Thank you so much for this! I know this is supposed to be for 50+, but I'm 23 and have chronic illnesses, FND and PPPD. They severely affect my mobility, balance and lots of other things. I've gained a lot of weight where it has stopped me from working out and has also made my muscles and joints really weak. I just tried this and it was perfect! Hello Schellea, my husband and I began exercising last week and my doctor suggested that I begin stretching every morning to start my day. You have really helped me to bring healthy back to my life. I'm wheelchair bound, I have back neck and spine problems, spinal stenosis is the main one. I am being careful, because I need to rebuild my muscles. I almost lots every muscle. I was just flesh and fat. I could tell my body was changing over a period of 6 years in a wheelchair. I'm not free of pain, nor has my full mobility returned, just from doing exercises. But one thing I can tell as from a personal experience of bed rest daily. I feel more supported with my muscle that has returned, and even more. I had a small routine that I started about a month ago. I found you last week. With both of these low impact exercise routines, I feel stronger, deep from my core. I had three babies, all grown men now. I am a wife we just celebrated our 30th anniversary on the 8th of this month. I'm a grandma to 4 young grandchildren. I also turned 50 in November. I lost my beautiful momma a year ago. Due to liver failure. I decided to get my body back. I got up to 138 pounds last year. I am now a steady 128/129. But I am 6 pound overweight still. I really don't know if I need to loose it, and just build muscles, because I don't want to loose too much weight. My ideal weight is 123, I am 4'11. Any advice you have for me. To know if I am on the right track would be awesome. Thank you for your videos, you are helping me embrace my 50'S.

This was the first one in your series that I worked with and LOVE doing this exercise because (1) it's working on my 64 year old body, and (2) I love the Italian music! I've had aches in my left hip but after a few weeks of every other day using this video, I'm pretty much pain free and stronger! Your videos are truly an inspiration and fun. (Well of course for my life,too!)and this 5 minute miracle reminded my body i neither am, nor ibtend to be, 'frail' any time soon. This is so important, moves parts I don't usually move enough~ Starting around 3:40 spot, 'abductor rotations'--it's like my hips thank me for waking them up~I refuse to fixate on the fact that I cannot stay on my toes for at least half of those. Thank you! My advise: use weighted wrist bands to increase muscle strain. In the 50s we often loose suddenly and to fast muscle tissue, the belly grows and grows and legs become thinner and thinner. Only strength training with weights strengthen legs really, and give them beautiful shape.
I'm 76 years old, so I guess that means that I'm fabulous 50's plus 50%! I'd like you to know that despite my age I really enjoy and benefit from your exercise sessions. I do have some problems with my balance and coordination but I trust that given time I will improve. Thanks so much.
Schellea! just when I think you've plumbed the depths of your creativity, you come up with another pearler! I love your short work out vids! Love the change of scenery on this one too. I would add for all the ladies over 50 interested in keeping in shape - make sure you eat enough protein so those muscles have the necessary building blocks! Its a good idea to track your daily intake with an app....Maybe an idea for another vid??

I like your work outs..they are the perfect intensity for me. I can feel my thighs have a bit of tingle on and off throughout the day after this one, my first time on this video. I preface all my workouts with 10-12 minutes of yoga first to get my muscles ready!!

I was surprised how much this routine challenged me compared with the others in the 14 day challenge. The are exercises here that I haven't done before. Anything on tip toes seems a challenge. Definitely an area to work on!

I was surprised how much this routine challenged me compared with the others in the 14 day challenge. The are exercises here that I haven't done before. Anything on tip toes seems a challenge. Definitely an area to work on!
I keep coming back to this fun video! After 2 hip replacements and 2 knee surgeries, it feels great to strengthen my legs again.
