The biggest mistake with bleach people make, some hairdressers included, is not leaving it on long enough to get through the Orange/gold stage. Violet toners eliminate yellow only. So it must get to the pale yellow stage.
SageDawn for being a non professional you do a good job. Your sectioning & application are great! Your mom’s haircuts are great, especially for the fact she has no training! You both do a great job.
Great video! I would suggest Schwarzkopf Blondeme powder bleach, it lifts 9 levels and use with 30 developer. Use with a processing cap ( you can get a Sally’s), spritz the cap with water and put on your hair while the bleach processes and keeps the bleach moist. You can get the bleach from Amazon.
You didn't leave the bleach on long enough, the toner then was level 10 when you had level 8/9 yellow hair, why did you keep the sides black? Purple shampoo will not help it wants rebleaching.
It's funny how we get the white hair we want, when when get older like I'm 69 this year and my hair to my surprise is white I've grown it out during lock Down cut it short vala.. You girls do make me smile with white and grey hair trend it will come soon enough then.. you will be covering it up 😊😅😅🤗
Is there a chance to see what and how you do that? I have been bleeching my hair for 2 decades (I mean, the hairdresser has), but in my new area, where I moved to, I have been struggling to find one, who understands what I like and want. I am giving up on hair salons as of now and want to learn to do it myself without overlapping or damagaging my hair.

I cannot help but massively overlap my hair is short like yours. I wonder if I will wind up having real issues, I do condition well and not over use the dryer, etc but I am not sure how to touch up at home without overlapping - I do use the ION step one bonding treatement in my developer and use the AGE Beautiful bond lightener.
Another great video!! Have you ever done bleach highlights yourself? I have and the only issue I had was moving fast enough to get all the foils in before the rest of my hair was done. 😂

Hi, I Saw your vid it's amazing.. but if you really want to get rid of the yellow tons you can use a blue 💙 pigment shampoo and you will become white 🤍

I can't in good conscience say that it turned out, and I KNOW you wanted better results. No one wants to admit that they messed up, and in this case you should be honest and say that this is not at ALL what you expected. How will we learn proper techniques if you aren't honest with us about whether it did what you wanted it to do?

I worked in a hairdressers years ago and they got dyes from a supplier you could not get the high volume bleach in shops. I was thinking maybe longer than 40 minutes as your hair is very dark. The toner is lovely colour.
When I was blonde, I tried doing my roots at home and it turned organey!! I had to spend a lot of money and time to have it professionally fixed. I went natural about a year ago and it turns out my hair is almost white so it looks on the platinum side for free now!! Love your videos and tips for pixies!!
Ohhh... please don't forget to wear gloves... it burns your skin so badly. Ahh, good job 😃 But the result is great, I having this colour too and love it for the reason that I'm a warm type. But so much orange it comes never out... I do my colour since many years and it comes out not always the same... but it doesn't matter I think... So my husband has a new wife sometimes... he doesn't complain 🤣 Sage, please kiss your sweet doggy girl for me 💋💋💋

I have been bleaching mine for 4 years now and I love doing it and saved money😊 I use a 3way mirror and that helps with doing the back 🥰

Purple shampoo won’t fix the roots. It needs to be bleached again. I’m about to do my roots too
