Kettlebell training can transform your body! Discover 15 of the MUST DO exercises to gain strength from head to toe...
The kettlebell is easily one of the most diverse strength tools available. With just one KB you can train your entire body effectively. In recent years (the last decade or so) KBs have become extremely popular... you can find pink and yellow - 5, 10 and 20 lb kettlebells all over the place making it less intimidating for the beginner lifters and the ladies. This did not used to be the case....
Initially the kettlebell came over from Russia a few decades ago and took time to gain popularity. This intimidating iron ball with a handle on it was not available in most gyms. Picking up a 24kg (53 lb) kettlebell for the first time gets your attention. It DOES NOT feel like a dumbbell. Handling it doesn't feel like anything you've ever done before however the benefits of using it well are hard to count.
Kettlebell training strengthens your muscles, connective tissue, mind-muscle connection, improves breathing practices, improves mental focus, brings balance to the body, corrects poor posture and the list goes on...
While there are literally 100s of exercises to do with kettlebells, these happen to be 15 of my favorite. Doing just a fraction of these exercises will help strengthen the entire body and wear you out!
Here are 15 MUST DO Kettlebell Exercises
1) KB Deadlift
2) KB Swing
3) KB Clean
4) KB Press
5) KB (Goblet) Squat
6) KB Snatch
7) Double KB Swing
8) KB Row
9) KB Chest Press
10) KB Bottoms Up Curl
11) KB Arm Extension
12) KB Turkish Get Up
13) KB Farmer's Carry

Kettlebells are no joke. I have lost body weight, gained definition all over my body, and noticed an increase in overall strength. Thanks for sharing.
No doubt they are terrific. Some of the most fit and strongest people I know train routinely with kettlebells. Chris 😉💪🏻
Good job Coach Chris. Looking good. Tough workout! My back does not like the kettlebell so we'll. I stick to my dumbbells & other items 💜
Thanks for watching :-)
Lighten the load and work up more gradually. Weight training is a marathon, not a Sprint.

Yes they are!
Glad iv found the kettle bells and enjoying these work outs. I'm pretty out of shape and weak in my left arm and struggling with a 10kg. Best to go to buy 8kg or 6kb? Thanks!
Thanks 😊 Go to 6kg and work up from there!
Great demonstrations. What brand of bells are those?
Thank you 🙏 I believe these were purchased through Rogue. I’m not 💯 sure. Just be sure to get real all iron bells... nothing with rubber or coverings.
I am here due to lockdown! I have two 26KG kettlebells. Already smashing the swings, snatch, clean! Trying to achieve one arm overhead Squat.
Nice work!!

To anyone who works at a desk all day - do the swings! You’ll be sitting upright all day as if your spine was a steel rod.
Lmao that would drive me nuts I work 6-6 on your feet shifts sole reason I started working out and now I'm one of the fastest out of 3 or 4 people
She calls it my steel rod ...... nah, I’m single

Those skull KBs are sick!
Sure are
I think that was code for "...where can I get those...?"
awesome! I got a couple kettle bells on the way.
Right on!
Should I try all 15 workouts with multiple rounds for each exercise ?
I would split these up rather than do all 15 in one workout.
@@Criticalbench so I do 5 different workouts every day of three days with maybe 2 or 3 rounds each depending on my stamina ?
That was a great workout using Kettlebell. Can you please tell me how many reps and rounds recommend for these 15 exercises.
10-12 reps of each exercise
Will try to his tomorrow
Awesome! We can't wait for you to try it!
Thank you for kettle bell demonstration. Excellent post!
And thank you! Glad you liked it
👏awesome
Thank you! Cheers!
Is there a significant difference in benefit between a single arm swing and a clean? They seem like very similar movements, but the clean has a bit of a pause at the top. Thanks for all of the exercise ideas!
I love this workout 🏋️♀️ thanks 🙏

Thnks man
No problem!

Yeah!! 😎
What is the difference between working one side at a time vs. working both sides simultaneously? For example, for the chest press, should you do a double chest press or one side at a time? Which yields the greatest benefit?

Great Video, are you using the same weighted kettle-bell throughout what I mean I take it that there are different designs but same weight ?, what Kg kettle-bell you recommend using ?
Yes, Coach Chris is using various weights. What you want to do is choose weights for each exercise that will challenge you so that you get the most benefit from the workout however, be sure to also choose weights that allow you to execute each exercise properly
Love the vid!!! These will definitely help me with my workout. Only problem is your farmer's tan was very distracting.
We can't wait for you to try the exercises!
This music makes me feel like it is 2013.
AJ Pappas please elaborate.

Good ole dubstep. Love it
I usually do my carries unilaterally for frontal plane stability . 1 bucket being harder than 2
Nice!
Great vid, how about some Willie Nelson instead of this backing track??
super
Thank you
I want that skull kettlebell, what company sells them? Awesome workout too, great ideas for different routines.
Order real skull kettlebells direct from Syria, courtesy of good ole USA.......
small sizes readily available!
Iron skull fitness, Galion, Oh, Ive actually been there, I know the guy who owns the building. Made in the USA.
That skull was made from an actual skull from Africa, each weight just change ratio in size
Thank you, how many reps per exe!!
viviana bernal Sorry we missed this question. 5-10 reps are a great start. 5 reps with heavier weights, 10 or so with light to moderate weights.
Thanks Chris , i have just started putting KB'S in my weight routine as i have been doing the Gym since 1989 90 ish , and really enjoy what i have learn from your Channel ,,, i do my xtra trainng outside on the Farm where i live in Northern Ontario Canada .... it sure helps in so many ways being 55 now and feeling like a 27 yr old lol,,,, true story ,,, thanks again have a Beauty Summer ...... but i love winter lol...
Thanks so much for watching Daryl!
Hi there just wondering do u do all these exercises in one day how many reps and sets do u do and how many times a week would u want to be doing them thanks brilliant video 👍💪
Great question. I would begin by selecting 3-5 of the movements demonstrated and do 5-8 reps per exercise. Do 3 rounds with rest periods of 60 secs or so between rounds. Kettlebell training is technical so give it time to get good at these lifts and start with light to moderate weight.
Thanks for getting back to me I do a 100 kettlebell swings every day so I want to mix it up 👍
That's awesome. Swings and deadlifts are your core KB exercises, do more of those than anything to get amazing at the hip hinge 👍😆
Criticalbench
I see basically three movements breakdown:
1. Tabletop position
2. Hike the football 🏈
3. Standing PLANK
Great exercises. I assume gym shoes are optional ? ;)
Yes they are with many of these moves. You're more grounded with kettlebells when barefoot.
Been bodybuilding, & weight-lifting for 45 years, & have recently started using kettle bells to enhance & improve my atheticism.
Awesome! Keep up all your hard training and you'll be great... we appreciate your efforts! 💪
Brilliant video, thank you so much for showing these exercises. A much underestimated piece of equipment, that helps muscle growth in many areas people wouldn't think about. Now I don't have to be frustrated that other apparatus is taken up in my gym, I can use these instead.
Absolutely!! Thank you so much Richard. I love KBs. They've been instrumental in my training for 7 years now. So glad you found this. Cheers!!
Great video.
Can the double kettlebell exercises be done with odd sets, I've 12kg and 16kg
It's not really optimal, however I would not say don't do it. If you can get another 12 or 16kg kettlebell that would be great. If no I would at least recommend switching kettlebells with each set, doing 4 rounds to give each side an equal workout as far as volume moved.
All the pressing movements and farmer's walk are great using uneven weight. It adds another challenge. Just remember to switch the weights each set.
Very good. Most of the videos of weight exercises are obsessed with their own body and show such exercise bare chested to show off their body.
Thanks for watching
15 must do kettlebell exercises... Meh
Strong from head to toe... Omg I'm in
How'd you do?!
@@Criticalbench realized a bench will be a good next equipment to buy, can pull out 12 out of the 15 with my 35pounders, haven't try the double kb swing and not strong enough yet for turkish get up and the snatch
How many of each do you think I should do if I pick a handful of them that’s my issue is how many to make it effective
If time is a problem, split them up into 3 different routines of 5 exercises each
Your Form is on point ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching
Just starting with kettlebells. Great vid.
Less talk, more demonstrations. Thanks
More to come!
Very useful video, thank you
You are welcome!! Chris
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
A few of the exercises are true kettlebell exercises (full body movements), the rest are muscle specific ones that you can do with dumbbells.
The weight distribution is always going to be different though so in that way they are still unique.
Wow Chris! That was crazy. Looks like a hard but very good workout. Well done Coach 🙂👌
Thank you Princess Vanessa! :-)
Going to being buying another bell to have a matched pair.
Sounds good!!
What brand of kettlebell bell is he using?
Coach KB turkish get up whats value/benefit of that and what part of body does it hit ? never understood that :)
Turkish get up is a great functional movement that not only builds strength but also increase your overall body stability, awareness, balance, and coordination.
Criticalbench thanks
