I believe as we age become empty nesters we become depressed and if we have no friends to share life with we become like a cocoon just praying to bloom. But it's not that easy. I've started praying more and doing all of her fabulous 50 exercises. I realized I've got those wing bats,floppy inner thighs and I got to do something about being happy and love myself. Power to you and all of us that at times get into a dark place.
Carolyn thank you for inspiring Shelley to post this video! You helped answer my prayer today. 2 years ago I was injured during a medical procedure and left with a spinal cord injury. Where I was a bodybuilder and a runner before, I am now disabled and walk with a cane at just 50 years old. I have tried several different modified exercises but everything I've done has put me into a very painful flare. (my injury is called Adhesive Arachnoiditis and is a chronic pain condition affecting the nerves of the spinal cord). I determined just this morning in prayer to find an arm workout that would not trigger a flare. I figured I'd spend hours figuring it out. I was surprised and delighted when this video popped up on my screen! I did the work out while sitting in a chair and I'm so pleased that it fit my needs perfectly without engaging my spine ❤️ So thank you Carolyn...we women need each other and talking about our feelings like you did with Schellea is the best way to deal with our pain. Your bravery in doing so helped this stranger very much! And thank you Schellea, you are truly an inspiration 😘

Hi Caroline, I'm from Canada and was a member of a fitness centre. Due to the COVID-19 scare any public place that draws a high number of people is now closed. So to support that decision I've been social distancing myself. I've been working out at home, walking outside and absolutely love it. Chin up you are not alone! Hi Carolyn, Everything is going to be ok. I just had, during the pandemic, a double mastectomy. No family permitted to go with me and no reconstruction because it was deemed non essential. It has been most difficult but I get up everyday even tho I don't feel like it, I take care of myself and yes however you are feeling is ok. Everyday I tell myself, "It's going to be ok" It's going to be ok for you too.
I gave up my gym membership due the extremely high cost. Before joining a new gym as I didn’t want to lose the muscles it took me a year to get I saw your workouts on UA-cam and absolutely love them. I feel great and can do them anytime of day that works for me.

Hi Caroline, I'm 69 years old, bi-polar & I've been exercising with Schiela since December, 2021. Exercising always makes me feel better because of the feel good hormones, endorphins, that are released from your brain. So it's a win- win situation for our brains, bodies and us!! I do these every morning before my cuppa tea…but I turn on different music…I love the peppy song, “I will survive” and “I am woman”, for example. I’m 67 and my arms haven’t looked this toned in 20 years! If I ever get to travel again I think I’ll lift my carry on into the overhead compartment with ease. Thank you! I didn’t believe they’d do much when I started, but after about 5 months they work!

Did it without weights because of bad shoulders and arms, I have trouble hanging out the laundry so I knew there was no way I would get through this. I tightened my muscles as I was following you and got through it. Thank you once again.

Hi Caroline fr sunny California, sending u my love, faith and prayers, u r not alone, i have been through a lot. I been homeless, slept in my car for 4½ years with my daughter, i was very sick (heart), over weight, severe swelling of feet & legs, couldn't walk without a cane or walker i suffered fr major depression until it took a toll on my mind and it erase my short term memory for 2 days spent in hospital. I over came all of this and i am still fighting, so keep the faith and we're here for u. Much love ❤ and respect. Don' give up. 🙃
I haven't done this particular video in several months. I have been including arm / dumbbells videos daily though. I've always enjoyed this one because of the view, besides the exercise benefits. But this time my arms are burning-SO THANK YOU.
Your amazing, beautiful spirit has helped me in more ways than you'll ever know. I have 3 teenagers and they've never been the healthiest in the bunch. This year has been rough , and not only because of covid. My two eldest were hospitalized with serious diagnosis. I was beyond anxious, all of the time!! I was stress-eating, and drinking more wine than I like to admit. I seriously couldn't have gone through this scary, stressful time without you. They have since recovered, and so have I! I feel fabulous after all of your workouts, and have been getting healthier and stronger, physically and mentally. I tell everyone willing to listen about you, and your amazing workouts! Jo Caroline. I'm welsh. I have had so many bad things go wrong. Now been diagnosed with cancer. However just done a 2 mile walk and that has lifted my spirit. Also just done our new wonderful arm workout. I also find these fabulous 50 workouts really do help. This morning I felt so so low but much better now. When the chips are down and you feel like slumping in a chair. Just do one thing then that's leads to another and before you know it you're working out. God bless and good luck .

Laura Barr, I do it 3 X with 5 minute rest in between sets, 2-3 times a week. Massive improvement in my arms over time. Even the backs of my arms, that I thought were hopeless!💪🏻💪🏻

I didn’t have CHRIST in my life ! When I met HIM through the Bible, my life changed. It was 30 years ago. GOD found me a perfect spouse and two perfect children. Now I am happily middle-aged and living in the comfort and love of GOD and saved from several major illnesses like a stroke stopped midway - on crying out to HIM in my mind, HE Stopped the headache, stiffness in my neck, and inability to speak all in a space of minutes. I normalised and the only evidence that anything untoward happened in 2018, was the aneurysm found in my brain in my cat scans ! Praise The LORD🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽Read the Bible Carolyn starting with the New Testament and ask GOD to speak to you through the verses and HE Will! Love and blessings in CHRIST to you

Hello Carolyn from Boston area! I'm so glad to have discovered Schellea. You're not alone and today's workout finally, finally, got me out of the chair and brought out my weights. Starting with 3 lb, even 2 lb for front raises and I feel great. It's after 1 pm here and just getting into the shower but today it's OK. There are a lot of exercise videos, I even had a personal trainer video me with a great workout routine but it's more fun to watch and be inspired by Schellea. I'm fortunate to have worked mostly from home, although now it's a bit too much! Nevertheless, my therapist recommended to create a schedule in 1/2 hour increments and then check off to experience routine and a sense of accomplishment. I plan to get dressed, bling, makeup as if I were going out. I turned 70 in October, although I barely feel 50 and need to get my body back in shape so thanks again Schellea and everyone for your support around the globe. Sending virtual positive vibes, for physical, emotional health and hugs.
Hey Carolyn...depression affects all of us but at least 15 min of exercise each day will keep that feeling at bay. It’s snowing in April in Buffalo, NY and I’m not sad about it!

This is my favorite workout. At the end of the other workouts from you I always finish off with this and a stretch. I feel fantastic and have been a fan of Fabulous 50s for the past 2 years. Always take you on vacation so I can workout in the room. Thumbs up for the Fantastic videos.

Hi Caroline, I'm 69 years old, bi-polar & I've been exercising with Schiela since December, 2021. Exercising always makes me feel better because of the feel good hormones, endorphins, that are released from your brain. So it's a win- win situation for our brains, bodies and us!! Hola Carolyn from Mexico. I have struggled with depression and anxiety all my life and I have to tell myself EVERY morning to get up and exercise first thing before I slip into that slump. Especially now during "stay at home". I've been in since early March and it looks like we are in for a long haul. Take time for yourself, keep exercising, eating well...you are so worth it!

I do these every morning before my cuppa tea…but I turn on different music…I love the peppy song, “I will survive” and “I am woman”, for example. I’m 67 and my arms haven’t looked this toned in 20 years! If I ever get to travel again I think I’ll lift my carry on into the overhead compartment with ease. Thank you! I didn’t believe they’d do much when I started, but after about 5 months they work!

Did it without weights because of bad shoulders and arms, I have trouble hanging out the laundry so I knew there was no way I would get through this. I tightened my muscles as I was following you and got through it. Thank you once again.
Until Covid-19, I had never exercised at home. Once this is all said and done, I think that I will continue to exercise with your UTube videos - they are GREAT. Thanks for the variety.

Hi Caroline fr sunny California, sending u my love, faith and prayers, u r not alone, i have been through a lot. I been homeless, slept in my car for 4½ years with my daughter, i was very sick (heart), over weight, severe swelling of feet & legs, couldn't walk without a cane or walker i suffered fr major depression until it took a toll on my mind and it erase my short term memory for 2 days spent in hospital. I over came all of this and i am still fighting, so keep the faith and we're here for u. Much love ❤ and respect. Don' give up. 🙃

I haven't done this particular video in several months. I have been including arm / dumbbells videos daily though. I've always enjoyed this one because of the view, besides the exercise benefits. But this time my arms are burning-SO THANK YOU.

Your amazing, beautiful spirit has helped me in more ways than you'll ever know. I have 3 teenagers and they've never been the healthiest in the bunch. This year has been rough , and not only because of covid. My two eldest were hospitalized with serious diagnosis. I was beyond anxious, all of the time!! I was stress-eating, and drinking more wine than I like to admit. I seriously couldn't have gone through this scary, stressful time without you. They have since recovered, and so have I! I feel fabulous after all of your workouts, and have been getting healthier and stronger, physically and mentally. I tell everyone willing to listen about you, and your amazing workouts!

Jo Caroline. I'm welsh. I have had so many bad things go wrong. Now been diagnosed with cancer. However just done a 2 mile walk and that has lifted my spirit. Also just done our new wonderful arm workout. I also find these fabulous 50 workouts really do help. This morning I felt so so low but much better now. When the chips are down and you feel like slumping in a chair. Just do one thing then that's leads to another and before you know it you're working out. God bless and good luck .

Laura Barr, I do it 3 X with 5 minute rest in between sets, 2-3 times a week. Massive improvement in my arms over time. Even the backs of my arms, that I thought were hopeless!💪🏻💪🏻
After three years, this one is still my favourite and I keep coming back to it! The view, the tranquility, your voice, the final jump, simply give me the best start of a day! 💕

I went through depression till I discovered that although I was loved dearly by my family and friends, I felt depressed . I didn’t have CHRIST in my life !
When I met HIM through the Bible, my life changed. It was 30 years ago.
GOD found me a perfect spouse and two perfect children.
Now I am happily middle-aged and living in the comfort and love of GOD and saved from several major illnesses like a stroke stopped midway - on crying out to HIM in my mind, HE Stopped the headache, stiffness in my neck, and inability to speak all in a space of minutes. I normalised and the only evidence that anything untoward happened in 2018, was the aneurysm found in my brain in my cat scans ! Praise The LORD🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽Read the Bible Carolyn starting with the New Testament and ask GOD to speak to you through the verses and HE Will!

Hello Carolyn from Boston area! I'm so glad to have discovered Schellea. You're not alone and today's workout finally, finally, got me out of the chair and brought out my weights. Starting with 3 lb, even 2 lb for front raises and I feel great. It's after 1 pm here and just getting into the shower but today it's OK. There are a lot of exercise videos, I even had a personal trainer video me with a great workout routine but it's more fun to watch and be inspired by Schellea. I'm fortunate to have worked mostly from home, although now it's a bit too much! Nevertheless, my therapist recommended to create a schedule in 1/2 hour increments and then check off to experience routine and a sense of accomplishment. I plan to get dressed, bling, makeup as if I were going out. I turned 70 in October, although I barely feel 50 and need to get my body back in shape so thanks again Schellea and everyone for your support around the globe. Sending virtual positive vibes, for physical, emotional health and hugs.

Hey Carolyn...depression affects all of us but at least 15 min of exercise each day will keep that feeling at bay. It’s snowing in April in Buffalo, NY and I’m not sad about it!

I'll be 50 in November and I had lost hope to finding a workout to fit me bc I have chronic back and knee issues. Thank you so much for this I am so AMPED about them all.
