- Good Evening ladies and gents. So, this will actually be part one of a two (or three) part episode. At first, this
vessel started off as Orion. Mainly inspired from a video I saw about pirates pretending to be friendly vessels
before showing their true flags. So I originally had an idea for an Orion vessel to pretend to be Starfleet, a bit like the look of the Brigand Class from Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates.
However, after I posted the other video and getting a few opinions, I changed her from being an Orion vessel to Romulan.
So, because the original video was already planned out and nearly completed, I decided to just finish it and make it a "part-one". Part two will have a bit more action and will be out in maybe 2 months.

Synopsis:
Detroyat responding to distress call. Drops out of warp into system with a Federation vessel adrift in space. Discovers its actually a Romulan vessel in disguise. Has a small confrontation and attempts to flee and notify Starfleet. Romulan vessel pursues Detroyat to the next system. To be continued...

Very nicely done! Love the designs of all vessels, even the decoy federation starship Okinawa. They all have a similar aesthetic to the Starfleet Command games. 🖖

The Romulan Holo ship looks oddly like a federation starship
It's reasonable. TOS era, Romulans warp drive would be inferior, and they were copying Klingons to try to catch up. This seems to be after TOS, and exist in the Movie era afterword. The federation ship reminds me of the Excelsior of that time. Mostly the dish . They might of experimented with what they saw with federation to see if they could improve. But the problem is they violated the nacelle rules, where they have to see each other. They can't have the hull directly in between.
Oddly it does, but them sneaky pointy eared Space👿 Devils, are always coming up with new ways to make fools 🤡out of its enemy's. From time to time.🤔
Outstanding!!!!!!🤩 The video presentation was Eye👀🍬🍬 Candy for me, I somehow got too excited at Muh Adult👴 Age. I forgot to act Muh Age, felt like a Kid👱 again. Cannot wait to see part 2. Hope there is a lot more Phaser and Torpedo fire and space carnage. True fans of Trek love🥰 this kind of stuff. It's what Happiness🤗 is made from.

Hm... For some reason, the warp-sequence here looks more like a hyperspace-sequence from Star Wars, especially the jumpout.

Once again, smooth movement nice lines on the ships and a good bit of action, what more could you want, very nice work.

Unless that romulan was equipped with a phase cloak that first torpedo would have hit it when it began cloaking, but this was really cool

Animation was pretty smooth and the lights and sounds acted accordingly. My only critique would have to make the Romulan ship a little more so or I saw another comment about the Flea drone so maybe something a little more like that. Looking forward to the next part or finale, curious if the Destroyat is leading them into a trap themselves or not.

Nice sequence. I still want to point out how ridiculous the "man-in-the-loop" is for the operation of these ships. The ships don't operate at high percentages of lightspeed except with warp drive so during combat consider anything under 3 million kilometers per second. 3 x 10^6. If you could execute a command in one millisecond (.001 sec) your position would be off by 3000 km. Humans cannot react like that of course but if they were interfaced like Borg (or cyberpunk) you'd get into the 100 ms range. Recognize how much more maneuvering room a human directed ship needs to keep track... and now lightspeed limitation gets into the issue. Where is the target? You can likely see where it WAS but now like in "Forever War" is becomes a probability calculation...

when a ship is following another ship at warp could the lead ship drop torpedos as mines? It appears that when they are following the ship they are directly behind?
Was the registry number (NCC-150) for the "Okinawa" deliberately low to indicate that the Romulans has made a mistake when they did up their ship disguise?
I'll have to go through you other videos however what program do you use to design the ships? And this is why I still play klingon academy. Nice to have a quick space battle, even if it's in a nebula

A Romulan cloaking device making holographic images of federation ships cool and can fire at warp speed. Okay 1 of the Romulans must have worked for section 31 to make this happen. Just a theory. Hmm 🖖🏻 💭 yup awesome job 👏 👌 👍
