Good tip on getting good blood flow before stretching. I have a recommendation for anyone that may read my comment. To further help with ensuring you have good blood flow for stretching, consider doing dynamic stretches for your active portion of the day and then stretches with a higher emphasis on static movements later in the day when your body is still warm but preparing to cool down.
The most important must to know advices. Like he said, you have to treat premium the bike but yourself as well to get the more out the machine and yourself. Excelent video.
I'm referring to the onboard riding footage only, it doesn't quite match up with joshua trees behind Chase talking in the pits. At 0:38 you can see the entire track, I can ride it in my sleep. Cheers guys!
Very good information. I would say static stretching is better and 8 to 10 seconds, but 1 min could really stretch out a muscle and make it lose alot of snap, could even lead to injury. Maybe even a groin pull 😂🤣😂🤣
A big one I do before I shhrreeedddd is tanning/ drinking a can of engine cleaner or flush make u feel rejuvenated and make u super pumped to ride only problem is u shit red after it I dunno why?
Stretching is key for any type of activity but static stretching is an absolute No-No. Which you were demonstrating in the video I have to say that's really not a proper warm-up. Any good trainer or physiologist will tell you dynamic warm up is the only way to warm up pre activity. Post activity, absolutely some light and easy static stretching is the way to go. 👍
I agree that static stretching without warming up isn't good. But to say that any good trainer will tell you not to stretch before riding, even with a good warm up, and that dynamic is the only way to go, just ins't the case. I've seen in person many top athletes perform stretches after warming up. - Chase

Track is rad! This was filmed at Comp edge in Cali, though.

I'm a drummer and I can confirm, eating right before playing is suicide mission. Putting 2h gap will fix it.
Also getting plenty of rest the night before is good too 👍🏻
So true! That's huge for rest and recovery. Riding half asleep doesn't help either haha. Thanks for watching!~Chase
I can never sleep before a race lol
Pretty much a perfect vid. 👍

Chase - Race Gas or Pump Gas for motocross bikes?
I'm always ran pump gas. Race gas is too pricey! But it does smell amazing.
