Nice, might replace mine at some point. The mechanism itself can be a bit sticky, any tips to improve it? What year if yours? I'm in the process of replacing a snapped "head bolt" (timing cover bolt) near the OFH, apparently common on the early n52s. Edit: guess yours is early like mine based on tail lights
Yes mines a pre-face lift 2006. If the mechanism is sticky you need to get in behind it by removing the inner tailgate trim and lube the mechanism from the back (WD40)
@@MTechGuy should the boot lid pop up and open fully when you press the key fob unlock or does it just unlock and you lift manually?
@@jonathanhowe2652 No it just unlatches, you still have to lift it by hand
