I started working out a couple month ago and i tried some of these helped me see how much i needed to work on my arms, but ive got plenty of time better start now
I bought myself a KB weighing at 20lb and have not worked out for two weeks. Before my two week break I worked out 10 months straight and going back at it again
Hi Chris, greetings from Portugal! Excellent kettlebell workout, thank you. I’m a minimalist with workout equipment so this is a great workout for just a small set of kettlebells. Have you put together a workout to support the surfing muscles? Season Greetings!
You are so welcome. Start experimenting and doing as many of these exercises as you can and more represented on our channel. A kettlebell can become your best friend in your workouts!!
How heavy are your kettlebells? You can definitely gain quality muscle with kettlebells if they're heavy enough. A 35lb/16kg kettlebell probably won't build as much muscle as a pair of 70lb/32kg dumbbells or a 225lb/102kg barbell. That's why they make heavier kettlebells.
I was wondering if you could tell me whether kettlebell arm exercises would be equal in terms of muscle gain as lifting a heavy dumbbell? I know nothing about working out, and I’ve heard mixed reviews saying it’s different, it can’t be done, it won’t give you as much muscle as a dumbbell would for that same amount of weight/time lifting, etc…. I’m watching your video and saying to myself that has to not be true, what others are saying. It’s still a heavy weight being lifted in the same ways as a dumbbell, basically. What do you think? I chose a kettlebell over dumbbells this weekend and now I’m not sure if I made the right move. All I want to do with it is lift, not cardio (I do that on separate equipment). Thanks for your time!
Hi! Great question! Kettlebells are just as beneficial and possibly more so than dumbbells. Kettlebells can help you build strength and power while also, engaging more core, forearm, and stabilizer muscles. The unique shape makes it more unwieldy making exercises more challenging which leads to more results in the gym. If you prefer a more body builder style approach you may prefer dumbbells. Kettlebells have more versatility and leans more toward an athletic approach. I hope this helps! Its great to incorporate both. Keep mixing things up to trick your body while also keeping it more interesting. Thanks for supporting the channel!
@@Criticalbench this is such a helpful response! Thanks so much! Working out is basically foreign to me unfortunately, but I need to start! I really appreciate your time, and I’m excited to get this kettlebell and get started!
Ybells are less cumbersome and maneuver more easily. The awkwardness and unwieldy aspects of kettlebells are great for engaging more of your core and stabilizers. Both are useful! Thanks for supporting the channel!
This is a video for no one. If you have a gym membership, you are doing arms with dumbbells or cables. If you are working out at home, you have only a couple KB’s you use for the exercises they are intended for: swings squats and presses. The vast majority of women don’t do arm isolation work. And they are the only ones with kettlebells light enough to be used in single arm movements. The gym bros who like to do direct arm training are not kettlebell guys. In reality the only two moves you need as a kettlebell only person who wants to train arms is the single KB overhead tricep extension and the single KB bent over paused bicep curl to the chest.

I bought a kettle bell several months ago. It’s been a great addition. I think it builds strength better.
Yes it does!
I have KB's in my home gym so I appreciate being able to try something new.
Wonderful! We can't wait for you to try it 👍
This is a great way of keeping my home gym equipment to a minimum, using my kettlebells for what would otherwise require more dumbells. Thanks!
Absolutely!
GRACIAS ,muy buena video con movimientos precisos que facilitan la pratica.

Is it possible to gain muscle by just using kettlebells at home or do you need to gym and do free weights and bench?
You can gain some, but only so far. You need progressive overload to continue to gain muscle.

Modify your grips to increase finger strength
*Edit* I meant that as an option not an order lol

@@daronson9 it means you shouldn't work out with kettle bells. Try jogging.
YBells are far superior and much more versatile for these exercises
