Chad when I was a kid a friend of the family took me squirrel hunting with a dog a few times. I loved it. If I were to get a dog now having no experience and wanting a house pet/ hunting buddy would I be better off with a kur or fiest ? I enjoy watching your videos. Im in east TN.
It has to do with the person feeding it. If you like meat hunting you want a hard driven game drive. If you what to casually stroll through the woods and see your dog tree a few. I'd go for a hotter nose close hunting dog cur or a feist type dog. But now day most squirrel dogs that come from a good breeding program will be above average if the owner does his part.
Enjoy all the videos! Keep em coming!
Mr Chad i really enjoy your videos i been following for a while now and have learned alot from them..i got original mountain cur dogs and love it!!

I probably go with a feist for pleasure hunting and house pet.
I really like the Mullins feist. I believe there are Mullins familie is in Tennessee area.
Agree with you. Lots of things are genetic but you can still work on things to make a dog better. It’s not just a set it and forget it.
@@squirreldogtraining4914 what do you think of barger Feist there not to far from me?
Barger are really nice also. It is hard to go wrong with a feist for a good pleasure dog. They lots of fun and compact
