What you earn has absolutely nothing too do with anyone else other than HMRC, yourself and family and possibly if you have one an accountant. The people especially from the UK don't talk about how much we earn, yes you'll have a few anywhere in the world who'll boast about what they have. Hi Gareth, it's absolutely appalling that there are people out there who will take pot shots at anyone and anything just to make themselves feel better. At the end of the day I beleive it is jealousy pure and simple, small minded people with nothing better to do with their time. I personally watch your channel because it is just that - your channel and I suspect a lot of others do too. You come across as one of life's nice guys with a genuine personality that people warm to, and for some bizarre reason that puts some people out, annoying them to the point of making hurtful and spiteful comments. At the risk of stating the obvious, it's they who have the problem. Don't ever stop being you because it's why myself, and I suspect the vast majority of those who subscribe to your channel, look forward to your content.

As a fellow UA-camr, I can tell you that most people are bitter because they are jealous of what you have achieved. They think that they could do it, but, really, they can't because they don't have the talent or the guts to show their face.
I agree. I have a small channel and I'd love to make a bit of cash from it but it's not going to happen as I don't want to show my face so I'll never get the subs and just do it for fun. Brilliant of you can earn money from it just like any job. I don't understand why people have an issue and it's not like it's Mr Beast with his millions. Fair play to anyone that can make a living or just a bit of extra cash from something they enjoy doing.
I use to make food vids. Very hit and miss if got views. If you find a niche. Happy days. It's not easy to try and do vids daily. Let alone the sad backlash, people get. That can annoy. Upset.. in the end. If its working. Selfishness is key. Stoicism does exist!!. Long live baldy 😁

Your doing what we all could do if we wanted but not all want to. It's "your time and effort" making the vids (which are very helpful) . I've been watching UA-cam close to 15 years maybe more, and retired self employed window cleaner of nearly 30 years. Never been in the armed forces or the emergency or the medical field god bless you all. I am an absolute mess due to my personal life with depression and anxiety, My job and UA-cam saved my life back then, and UA-cam still does. I have seen it all on here and know about those stupid videos talking crap. You are a legend Gareth and your videos help me. The genuine public are there for each other and will always will be. Yours is one of a few who I always tune in to, and I find you to be the most honest and probably the best food review channel there is, and I look forward to every new video. I also like Stockybloke too, he's another genuine bloke who I can relate to. This is an interesting video, and I can understand why you did it, although it makes no difference to me how much money you make. I unexpectedly lost my wife last week and it's videos like yours that have been helping me cope with the trauma of it all, by taking my mind off it all. The fact that you have felt you've needed to make this video saddens me. If you can make a living out of UA-cam then why not. I have learnt that you do what you can to survive and support yourself and your family in this world. How much you earn is your business and no one else's. I love the products you review cause it's all shops that I go to and your takes are amazing mate. Your channel was one of the first food channels I actually started following when I got out of my post cheffing depression and has actually helped me out in many ways.

Hi Gareth, it's absolutely appalling that there are people out there who will take pot shots at anyone and anything just to make themselves feel better. At the end of the day I beleive it is jealousy pure and simple, small minded people with nothing better to do with their time. I personally watch your channel because it is just that - your channel and I suspect a lot of others do too. You come across as one of life's nice guys with a genuine personality that people warm to, and for some bizarre reason that puts some people out, annoying them to the point of making hurtful and spiteful comments. At the risk of stating the obvious, it's they who have the problem. Don't ever stop being you because it's why myself, and I suspect the vast majority of those who subscribe to your channel, look forward to your content.

I agree. I have a small channel and I'd love to make a bit of cash from it but it's not going to happen as I don't want to show my face so I'll never get the subs and just do it for fun. Brilliant of you can earn money from it just like any job. I don't understand why people have an issue and it's not like it's Mr Beast with his millions. Fair play to anyone that can make a living or just a bit of extra cash from something they enjoy doing.

I've been watching UA-cam close to 15 years maybe more, and retired self employed window cleaner of nearly 30 years. Never been in the armed forces or the emergency or the medical field god bless you all. I am an absolute mess due to my personal life with depression and anxiety, My job and UA-cam saved my life back then, and UA-cam still does. I have seen it all on here and know about those stupid videos talking crap. You are a legend Gareth and your videos help me. The genuine public are there for each other and will always will be. Gareth, I subscribe to a lot of different channels and you are up there with the most genuine and humble youtubers out there,I personally enjoy the content you put out, its original and a good watch and I don’t give a hoot how much you earn, good luck to you and don’t change a thing mate 👌🏻
