan craft fits right in with Cannon.

this feels much more like a hard fight that could have gone either way then the previous starfleet invisshield battles. your romulan designs are... interesting? look like Star Fleet ripoffs. also what the hell happened at the end?? was it a decoy that was blown up???

Okay I'm confused at the ending. Did the romulans legit use a holo projector to simulate them being destroyed? I think that's kind of pushing it for their holo projection technology. I doubt the sensors would not pick up any unusual activity.
Hold up. Did a Starfleet ship just destroy a...STAR!? Realize the amount of energy a star gives off on exploding? Even imploding?? I would not be ANYWHERE near that sector when a star goes nova. Would wipe out a whole Romulan Fleet, base, and the system they are trying to attack or protecting.
It didn't destroy the star, it just ignited nuclear fusion on the surface with a controlled tractor beam. The explosion disrupted an infitesimal area of the star's outer shell, which would not seriously damage the star's integrity. The romulan ship, however, just got a face full of extremely hot plasma.

I like that fed ship a lot...not sure why people are thinking Ares-class though....it's clearly more akin to a centaur with a secondary hull, which just looks amazing.

Ah, you're right. I didn't even look at that, since this would be the first Detroyat, TOS or refit, with an engineering hull like that instead of the usual "block wedge".

Romulan be copying Starfleet and Klingon Designs
Not to bad but your ship has a design flaw, according to trek rules at least for Federation, klingons and romulans those warp necelles need line of sight to each other because they need it to establish a warp field. anything between them will disrupt the field at best creates an unstable warp field which could end in the ship destroying itself. These are Gene's rules for star ship designs.
Yeah no, it’s canon that the “nacelle” rule doesn’t exist just because the original creator yapped about it.
