Let's be honest. There is no more middle class. There is only upper class and low class. You could be making a middle class income but the cost is so high, you'll essentially be living paycheck to paycheck.

The primary driver is not the military leadership, if it were not the military, it would be another faction, for this problem exists all over the world where the elites, the one percent, are capturing all the wealth, and the people are getting poorer and poorer, albeit in different countries the problem exists to varying degrees, and that problem is the Secular-Capitalist System and the American hegemony of the World. In other words, it's a systemic problem, not one of corruption, although corruption is a symptom of the root problem.

On platforms like Reddit, so many people are describing the army as the "napak fauj" that has ruined Pakistan's democracy, economy, and the education system. We have never seen such kind of censorship in Pakistan before even during the reign of dictators, young people who demonstrated against military are now facing military courts which is totally illegal. Everyone who speaks against military is immediately picked up by agencies with there houses and businesses demolished and they have no further right to live in this country, there is even the talk of canceling the passports and ids of overseas Pakistanis who speak up or protest abroad. Which left the educated middle class usually more inclined to leave in search of better opportunity, refer themself as citizen of the world simply go where opportunity arise, unless the government doesn't provide incentive to stay, they wouldnt. Too many redtape, the irony is china is actually more open to give their citizen opportunity, sure it experience brain drain back then too but its way less so and as the economy grow, people stay. Pakistan is the fifth-largest country by population. It has the second-largest Muslim population and the fourth-largest Hindu population globally. Pakistan's GDP (PPP) is the second-largest in South Asia after India and ranks just behind Iran among neighboring Central Asian countries. Over 60% of its population is youth, and it has the fourth-largest English-speaking population worldwide. Pakistan’s society is relatively liberal compared to many Muslim-majority countries, and its people overwhelmingly favor democracy over dictatorship in all aspects of life.
The country boasts some of the world's highest mountain peaks in the north, a vast agricultural belt and ecosystem around the Indus River and its tributaries, and a geographically ideal position for logistics, situated at the crossroads of Central Asia, India, China, and the Middle East. Its industrial landscape is diverse but outdated, though this is relatively easy to modernize. Pakistan holds substantial mineral, metal, and fossil fuel reserves. Despite limited resources and regulatory challenges, its service industry competes on a global scale.
With improved policy development and sound macroeconomic strategies, Pakistan has tremendous potential to offer the world across many fields. May its leaders recognize the wealth of opportunities within the country and employ skilled resources to realize this potential, to make pragmatic decisions rather than blunders driven by emotion and ego.

Your own country battles staggering poverty, social injustice, and corruption on a massive scale-yet you choose to mock others to feel superior? Pakistan may face challenges, but we don’t hide behind hate; we stand resilient. Real strength isn’t in belittling others; it’s in confronting your own flaws. Scapegoating Islam only serves to justify the persecution of Muslims in India and stokes baseless hatred. This rhetoric mirrors the divisive tactics of politicians who exploit fear to advance their own agendas, fueling endless cycles of resentment. Instead of fostering animosity, let’s confront the actual problems.
