- Back to the shop today to use the big saws, but the crowded workroom was more than was anticipated. Regardless, ended up with some beauties! To me, one in particular is just a dandy. Hope you enjoy!

Wow!! All of these are amazing 🤩😍. But, yep, you saved the best for last. The west Texas agate was absolutely stunning!!!!
I definitely didn’t think it would have anything like that inside. Great job ✌️🫶😃. I’m new to rock hounding and now it’s a addiction, lol. I’m looking forward to seeing more videos. Have a blessed day

New sub! ❤
Where do you find these rocks? I’m new to this type of stuff.
I have wanted to do fossil hunting as a hobby now as kids are all grown. But now I found this channel and those are beautiful!
How or where do you find them?
Thanks
Thanks for the sub, glad to have you here! It’s a mix of self-collected and purchased/traded for, I spend a lot of time researching online and trying to learn so I can spot potential and make smart buys. As a result I’ve found some really good sources! Some other channels I’d recommend checking out would be World of Rockhounds, Theo Kellison Rocks, Montana Rock Mom, Dustin Finds Rocks, and Agates From Mexico. 😊
love the videos. please turn up your audio recording please
Still working on a fix for that, unfortunately I'm generally around some rather noisy saws or fans when recording, but I'll be working on improving the audio and a few other things as time permits. Thank you for the feedback, and thanks for watching!
@@TexasRocks you bet
I think you cut the botryoidal across it.. I think you wanted to cut parallel to the botryoidal layer?
Meant to cut it the way I did, the botryoidals will sometimes have agate banding in the cross section, and I also wanted each individual piece to contain a section of the bots once cut. No regrets!
