    And a thermal is no good when it’s hot out. Trees hold to much heat in the summer. Best to use when it cools off.

    Great video man. Enjoyed the Q&A! Where I'm at I always find ginseng up the hollerbeds on the shady side of the mountain. I always look for dead logs and things like that because that's where I find the most. Certain types of weeds always grow around where it is also

      Only thing you can do is encourage him if he finds one and continue giving him time to mature and develop

    Like your video’s. Tracking training collars. What System / brand would your recommend?

    • @stark_outdoors
      @stark_outdoors  3 роки тому

      Dogtra way cheaper and the screen is bigger and better quality since it’s on your phone. The collars are also very high quality too

      @@andyplatfoot6126 no problem. I’ve used both for years. In order to get the satellite view on your garmin you have to buy map cards for specific areas and use a computer to upload them. Another added expense. With Dogtra it’s automatically on the app, no computer or extra purchase needed

    Tis the season. I have a 8 month old Feist that leaves the tree when she looses sight of the squirrel. She will follow them in the tree when they are running and goes nuts looking for them after she looses sight. She has never had one shot out for her. I think she will stay on the tree when the leaves come off and she can see them. How do I train her to stick with the tree or should I even expect it at this age. She loves to hunt and goes nuts when she smells them. We get a lot of time in the woods. I take her out at least once a day for a short hunt.

      Once you start killing stuff to her that should fix it. Get her caught and put her back on the tree and tie her up and praise her

    That first tree when you headed to him if he had left on way to him would you correct him tell back on that tree are no just don't go to him

      If a dog would leave I’d make sure he stayed and didn’t do it anymore

    Is it a lot of nuts up your way this year

    • @stark_outdoors
      @stark_outdoors  3 роки тому

      Yes, this year has been a great growing season for everything. Had my best mushroom season to date, all fruit/nut bearing trees are doing great, and I still have to mow my yard frequently. Usually this time of year it’s dead and dry

    • @budbrown9504
      @budbrown9504 3 роки тому +1

      We had a good mushroom year to. Nuts not so good here. They are spotted around here. Been squirrel hunting every morning and they still on the ground pretty good.

      That’s too bad. Our trees are
      loaded. Good luck this year
