@@Jigardo why watch a review? Because I have not had any sort of smart watch/fitness tracker before thinking about purchasing this brand and model. Some reviews even compare certain models to others of similar ranges.
I sadly dont have the cash to just throw a couple hundred dollars at an item that might not even be what I'm looking for. I was wanting a review that shared personal experiences and more in dept exploration of the features. I was already on the website and looking at the information there and comparing models, I went to review videos to seek out any additional information the website did not provide 😒 a review ≠ a video sales pitch and thus the title of this video is very misleading and frustrated me with the waste of time, and now you're coming to me with your condescending attempt to get on some moral high grounds about the fact that this is not a review. So you can go touch some grass.
@@Jigardo what bittersage means is that he is looking for a true insight about the watch that resulted in an everyday usage. Reading the specs is not too much helpful.

What were the devices you showed at the end that you would recommend? I'm new to fitness watches and don't recognize them on sight alone.

Still rocking the first sense it still going strong. Eventually will upgrade to the next model
Fitbit Sense 2 comes with no music app. No third-party apps. Fitbit Sense is way better than the Sense 2.
Gosh darn! I was really hoping that more time and attention would be given to health tracking features. The company claims on its website that Sense 2 measures blood glucose. I wonder how accurate it is? Anyone has any thoughts/experiences? What is the best smart watch for diabetics?
i! i am type 1 diabetic, it doesnt track your blood sugar you can just log it and you can connect it to a decom or libre but you have to use a third party watch face. hope this helps.

Yes, in the specs it says so, and also an option in the menu.
Would be nice to see a review of the app for the phone as that is what i use anyway, i dont care for the stuff on the actual watch. I rather display everything on my phone.
The watches he mentions might be better but won't name seem to be other versions of fitbits: one is a Versa 4, one is a fitbit Inspire, and the last one looks like a fitbit Charge 2 that I had years ago. Don't know what that says about the Sense 2, if older fitbit models might be better???

I made absolutely sure I wanted to spend the money on all of its features. I even waited for it to go on sale. I can't wear it. It's so huge and restrictive it hurts but if I loosen it one notch it slides around my wrist. I HATE it. I HATE this thing.
Perhaps look for a better strap. There are nylon straps with hook/ loop fasteners that are more finely adjustable. There are also probably 3rd party elastic straps available somewhere

Can the watch monitor blood pressure?
No. In fact, I'm not aware of any that do at the moment.
Unfortunately, Fitbit stopped making progress from Versa and Sense point of view after Versa 2, to be polite. Missing functionality, no 3rd party apps and tiles changed to a list, and over-sensitive setup of time or options on the watch, and you can't turn off the screen witha button anymore. Not to mention other issues with, for example, setting up Fitbit/Google Pay. I bought Sense 2. It's a half-product and I wouldn't have it for free! It's so rubbish. If only I could have it with Versa 2 software, that would make it a great watch again. It doesn't feel like Fitbit do care anymore. If it doesn't change, Versa 2 is my last Fitbit product after 9 years of being a loyal user.

no third party apps means no Spotify etc to play music

The charge 5 does 99% of the same features. £100 less so just get that lol

Yeah phone calls works absolutely fine on mind (I've got a Pixel7 phone, not sure with Apple phones).
The workmanship isn't great in these. My Sense is dead after a year. First it wouldn't sync anymore and I had to do a factory reset. Now it just displays the FITBIT logo all the time. I've reset it with the "button" dozens of times. It's dead. I'm switching to Garmin.

This watch is sluggish while going through the ui. The galaxy watch 5 is a better option

It really depends on the tattoo.
Some tattoos are fine. Some tattos it dosent work. If you could try a friend's smartwatch to test it all the HR readers work about the same. If your tattoo dosent affect one watch it shouldn't affect this watch

Previous model is better . Has google assistant . 3rd party apps, snore detection. Can send text with voice comanda sense 2 only has Alexa.

I just upgraded from my old Surge to a versa2... i like that you can add your own music to the device and get notifications

Do noy buy Fitbit. Worst customer service ever. Bought watch with no touch working. After about 4 weeks still no solution.
My Versa 3 stopped working after 11 months , i made one call and they emailed me a link for a full replacement or 50% off another model. Try calling again
