Stunningly beautiful, and it doesn't have the usual fare of rehashed 57-year-old Star Trek scenes, instead it uses voiceovers, it's an exceptionally well-crafted piece of artwork: and extremely well done🤔
very nicely animated and good attention to detail the enteprises shields take 6 torpedoes before going down which is accurate... although i noticed the Klingon disruptors originate from the wrong point its actually on either side of the underside of the "Pizza slice"
As I recall, according to the original technical manuals D-7s have three phasers on the bottom of the ball, then two "waist" phasers on the main hull at the front and two pairs of two more on the main hull that in general can only fire backwards. This was the manual that was used to spec the phaser locations for Klingon cruisers in Starfleet Battles. Some Klingon ships did not have the two front phasers on the main hull but all had the three on the underside of the ball and four at the rear of the main hull. The "torpedo tube" at the front of the ball only became that in the motion picture, before that it was a navigational deflector. Of course there have been so many retcons nothing is certain any more, including the "remastered" version of TOS putting a torpedo launcher there.
Wow...!! One more "perfect" scene...!! I had not seen this one yet and it's PERFECT...!! Just like the "dog fight", this one brings the beginning of the conflict (that I hadn't seen) and it's excellent...!! You have a very nice sense of pace for the space battles...!! I'll keep discovering your creations...!! Congratulations...!!!!
The problem I have with Trek battles is the slowness of them. In star wars they throw everything, the same in BSG and others. In real life they wouldn't causally past each other. Then they are in space, yet all maneuvers are 2d not 3d. The effects are great, it is the actual battle that needs work. Look at naval battles to get an idea of tactics.
The thing that bugs me about many of the otherwise outstanding pieces of work, like this one . Is the asteroid belt fetish. GO on , do a recut with no roids :)
@@kingsman8475 yes he just sat around. The ship was getting a pummeling and he never fired or tried evasive or tried to hide behind the rocks and asteroids...
All in the plan - the two things you can count on with the Klingons: their arroance and their overconfidence. Kirk suckered them in with the 'rope-a-dope' strategy.
Wondering why the rear (aft) torpedo bay was not used for the enterprise, she has them Good animation and great using the audio from various movies/tv shows
Yes cc would be helpful too. But well done and a way to win over a no win scenario in this case focus stuff to transfer crews from the enterprise to 1 klingon ship beaming over at the same time and sacrifice the enterprise and warp off back to the federation 😊❤
Visuals, models and effects are excellent (though the explosions on hull impact are physically unrealistic but cinematically accurate). But why does the Enterprise not even attempt anything resembling evasive combat maneuvers? And why don't the Klingons make any use of their numerical superiority and cloaking technology to surround the Enterprise for a multi-vector attack? Where is the 3-dimensionality of space combat?
Did you notice the Klingon ship off to the left of the screen, earlier in the flight through the asteroids? It was pretending to be the freighter as part of the Klingon trap.
Kirk let's see how good zilla is Czilla oh my shilds! Phaser now full spread correction fire at will ah hall been compromised Phaser out torpedoe non responsive Czilla ramming speed! @Manny Mixx hummmm not really the Kobayashi Maru simulation or mission is it ? the idea was there was a distress call from a Freighter , Civilian , medical ship or Space station , Starbase in the neutral Zone into Klingon Space ! then the idea is to try and rescue the Freighter or the crew of the Freighter before Klingons blow it up !! the Kobayashi Maru can go in Meany directions - 1) the fighter is destroyed ! or 2) there was no Freighter and just a trap set by Klingons ! - (the one your showing ) but most Kobayashi Maru simulation or mission has to do with trying to rescue a ship in distress . that is kinda missing from the video the Distress call - and the video is more like what was suppose to happen at the end of both movies ST:TPM and ST:TWOK but was scrapped due to time and budget limitations . still nice animation but still minor nit pick if this is suppose to be thethe Kobayashi Maru simulation or mission then where is the destress call ? just sayin . ok all good ! :) love the animation and well done ! :)
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and greatly executed in every shape way and form provided indeed, I would love to see how it truly all ends indeed?.
You sampled dialog from Star Trek The Motion Picture. I don't know why you didn't include any dialogue from Wrath Of Khan, specifically the dialogue including the Kobyashi Maru distress call? That sets up the entire reason the USS Enterprise enters the Romulus Neutral Zone in the first place! Great animation though!
Kobayashi Maru is the most brutal combat simulation scenario. Every three D7s you destroy causes three more to appear until your crew are all killed. It's no wonder someone like Kirk would surreptitiously rewrite the program to win. For people like him there is no such thing as default defeat. These are the exact kind of people you want in command.
and that is what SHOULD happen when you go into a ludicrously dense asteroid field where you can't see 1000 meters in front of your face! very good use of the voice lines. My only quibble here is the Klingon ships would have fired EVERYTHING not just their PTs as they had the drop. its the only reason enterprise is still alive.

It's great to be able to enjoy these fan created treats of actual Star Trek, since it is the only real Trek which is likely to be produced for at least a decade or 2.
Nobody ever made a version of the Enterprise that really takes advantage of how Jefferies came up with the design. It started out as a ring around a cone, morphed into a flying saucer, and then had the engineering hull stuffed up under it. It really is a terrific flying saucer. The other thing is the torpedo in the nose of the Klingon ship just doesn't make sense to me. There is no room in the connection to the engineering hull to pack all the plumbing it would require to charge the weapon. It's like putting a 16" gun in a crow's nest.
@@the_once-and-future_king. Sorry, After 44 years of trying to square this circle, I've given up. As far as "health & safety" goes, I always imagined that being the reason the command hull was so far from the engineering hull. The containment on the reactors might not be quite up to Federation OSHA standards, and the people working in the aft hull, not entitled to the same level of safety as a loyal Klingons.
@Paul Kent Spot on. In case of a major disaster in the back, the head and neck would detach to be used as a lifeboat for the command crew (who were usually part of high-born families). The commander would often then kill the head of the ships' construction facility for giving him a defective vessel.
OK, um, I am curious why a torpedo would need to be connected to the engineering section. I've not seen anything that would suggest they need to be anything more than armed (which is basically switched on) and loaded. I'm open to being wrong, I just dunno where that would come from. I also don't know how much room one would need in the neck to do, whatever it is you think it needs to do. Again, happy to be wrong, just don't really get where the conclusion comes from.
👍😍😍😍😍 Amazing work you did there? It's hard to believe that that was not done by a big budget studio. I guess it just goes to show. You don't need a whole ton of money to make really good animation. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more videos from you
Of all the vessels that have proudly bore the name Enterprise, the Constitution Refit is my favorite. Just beautiful!
The K'tinga gives her a run for her money, though!
I love the Constitution II as well
I LOVE the phaser and shield effects

That's a beautiful ship you made. Great video.
Superb !!!! Enjoyed every second. Great job 😍
Wow! Very awesome.
The "just sit there" maneuver is a very interesting strategy.
What strategy….it’s just plain stupid no starship captain would do that!!!
Gotta say, it takes serious balls to fly a Constitution Class starship into an asteroid field that dense.
Sulu must be at the helm.
Great imagery. Is there a possibility for subtitles? Some of us are hearing impaired/deaf. Regardless, well done. 👍
Absolutely! That is a great idea. Thank you for suggesting it, and thanks for watching!

Not invented by him originally but in the Kelvin timeline, it appears so.
What kind of stupid strategy is just standing still while your ship takes a pounding????

Klingons have their torpedoes ready with full-yield antimatter warheads. They don't do variable-yield, and view health & safety as an inconvenience.
