Honestly I felt a bit bad for sayu when she got terminated from nijisanji but I didn't think anything of it, when I heard her side I felt really bad because I knew nijisanji was not all that great of a company, I love the talents in nijisanji but the company is just getting really bad

If sayu actually had 2% of support and wasn't being sabotaged by the company nijisanji could have actually had a great pr person same reason them sabotaging selen tournaments both had connections to sponsors both had long term support if sayu had capable management that could just pass messages and wasnt removing her streams so they didn't have to pay her could have actually had opportunities and quality pr but instead management felt inferior and removed 2 pr people due to feeling inferior

I get Sauy made mistakes in the past, but that is still no reason for people to harass, dox her or doing anything hurtful. It solves nothing, it does nothing to improove or help. What i legitimatedly hope is that she is doing ok and can continue with her career and goals.

It is really a shame that Sayu keeps getting bombarded like this. Despite effectively going through a very similar situation to Doki and talking about it, no one believed her and further try to smear her name into the mud. While when Doki come out and basically goes over similar issues, she gets endless praise (still deserved, dont get me wrong, shes great).
Its just a case of double standards and seniority (right term?). Doki was in niji en for longer (wave 2) and was a well loved liver during the EN branch's golden age. Sayu on the other came out when i guess you could say the EN branch was definitely feeling bloated (7th wave) and mood was soured when Yugo "graduated" 4 days after her debut, she was then terminated before she had a chance to fully shine and cultivate a solid base within nijisanji en.
So general niji en fans at best thought she was a liver who screwed up and left little impact on Niji en (haters on the other hand just smeared her name and vehemently refuted her claims against Niji, even though it did start to highlight the darker workings for later within the EN branch). A part of this could also be that she was more forthcoming with info regarding livers she pointed out while Doki chose to remain silent and let bygones be bygones. This would have really pointed a target on her, which its a shame since its still a point of discussion worth having (the so called clichs in niji en).
Ultimately, I hope that Sayu and Doki will be able to keep moving past this and shine brighter than when in Niji.
Something else i wanted to mention, the main point people use to shut down any points brought up by Sayu is that she made a "dark" joke and one of her genmates made a public statement in which he said the joke was very inappropriate considering his past exp with such a topic of the joke. Sure, a joke in poor or dark taste may not be great for the average person (especially those with negative experiences), but that doesn't detract from the claims she makes. Just calling that out on her and rejecting her claims is just a flawed stance in the first place, they are attacking her and not her argument (ad hominem, a logical fallacy).
LET US NOT FORGET THE WISE LOGIC OF SOUTH PARK : "Either everything is okay to make fun of, or nothing is."
(Again, some joke may be in poor taste and not everyone thinks its funny, but the argument still stands)

It really just played into Dokis favor and Sayu just got the short end of the stick by being the one to speak out first when things weren’t as known

As someone from a moba community mostly league there are a lot of times where you are right about something but people just ignore you and write you off as either a troll or just someone lucky that enemies are feeding to make that thing you are talking about work for you. In most eSports people don't actually what what is or is not meta they just follow what the pros do despite pro players playing what they find the most comfortable not the most meta. And meta means Most Effective Tactic Available and yet we see a lot of stagnant meta's as people are not doing what is actually meta but instead what they are used to and the pros are doing

Example would be Pantheon support you get more value out of the champion by playing it like a actual support using support items and not the recommended page that Riot shoves down your throat.

Like epople need to fucking quit taking Sundered Sky Spear of Shojin is way better on Pantheon as Sundered Sky's passive fucking sucks on him as he is not aa reliant
Like even if you were to go a Bruiser build you would literally heal more if you just took conq and not Sundered Sky but do take Spear of Shojin as you gain a lot of Haste such as 20 AH from the item then 15 AH for your non ult spell PLUS you get a 12% damage increase since spear stacks off of tapping Q on minions as well. So you go in there you burst them and you heal WAY more than Sundered Sky would ever heal you for as Pantheon is spell reliant
And if you really wanna melt people you would go PTA, Eclipse, BC, and Botrk as not even tanks are going to be able to withstand that and Botrk's Mist's Edge is great for the emp W and with Shojin you can just keep doing emp W after a few Q spams as you will have about 85 haste for your abilities so around a 1 second Q tap probably less as it is about 4 seconds rank 1 since 60% of the cd is refunded by tapping and it is at 11 seconds of a cooldown at the start with no haste
But for some fucking reason people believe that Sundered Sky is the best item to go and is apart of his core build. His winrate would go up a lot if he drops that fucking item like 5%

You can't tell empty people that can generate only hate that they need to stop - they would not understand you. They will do it simply because there is a reaction. So, Doki just ended stream because she saw what Elira and Vox were saying and said that the things being discussed are CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION that only her, her lawyer, and the other lawyers involved, were ever supposed to see. Because of this, she contacted her lawyer and says she'll release a statement 'very soon' that they had prepared in case Niji tried anything like this.
This timing is deliberate and majorly screwed up. All she wants to do is move on, but Niji deliberately chose to time her first gaming stream to coincide with having Elira and Vox trash her like Xsoleil did with Zaion. I doubt either Elira or Vox wanted to say any of what they did and were directly ordered to by management, Elira sounded quite upset and not herself. But there you go, the drama just got even bigger.

Not defending but some people are allowed to be genuinely upset with her jokes, especially the SA one. There are dark and edgy jokes and sometimes they can cross a line that makes survivors dislike them. Sayu does deserve better and doesn’t deserve the bulling and harassment but don’t treat people who are upset with her dark humor as like snowflakes or people who should “learn to take a joke”. Even if she did apologize and trying to be better, some people will struggle to side with her because of how much harm her joke did to her image.

Well, regarding Sayu moving on. The issue lies in how you get emotionally scarred. Dokibird had an immediate parachute and soft landing because the internet sided with her and a major fanbase was there to cushion her fall.
Sayu on the other hand received harassment. Her own statement of her own story, rather than garnering sympathy like Dokibird's statement of self harm, garnered people saying she's just trying to garner sympathy to leech off the popularity of Nijisanji.
Everything going right for Selen, went wrong for Zaion, after their termination. That's traumatizing to a person, and humans usually take years to recover from trauma. She is trying to move on, but it does mean she will need to be able to vent her frustrations as they come up. Give her five years, by then the damage will be from so far past that she will be able to discuss it without much pain. But keep in mind her event happened last year. That is still fresh. That's like saying your mom died last year, get over it.
Sayu is a gem. I've supported her since the Zaion termination and her response, it's how I found out she existed. I believed her then and I'm glad I did. If you don't like her or her content, that's fine, but in that case just don't watch and leave her be. The Niji bootlickers still going after her need to get a life.

This honestly bothers me a lot, as someone who's come to respect Sayu and enjoy her content.
As someone who didn't follow Zaion, I did not know what to think of her when all the drama was originally going on. I refrained from looking at her content, since all I heard was how bad of a person she was, and even the most charitable people just said she wasn't a good fit for a corpo. When the termination notice came out, I really didn't think much of it.
Then, when Sayu released her doc telling Zaion's story, I realized that there was a lot more to the situation. I read through the doc keeping in mind that the writer might not be the most reliable, but it seemed credible enough, and it reframed what that termination notice meant to me. I then decided to check out Sayu's return stream vod (I'd missed it live), and what stood out to me is how... genuine she sounded? She didn't sound like the terrible person I'd been led to believe she was. She is funny, and loves to make everyone feel welcome, new or old. Joining her discord server gave me first-hand experience as to how wholesome her community was, and continues to be.
I guess what I mean to say is--if all you've heard is the drama and what people say about her, it's easy to assume the worst from everything she does. Everyone who still thinks she's a "clout chaser" or someone trying to save their "dying career" should take a look at her streams sometime. The content might not be for you, but you can definitely appreciate how much she loves what she does, and how great her community is to be a part of.
As for Selen's termination, if there were any doubts in my mind about the veracity of Sayu's doc, there are none left. Everything she detailed happened to Selen as it did to Zaion. While they might not be on the same level popularity wise, they were both mistreated by the same company, and both unfortunately have scars to show for it.
What changed my opinion of Sayu and Zaion was funny enough 4ch. Literally made a whole list, point for point of the termination letter niji put out for Zaion and links for clips of other Niji Livers like Finnana or we her is, doing EXACTLY THE SAME THING ZAION WAS ACCUSED OF lol.
When did this happen? I'm not really surprised and am on Sayu's side anyway, but do you have a clip link for when Finana did those same things, because given the way Finana acted to Sayu before she left, that would be the most ironic twist.
That's why I don't support him 🤷🏻♂️ I saw him a lot of videos trolling on Zaion and more a few other vtubers in 2 months ago then I did explain you do trolling making fun on vtubers so don't believe him give him dislike and never subscribe

It was not exclusively about Finana, but yeah many NijiEN members committed the same "sins". Finana was the easiest target since she filtered her own audition video on an unofficial discord server for her fans, something that is by NijiEN rules forbidden. Khyo using his own personal account to attack zaion...and so on. That shit was long xD

I still dont like sayu but i do agree that the niji fans need to step back a bit and let go of sayu controversy. Sayu apologize and that is that. I sided with her from day 1. She has been doing a lot better from things she had done wrong, and that's hard enough. She's been improving and been going through some much needed therapy; but why do people think she's not trying her best? She is a victim too, she got hurt by Nijisanji too, and people need to get a damn grip

The best thing that she could do for it(well maybe not the best) would be to learn to accept the haters, embrace the haters, and then tell them all to eff off in the loudest she can possibly yell it.
The thing is that if people did do bad things they can apologize. If someone then antagonizes them for speaking their feelings, yes they are being victimized by you, the ones that call her mean things. Thats a fact, and they are allowed to feel bad about being called mean things. You cant claim to be better when you treat people like garbage.

The main reason why sayu was more hated is because she really was out of pocket back then lmao. Instead of suspicious allegations like the recent luca and aster thing her's was straight up clips and vods. Unfortunately nieche fanbases are often misunderstood by many.
We live in a world today where we aren't allowed to make mistakes, grow and change, like our lives are anyone's business. Meddlesome, most of us has become.

I hope Dokibird does some kind of Collab with Sayu in the future to shut up all these stupid haters, It sucks to see her get attacked by braindead "Fans" who always bring up the past and never move on.
They clearly don't see the irony in attacking her in a way that almost killed Dokibird/Selen either, Would they be happy if they found out she attempted to end her own life? If so then these people are utterly irredeemable, I'd report/block their asses if I were Sayu.
Another reason to hate Niji beyond just the company; it's die hard fans.
I only got into vTubers in general some time after her termination, and never felt that I had enough information to form any sort of personal decision on the matter, so I pretty much just stayed away from the topic because my two-cents weren't worth potentially fueling the obvious flames on the matter. But goddamn, it's gotten impossible not to be behind her on this.
Whatever mistakes Sayu's apparently made, it seems pretty clear that she's learned from them, which is the entire point of making mistakes in the first place. And with how disturbingly, undeniably abusive the company that did everything in their power to smear her is toward the people over whom they hold control... NOBODY deserves what happens to them from beneath such people's thumbs. Plain and simple.

I had distanced myself from zaion's content since i just couldn't vibe with it after a while, and i didn't follow her on sayu since the drama had been too much at the time, but i've seen clips and hear she's been making strides to be better than what she was then and frankly i'm proud of her for it. "be better" loses it's meaning when you don't actually give that person room to try, and unfortunately many of these people bullying her are being huge hypocrites. whether her haters like it or not, she did suffer at niji's hands and she deservers support, just as doki does. she took the criticism and backlash, apologized, is STILL apologizing, and trying. i may ease back into her content, and just quietly hold her to her betterment. if something happens then so be it. but these harassment campaigns are making these "fans" no better than niji themselves at this point. people need to step back and really ask themselves what they believe they're accomplishing

Sayu deserves love just like Doki. I wont deny that Sayu had more mistakes than Doki but they were so minor and she apologized for it anyway. The fact is that they were both mistreated by the company and both deserve to succeed on their new platforms. I hope Sayu hits 100k soon while Doki hits 1mil because she already passed 600k

Remember when the most exciting part about watching vtubers were when they announce a new talent debut or new costume reveal or you know, what they had for their lunch or what game to play for the next stream?
