You sound like one of those "ree-spon-sible city-sens" as these little "enlightened scholars" would say. As a result, you aren't acting like a victim, and that's a problem! 😂 How many CCs are your motorbikes? 500?
Born and raised in Baltimore. Left over 10 years ago. The dirt bike riders in the city were doing this 20 years ago! Look up 9 o’clock boys documentary. Nothing has changed. As a motorcycle rider at the time, I was required to have a license, tags & insurance to ride Legally. Have undercover police follow them home, confiscate the bike, arrest the rider. Not difficult to do.
Let me get this insanity straight. Is it true that simply possessing a dirt bike is now illegal in Baltimore? Sure sounds like it. Police even asking public for tips to where they're stored, and have gotten warrants to search private property, and confiscate them.
Give them a place to ride and go racing! That's how we dealt with it in the past. From 50s drag racing to the skateboarders and skateparks. Knowing you will not chase them, is a big part of your problem ..Give them a choice JAIL or go to the race track or official riding area.
There is a place they can ride like this, Grand Theft Auto Online, or in Pennsylvania on their many trails. This is unacceptable behavior that can't be tolerated.
Just prohibiting is not a good strategy. The city government needs to build a facility or field where these dirt bike kids can do their dirt bike thing safely there and not doing it in the street. That will be the best way to deal with something like this.
Seems an impractical approach. Guys can get say-3 x 5gal red plastic DOT fuel containers, drive car/truck anywhere & fill up. These bikes get 50-70mph and that ~15gal is fuel for a lot of bikes on a lot of nights before filling again.
sorry, you're doing it wrong, if you ticket someone selling gas at a gas station (who only has one job and that IS TO SELL GAS) then you are going to have a problem in court, and I would charge these clowns for every second I was detained, and every second I spent in court wasting my time defending myself FOR DOING MY JOB
They may be having fun but they're breaking the law. They're hurting property values, causing higher car insurance rates, lowering the quality of life with their noise and hurting tourism. Who wants to visit or live in Baltimore and have dirt bikes ride past them on both sides of their car while they're at a red light? Who wants to listen to the constant noise as they ride up and down your street while you're just trying to relax in your own home? They are not being harassed. They're criminals.
We used to ride ATVs in white marsh before 43 went through. A few of the people that used to ride have since turned to drugs, a few have passed away from it.
Reminds me of skateboarders on the streets 2 or 3 decades ago. There were no skateparks, so they practiced their tricks on the streets. Then there was a concerted effort to get a skatepark in every city. The saying was (and still is), "If your city doesn't have a skatepark, then your city IS a skatepark." So maybe it's time for the city to give them a place to ride dirt bikes. It would give them a place to ride besides the streets.

I can tell you for an absolute fact that not one of my tires has ever hit city streets. Not even when I'm loading them up. I backed my trailer into my driveway and load my dirt bike straight on to it and then go away for a day and ride all day long. This is just nothing but excuses excuses excuses.
You sound like one of those "ree-spon-sible city-sens" as these little "enlightened scholars" would say.
As a result, you aren't acting like a victim, and that's a problem!
😂
How many CCs are your motorbikes? 500?
@@jakesoros2376 I have two 250's
@@JamesMac-t3p Nice!
So, does anyone with a gas can gets told no gas sold here or what?
This guy looks like he just came out of junior high school.
He needs to act like he's the mayor and act like he's in charge. Tell her one time and then move on to the next question.
When the Mayor tells the Press it is not the kids doing this!!!!!
No license plates, no insurance, no drivers licenses for the minors. Totally illegal.
I only feel bad for the legal dirt bike riders who get harassed because of the bad ones.
It's illegal to ride a dirt bike in Baltimore City.
So you do nothing again
Once again. The criminals are in charge. Thank a Democrat.
NO FREE MARKET IN BALTIMORE
You have to change the law. Allow the law enforcement to do the job . Unfortunately many wouldn't agree to what it would take to stop it.
I would guess he’s a quota hire, but in Baltimore he isn’t even a minority.
This is laughable ... do they actually think that a gas can won't be used.
At least these riders are paying road gas tax. Sure, they are still a problem, but I am amazed the government is stopping a revenue stream.
Where are the parents? Who bought these kids these bikes. The parents should be fined, not the gas station.
WOW! Blame the gas station for what the kids are doing! HEY POLICE do YOUR job!!!!!!!!!!
Gas station owners are not law enforcement.
If they want gas stations not to sell gas to them they should offer a police officer for when those "good kids" lash out.
Give these kids a place to ride. Arrest the others riding on the street.
Another reason I don't visit Baltimore
Give them a place to ride so that the streets can be peaceful and safe
The police chef thinks he’s some
Kinda mob boss😂
How the hell do you sell gas illegally from the gas station itself🤷🏾♂️
Just prohibiting is not a good strategy. The city government needs to build a facility or field where these dirt bike kids can do their dirt bike thing safely there and not doing it in the street. That will be the best way to deal with something like this.
Seems an impractical approach. Guys can get say-3 x 5gal red plastic DOT fuel containers, drive car/truck anywhere & fill up. These bikes get 50-70mph and that ~15gal is fuel for a lot of bikes on a lot of nights before filling again.
Umm selling gas is the whole purpose of gas stations...
It’s called a gas can. Why would you expect it to change....no consequences
Government incompetence and lawlessness. We the people are very tired of this nonsense.
What a ridiculous solution. So now they have to bring a gas can and fill their bike with that.
Gas Stations are not breaking the law.
Its not illegal to sell gas. Stations might not sell to police.
sorry, you're doing it wrong, if you ticket someone selling gas at a gas station (who only has one job and that IS TO SELL GAS) then you are going to have a problem in court, and I would charge these clowns for every second I was detained, and every second I spent in court wasting my time defending myself FOR DOING MY JOB
These kids are just having fun. Not hurting anyone. Stop harassing them
They may be having fun but they're breaking the law.
Don't you dare talk about our teenagers!
They will just get gas tanks and say they are trying to mow a yard or two
How do you sell illegal gas from a gas station which is allowed to sell gas?
What do mean selling it illegally. Are they giving the gas to these bikers at a discount?
God I love rural America.
So sick of the blatts.
What is stopping the dirt bikes from just buying gas and filling up a fuel jug.
We used to ride ATVs in white marsh before 43 went through. A few of the people that used to ride have since turned to drugs, a few have passed away from it.
The police won't chase you for if you have a dirt bike or a quad unbelievable
Reminds me of skateboarders on the streets 2 or 3 decades ago. There were no skateparks, so they practiced their tricks on the streets. Then there was a concerted effort to get a skatepark in every city. The saying was (and still is), "If your city doesn't have a skatepark, then your city IS a skatepark." So maybe it's time for the city to give them a place to ride dirt bikes. It would give them a place to ride besides the streets.
Anyone can buy a can of gas. Somehow, actually stopping and arresting reckless drivers, the cops go stupid. Stop criminalizing gas station workers.
It would be impossible for riders to bring a container to fill up gas and fill their bike up somewhere else. Impossible I say! Good job everyone!🙄
They need to leave these kids alone
Dirt bikes aren't illegal, you cant illegally search someone's house and just take their dirt bike
