THE UNTHINKABLE -- Wagyu in the Air Fryer!

- I've been asked on multiple occasions if cooking Wagyu in the air fryer is a valid method. My gut reaction would be to say-- NO!!! But today I am going to find out if it really is a method worth choosing. I'm not going to lie, I was very worried about ruining this expensive steak... but boy was I surprised at the results!

I’m not surprised that it is good. I haven’t tried wagyu in the air fryer, but the best ribeyes I’ve ever made come from the air fryer. Just a hint, you will get a better crust if you 1) cook it from frozen straight from the freezer, and 2) preheat and cook at 450, flipping halfway through.
Last 3 minutes out it on broil hunny that'll give it a light crust

did mine for 11 minutes at 400 degrees and flipped once. Way too over done.
Did you have the basket air fryer or a Deluxe Air Fryer from PC? Maybe the heating element was too close? Hope you had a great Christmas and I'm wishing you a happy new year!!
