I own a 2008 Discovery 3 SE V8 with 90k miles on it and contrary to what people say it's pretty dam good on gas especially now in the states thanks in part to a certain moron gas is expensive. The diesel engine was never offered in the states but I still wouldn't have purchased one. Cheers 🍻 🇬🇧 enjoy the D3.
Thanks! Yep I think diesel car ownership is a different proposition in the States compared to Britain simply because of differences in fuel cost vs economy, the V8 is quite hard to find for sensible money!

Niece disco ! Look at my 270 awning has come in handy a good few times, got it from ventura roof tents they are pretty cheap and decent quality
Also i have a thule areo roof rack you can have cheap

Worth changing the oil pump with a genuine one (maybe a bit cheaper from a Citroen dealer)
Yes had it looked at by a LR specialist, less common to fail on the earlier cars but will get it changed at some point 👍
