ive had a bmw m sport e81 for 5 years, ive always had to slam the bonnet shut to shut it proper, adjusted the bonnet clip to be longer and it closed without any slamming was nice and smooth, made up with this video thank you for sharing mate 👍👍👍

Sadly a lot of time the bumper / bonnet gap is caused by the bumper either sagging or not refitted correctly after work, I know on my e92 the bumpers sag over time and was fixed on the facelift model

To make the bonnet gap smaller do you make the rubber knobs higher or lower? And the metal hook taller or shorter ?

What's the best tool to use to loosen the rubber knobs as they wont turn by hand and I don't want to chew them up? @@GeorgeAusters
I've had a few E60s and they usually pretty good. BUT have had 2 E70s and 1 E71 and WOW they are TOTALLY OFF. Anyone else had this with e70/e71?

My bonnet is currently not pulling it tight on one side any ideas ?? Ive adjust the hooks the rubber bumpers are screwed right down

Do you have an email or Instagram i could contact on you mate? I have a really nasty bonnet bap, it was ok before and now i’ve made it before. I’ll honestly pay for your time or if your local to me and i can drive to you. I’m based in West London.
Also if the hood latches are looser/longer does that minimise the gap and bring it closer or will it minimise the gap by making the hood latch tighter/shorter.
